Also my engine is non hemi I can still swap the jets out right ?
They make a straight pipe I found on ebay for 29.99 look up coleman straight pipe its welded 10x better that the one sold on go powersports but it's also probably 10x louder. The 1st review says it sounds like a mini harley and 2nd says neighbors called police but if you have land to ride on no problems
I bought an exhaust pipe on eBay for about $27 shipped. It is freaking cool sounding! Glad i live out in the country, it almost sounds like a Harley. Enjoyed your video and the beer!
I have a tip about that govener screw. So mine was the same way and it is new. That little tab that hits the screw, get plyers and bend it down. Thats what I did and it goes fast. I hope this helped.
top speed? just got one a few days ago and it seems fast but goes slow up hills.. im about 5'7" and i weight at 210-215. any tips on making it go faster for dirt cheap?
The hill issue could be solved by getting a torque converter. Unfortunately they are not cheap. You can find them on ebay for $80ish and that's about as cheap as they come. You can also change out your rear sprocket for a larger tooth for low end torque. They run about $20-30
Man I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who bought a bunch of mods only to find I need a new carb. Bought a new exhaust and air filter and a new jet but I didn't know the stock carb can't be re-jetted. Looks like I get to buy more parts. Woohoo!

@@BriGuy503 Got my new carburetor but it wouldn't stay running when I switched it from choke to run so adjusted the idle and it idled fine but it bogged down when I rode it so I switched back to the stock carb and it runs a bit better but still lags and bogs a bit when I rip on the throttle. For starters buy a stage 1 kit for the engine. Next look up on UA-cam how to install a better sprocket, clutch, and jet. Those things will literally get you to 40+mph on a mini bike lol

Ok I took the jackshaft off ran the chain from back wheel to clutch. zip tie to the governor spring. Hitting 49mph I weigh 160 170 My kid Hitting 55mph

@@BriGuy503 Don't make the same mistake so many others have made. Go straight to a torque converter. You will gain bottom and top speed without opening the engine. Pulling the governor is useless once a torque convertor is installed.
@@bodhihollis The extra torque comes from gearing. From a stop you have more than 13/1 numerical gear ratio. With the stock jackshaft you have 10/1 all the time. When the belt shifts on the torque converter the gear ratio changes and you end up with 4.5/1 ratio. This is why you get higher top speed and better low end. With a clutch you have 1 gear, with a torque converter you have multiple "gears".
Mine had the non removable jet too. I was thinking its soft brass so I should be able get it out so I shoved a T20 torx bit screwdriver into the brass jet and with a little pressure applied I unscrewed it then installed the new jet. No need to buy a new carb.
The aluminum piece with a couple screws in it hanging off the header pipe to the factory muffler. Looks exactly like a dive reticulum in a fish or an appendix in a human, if fishes and humans were made of metal.

@@BriGuy503 I wasn't sure either as I purchased my Coleman in Oregon I figured it was a California thing and I was worried that piping the bike would make it run wrong even if it were jetted correctly. I have seen where guys use an "easy out" to remove the tamper proof jets like your factory carb had but I think I may buy the aftermarket carb like you did.
Wow did all those mods and still left the throttle stop in. What a waste of time. Could have removed the throttle stop and had more power without the "mods"

I changed the carb, intake and exhaust and now the bike dies when I throttle up. What did I do wrong?

It's pretty common for that to happen. Make sure not to leave it unattended, it could run into something lol

For the governor screw most people just take an angle grinder or a hefty bolt splitter and cut it off or u can just cut it off a lil if u want
Jet removal on the coleman carburetor is easy pisey no need to buy a new one .use a #2 torxs head and tap it in
And screw it out.

What did u do with the hose that comes out the top of motor when changing the air filter? Not sure what it does or what to do about it!
I zip tied it to the side and put a small k&n air filter on it

It's pretty normal to do that. I'm not too sure of the solution though. I think it's just something it does and you have to deal with it.

It's easy to remove the EPA jet with a drill and reverse pitch extractor. Less than a minute a minute of work. No need to purchase a new carburetor!

I just screwed mine all the way out and off, but I have the predator 212cc only mod so far is a 44 rear tooth sprocket am at 28 mph. Just a start. Lol
