I'm always amazed at how you lift your clients' hair to a level 10 or higher in one visit.
My lightener #Mydentity #Big9 (lifts 9 levels) and #Magmum8 (lifts 8 levels) are soooo good!
@@Guy_Tang which of your lightiners do you suggest for non colored black brown with some natural gray... to lift as much as possible without the damage? And will it take more than one visit to the salon for a few weeks? I've never had my hair dyed but want a silver chromey (don't kill me, I know not a word lol fuck it) shiny look... I had brain surgery a long while (was 20) back 50 50 odds... here I am 44... brain tumor... non malignant... my special needs child is an adult... ABSOLUTLEY LOVE HER... I told my hairdresser that I wanted to completely light my hair so I can go silver (I have Asian hair), but she just put foils. Now I have sections that are a dark blonde and some that are still my nature colour. It's just so frustrating when that's not what I asked. We need more stylist like you in the world who know what they're doing ❤️

I'm taking a picture of one of your lavender/silver hair creations to the salon as inspiration for the first time I'll be dying my hair an unnatural color at 32 years of age. I can't wait! I sooooo wish Guy Tangs vids where on youtube 9 years ago when i was still in a salon (before having kids and an office job). When no client ever realised that they couldnt go from a level 4 to a 10/11 in a 2 hour appointment!!! It takes time people. So Guy i salute you for always advising how long it takes so that you don't damage the clients hair. Your videos inspire me to want to do more hair again and get my creative streak back. I need to get mine done. I decided to stop fighting my natural gray hair but my local hairstylist said I'd have to go short to cut out the old color because it'd be too drying to strip it and get a natural look. I've got a full six months of growth so I'm going to have her cut some length (I had a stacked bob when we last colored it) and wait it out. I'd taken a prescription medication and had a major issue of hair loss. I used to have very thick hair but I've lost a good half of it. I'm getting a bit of regrowth so we'll see. I'm not shedding like I was 6 months ago so I'm hoping!!

This is the FIRST time ever I've seen it correctly done! I've struggled for almost 3 years to get this look from med. blonde hair to silver. Level 10 with Olaplex makes such sense on the roots. This video for me is an answer to prayer. I want SILVER. Yours is gorgeous!!!!

When I went to Peru my mom dyed her hair with GUY TANG PRODUCTS(the salon imported it) and instead of using foil paper they used like thin styrofoam sheets.

I NEED you to do my hair. My hair is half black half grey, but the grey I use is a bit too green tone, I've mixed with a purple toner and it works but it still isn't the cool icey dark slate grey I want! Grr!
Also, any tips for keeping bleached hair happy? I use coconut oil twice a week, argon oil and heat protectant after every wash and I wash my hair about every 3/4 days.

TheGTIKitten depends on the hair type but I have fine, porous, dry, curly hair that I bleach to a level 9-10. I use olaplex when I can, and homemade protein treatments (using gelatin) as that helps my curly hair and my mildly "stretchy" hair problems. Do not overload your hair with protein though, it will make hair straw like and extremely breakable. I suggest testing your hair for protein deficiency (there are videos on UA-cam) and then try a masque if you find you're lacking.
