This is so embarrassing but I’m actually tearing up reading all your comments. I tend to not put my work out there anymore because I get sick of people picking it a part. People will find anything negative to say. I love hair and it’s the biggest passion of mine and I felt so fulfilled filming and editing this video. I’m so happy to see how positively it’s being received too. It’s making me feel inspired to start showing more of my professional talent again.

I agree that this was amazing, and as a long time follower I like his content. But as a hair enthusiast myself, I sometimes hear him state some of his facts as more his opinions, which aren't always right, and you can tell he hasn't done any research to extend the knowledge on some of the topics he's educating us about. That does probably disturb some of the people with the specific hair types he is misinforming about. But no one can deny that he is a great hair stylist that is very knowledgeable on hair and hair color and has to me as someone who has cut and colored my own and my friends hair for the last five years, taught me a lot!

Whenever someone is very successful (usually more successful than the other people -aka other hairstylist on UA-cam in this case-) people just expect them to be perfect.
“They made this one mistake at x time, therefore they suck!”, “Why is the better hairstylist y not more popular!”
The thing is, there’s always gonna be people that are better than ANYONE. So of course online it’s gonna be more public, people have an easier time comparing so they just think “if this person is better why are they not more popular?” When the answer is really not that difficult. A lot of success, even though you need skill for it, is a lot of just pure luck, and some charisma as well. He got lucky and got more popular AND more people like his personality. It doesn’t mean he’s the best, but it doesn’t mean he’s horrible.

ikr! I've had people tell me a real stylist wouldn't use 30 developer for bleach since it's too strong but here's the thing... the olaplex weakens it to a 20 ANYWAY so it makes perfect sense to use the 30 (especially for application on the length of the hair where it's going to need the most lift). He's doing everything right!

Everything about this was so fascinating to watch. The end result is so so beautiful and healthy. There is no doubt you know your trade; direct anyone who says otherwise to this vid. And that blonde suits her so much! She rocks brunette and obliterates as blonde. Going to watch this again when I moan about having to bleach my roots to remind myself how awesome it looks when it is done. Which, is also thanks to you - my sister who isn’t a hair dresser picked up all the tips for bleaching from you and I get comments and questions about who does my bleach all the time because it’s that good.

Her brunette hair was fine. She really needs different shades(tones?) of brown though in there to give it depth. Her hair looked flat because it was one shade of brown which unfortunately can happen with us brunettes. But since he did a root shadow with her blonde hair it looks more vibrant. Not flat or one dimensional. She looks good either way. Now I want to see a video with him making someone look more dimensional with brown hair.

Please don’t ever pay attention to jealous haters. They’ll never go away. Just work for all the people who love watching you. I’m not a hairdresser but I’m fascinated with your talent. At least now I know what to look for in a great hairdresser. Let us know if you’re ever coming to Houston. Keep up the great work!!❤😊

First off, she was meant to be a blonde! Second, I recently saw a TikTok saying how Brad wasn’t a real cosmetologist and I feel like he saw it also and was like “Ahem, hold my drink please & watch me ”.
    This came out AMAZING.

I'm starting cosmetology school in August and I've been watching Brad's videos for years as well as bleaching and coloring my hair myself and for family and friends for years. Thanks to Brad, I haven't screwed up my hair to the point of not being able to fix it lol. Hair and makeup have always been a passion for me, and I'm extremely excited to start this new journey. Brad has always been a huge inspiration to me and I will forever thank him for that. Also, if anyone has any tips for a baby cosmetology student I will gladly listen!!
