- My mom wanted to transition to gray hair gracefully and no longer color her hair anymore.
This process took us over 8 hours with multiple steps. Thank you @ArianaSin for working with me so we can finish this process with success.
✨First step is to extract and remove my moms oxidative dyes on her ends with a color remover.
✨Second step was to lighten her ends with #GuyTang #Big9 creme lightener with @Olaplex no1 and MyHero Collagen Powder.
✨ Once hair is lifted to a level 10
Apply @GuyTang_ Mydentity Demi color
On Nape area:
1️⃣8SS SilverSmoke with 6vol
2️⃣8SS SilverSmoke + CrystalClear with 6vol
On Top Section:
1️⃣SilverMoonDream10 with 6vol
2️⃣SilverMoonDream10 + CrystalClear with 6vol
Process for 25mins
💕All colors #Olaplex No1 and GuyTang #MyHero Collagen Powder added in for protection and repair.
✨Shampoo and Condition With MyHero Nourishing System.
Spray MyHero leave in treatment and then apply a small amount of the MyHero nourishing creme on ends and then blowout.
✨Style with MyPower HairSpray for hold with body and volume.
✨Take home maintenance for my mom is
50g of Olaplex No2 with GuyTang 10g of MyRefresh Silver Pearl
To lock lock in color and close cuticle while coating outer layer with direct silver pigment for longevity til all her natural hair grow out.

I have been growing my colour out for the last 6 months, I'm so done with root touch ups every 3 weeks, I'm 66yrs old and when I see women over a certain age with dark hair it just seems to make them look older, your mother has beautiful skin and looks amazing now

Thank you! I’ve been waiting for this kind of video for us greying girls. I’m 45 and going silver white in the front. I dare not color ‘cus I love the silver and it looks just like my dearly departed mother’s. My mother was gorgeous, unfortunately I look like my father, so having something visible is precious to me. I’ve been trying to find a way to not only accept my grey but totally rock it. There are lots of opinions, but very little expert hair people like you talking about grey hair. 🎉Thanks again Guy!

Yes come live in Aus! My hair is waist length and naturally pepper and salt with purple under-lights. It’s so easy to manage. I’m 66 It’ll be hard to cut it shorter but one day soon.

I must add that your mom has Asian hair which is stronger than a lot of other ethnic groups, so damage will not be as severe. She is so lucky to have a beautiful head of hair. Great job. She looks fabulous
I try to explain to my students that Demi colors can last longer than permanent because it doesn’t damage the hair like permanent color. But your description is such a great way to describe my point.

I looked in the mirror today and noticed all my gray. I just turned 44. The whole crown of my head is "sparkly". It's sad because my hair is the only part I really like about me.
I wish I could afford someone like you to do exactly this to my hair. But, there is no way and I also have very long and kind of thick hair. I'm pretty sure my old hair dresser dreaded every time I would make an appointment for a touch up.
I'm ready to accept the gray now, just would prefer it to be all gray. :( or silver whichever you prefer :)

I transitioned to my natural gray during the pandemic and my colorist was not really experienced but she did her best. I have very curly hair and now no color and no heat ..it is very freeing. You and your mom are beautiful.
