As always have a great day!
I can't believe how good my lights are now, Thank you
Absolutely! Thanks for sharing your experience!
I use this product once a year on my 2002 Camry and it really significantly improves the clarity of the headlight lenses. The cost is decent [around $10 a kit] and the effective time of about one year is remarkable as my car is in the heat of summer and the cold-ice-snow elements of winter here in Massachusetts. I am very well pleased with this product. I have already purchased my kit for next year's application as I apply it every September.
That's a good tip. Mine is still holding up after a few months but winter hasn't hit yet. Thanks for sharing your user experience.
Curious to know if the lens were really yellow when you tried them. I have a 2006 and had two different companies try to fix them. Both failed. Am looking for another product that actually works. Thank you!
Months ago I used this on my 2008 VW Bug Convertible and it is just as effective as you said. Today I used it on my Nissan Rogue and got the same clear results : )
Very cool. Thanks for sharing your experience with this item. Have a great day and stay safe.
Thank you! I've had this product for about 2 months. Your visual instructions helped me. I'm gonna tackle and get back to you👍
If you follow the directions the results should be similar. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Ever since I saw you review it I use it in all my cars thank you
I watch your reviews frequently and usually agree with what you think. This product does what it claims. Thanks for the review stay safe. Gary Vancouver Canada

You did the review so great which I able to learn from you. So interesting!
Glad it helped. Thanks for your kind words.
Love these reviews..thanks again for sharing💜😊👍
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you for your support!
Wow that’s really cool . Just need to follow the instructions. Great
It was just that easy. Thanks for the support.
Ive always wondered about these. But once I seen the sanding stone, I knew it would work. You can do this with a fine grit sand paper too! Thanks for sharing, Jeff
I was really happy with this product. It actually worked. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Great job, you got it brother!!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for stopping by!
Love your video man, both my headlights and foglights had oxidation, and this stuff really work 👍 😀
I'm impressed with this stuff...that being said you will probably need to redo in 8-12 months. I'm getting to redo it myself. Instill love the stuff. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Very nice. I've used something similar that didn't seem to work at all and it was more expensive. This one worked a whole lot better.
This stuff is pretty good...It lasts about a year and then you need to reapply. thanks for checking it out!
I just used that product today on a 2005 Buick LaCrosse. It worked as described, excellent product.
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience with this.
Very good review that’s so cool that it really works
I was very happy with the results. Wipe New made my 9 year old lights look new again. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
That stuff is like a miracle!
I can’t believe how well that works. For once we see someone follow the directions to a T and get the exact claimed results!.
I will be using this Rustoleum Wipe New. Fantastic review Jeff!
P.S.
Is that red cloth just a tiny little Shamwow? Haha.
It's nice having a product that does what it says. I was pleasantly impressed. I'd use it again.
I sure liked my mini-shamwow!
Awesome, same product I bought and same forester, great video!
Those Foresters are awesome! Let me know how it goes with the headlights. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I'm sold, I bought one in town today and after seeing this I'm fairly confident it will work. I'll know in a few hours.
That's awesome. Make sure to use plenty of water during the sanding part. Let me know how it works for you.
This thing works! Love it
It does a great job...In my experience it lasts about a year before you have to do it again. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I just started working on a car that was gifted to me and wondered why one of the headlights looked really yellowish🤔 This review couldn’t have come at a better time because I was just going to replace it🤦🏽♀️ I so thank you for this video my friend. Amazing 👏🏽 👏🏽 Like#32👍🏽
That's awesome. I too was considering replacing the lights but even non-OEM replacements were expensive. I was excited with how this product works. Let me know how it goes for you.
How did it do?
As always reviews to a PERFECTION! Thanks again Jeff for your reviews. Used this in the past & I'm pretty sold on it from the results. Unfortunately I can't use the 30 seconds house cleaner today due to the weather, but I'll let you know the results afterwards.
STAY SAFE BRO!
I am really impressed with this stuff...works almost as fast as the 30 second cleaner. Let me know what you think when you get to use it...Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
@@Jeffreviews4u still unable to use it due to our loopy weather here. HOPEFULLY can try next week. I'll letcha know the results
@@Lee-st4gs thanks for the update.
I need to try this on my truck. It looked pretty good. Mine are pretty bad and I'm going to try it. Thanks for sharing my friend and have a wonderful day.
Let me know how it works for you. I was pretty impressed.
I will do that. Thanks again for sharing my friend.
👍 awesome! Thanks.

I'm going to try now ❗

Thank you for sharing 💪😊
Absolutely, thank you for stopping by and showing your support.
Great video!!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I've seen everything from Toothpaste to sandpaper jobs followed up with spraying clear coat on. This seemed pretty easy though. Might have to give it a try. Thanks for the review.
I was impressed with how this product worked. Lights still look great. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Im gonna love your channel already .. thanks New friend here. Saw u on Pusa channel nice. Video
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Let me know if there is a product toy want reviewed.
Hey great reviews. Such a difference.
So years ago a mechanic friend told me to use toothpaste to clean headlights....and no joke it works.
It was an impressive transition. I will have to try the toothpaste sometime. Thanks for the tip!
It works just as mosquito repellant but u have to use a clear coat go protect them
I bought mine from Walmart...It worked great so far.
Glad to hear it, mine still looks crystal clear after a month. Thanks for the comment.
Great video. I could really use some for my car 👍🏻
I was impressed with the stuff...it lasts about a year before you have to do it again. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Wow....that is awesome...
It was pretty sweet! however not for mildred!
that is one cool product right there 💪
I love it when a product does exactly what it says it will do!
My ancient Mazda pick-up( read Ford Ranger) headlight lenses really needed some sort of help to become useful at night. The oxidation was awful! I have always liked and used Rustoleum products so I chose this Wipe New product to use. Boy, was I surprised!! I followed the instructions for sanding with the little pad using both sides. I then used the polishing rag as directed and let everything dry up. Here I got a little concerned as the lenses seemed to come out a little foggy. Having no fear that all would fine I used the really smelly cloth from the sealed bag. The fumes are very strong but used correctly they are easy to handle by not getting downwind and wiping the lenses only once per application. They say that once is enough. How right!!! Immediately the lenses become almost as clear as new! After the lenses sat for the prescribed time they still were 98% as new!!! This product worked just as described by following the clear instructions. Good stuff!!!! NH
Thats awesome - I am really impressed with this stuff. Thanks for sharing.
thanx for the review, you saved me like $100.00 , thanx bro
Glad it helped. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Great job thanks man
Absolutely! Thanks for stopping by and commenting
THANK YOU JEFF......Bill, Ga.
You are most welcome. Hope it helps. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
That was pretty impressive!!!
I was wondering if they stayed nice and clear like that or in a day or two did they go back to being yellow and foggy?????
Thank u sooooo much...it really works I just did 👍
Glad it was helpful! Just an fyi mine lasted about a year before I had to do it again. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
@@Jeffreviews4u is it ok if I save the lil pad and the cloth I put them in sum baggies
Very nice video
Glad you liked it, thanks again for showing your support!
This is interesting, I've seen a ChrisFix video where he explains wet sanding is the proper way to restore headlights. I've been looking for a wet sanding, one-n-done, type of kit. This is def a contender
Wet sanding is important with this application. Let me know how it works for you.
Great review.
I used a similar product a few years ago. It lasted about three years.
It was much more effort and complexity than this Rustoleum product.
That's cool. What was the product name? Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Lolololol!!! The baby in the background (i have my earphones in) I thought that was my kid! lol
Haha. His voice makes its way in many of my videos. Lol. Good ears. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Thanks!
you are most welcome! thanks for stopping by and commenting.
NICE VIDEO
I liked the headlight restore. It got the job done. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I have a 2002 Impala, I am wondering if this will work on a heavy build up? Mine are horrible 😢 I am thinking of just replacing the whole shabang! In Phoenix Arizona.
Thanks for sharing! 👍
You get 10-12 months in a treatment the. You will have to redo the process. I was thrilled with my results. I will redo them in the spring. Hope this helps. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
That's pretty interesting....it looks really new! Wonder how long it will last?
I'm hoping a long time. I tapped on it today and it seemed to be tough. That being said it was pretty easy to do if it needed to be done again in a year or so.
How long did your lensses stay clear?
Hey Jeff love your reviews! Can you do a review of Shine Armor? Thanks!
thanks for your kind words...what product from shine armor did you have in mind?
The ceramic car wax
Why does nobody use the round blue buffing pad at the very end after putting the wipe it stuff on?
Great video, How is it holding up?
They are still looking good. On average you get 10-12 months before having to do it again. Hope this helps. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Should I do it before I go to the car Walsh or after
I'd clean the lens first and then complete the process. thanks for commenting.
I bought a week or so ago and my box gives it a lifetime warranty!
I'm hanging onto my sales receipt for just in case.
I get about a year before I have to reapply. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I tried a similar product once. The chemical slightly melted the lenses and left streaks. Also, it didn’t do much to protect against UV rays and it only lasted a month or two. Have you experienced either of those issues with this product? Thanks, Jeff!
I didn't have any streaking but after 6 months I noticed it wasn't as clear...by the 10 month mark it needed to be redone. Hope this helps. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
@@Jeffreviews4u Ive seen where some say spraying on the produce Plexus when you clean them will make them stay clean for years. Simply spray it on and wipe the Plexus off a few times a year and theylll stay as clean as the day you did them
Bring out the subaru forester! 😜
love the old Subaru!
How long will this look good ? You will see oxidation after few months again
I got about 6 months before having to do it again. Hope this helps. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
So one kit per headlight? Or can you split it to both?
I used 1 kit for both lights. You need to prep them both first and then use wipe.
I tried this product today on my rav4 headlights, it has half of part yellowing and half was fine before use this product.. After i used the product the yellow part is improved but normal without yellowing is completely scratched:-( after using the product. Is that due to sanding, basically i did sanding entire headlight. Any suggestions how to remove scratches because of this product?
Wet sanding is a must...I made sure it was very wet the whole time...even when using the polishing side. This should help.
Jeff reviews4u i did apply wet cloth of wipenew now an hour back.. What is your suggestion, do you want me to try again with wet sanding and clean it and apply wet cloth of wipenew again??
@@friendlyashraf I'd wait a day or so. Wet sand with a lot of water. Reapply wipe new.
Jeff reviews4u sure, i will wait one day and then follow same process again.. im not able to share photo here :-(
Can you reuse the same pad and wipe new on the other headlight?
I did, I recommend prepping both lights first and then using the wipe new pad. Hope this helps.
Thanks. I also have fog lights. Im guessing to avoid the madness.
Ill buy 2 of these and call it a day
Let me know how it works out!
Tried it but got 50/50 results. Perhaps if i do one more time??
How did it go the 2nd time?
Jeff Reviews4u Still 50/50 ; 2nd application didnt seem to do much. :/
Thanks for this video. the instructions that come with it confused me lol
Glad it helped. Let me know how it worked for you.
How long did it last.
I had to reapply after about 10 months. It all depends on the climate where you live. Some get more some get less.
Once you remove the white cloth with the soaked wipe new solution it is a hell of a smell it might knock you out lol
It sure does. Don't sniff it. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
@@Jeffreviews4u I had it away from my nose as far as possible and wow, bang that chemical is wicked.
@@JB73691 that smell means it works - hahahaha.
@@Jeffreviews4u Yeah it worked well on my Mini, but yes it is powerful.
Glad it worked for you. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Don't take a picture after you use the final wipe... wait 30 minutes bc it will show up better and you'll be able to see that it doesn't make it like new like you said.
If done right it will look new. The down part is it is not a permanent fix and will need to be redone every year. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
@@Jeffreviews4u do i have to wipe off the final step or leave it to dry off by itself?? Becase mine looks too oil
Wish I watched any of these videos before tackling this project, I got zealous & kept going over it, thinking more is better, now I've got a hot mess! 🙄
I think you can do it again. Once dry start the steps over - sand it really good and only use 1 wipe. Let me know how it works. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
isn't it corrosive for car painting?
I didn't try to get it on the paint, and if I did I didn't notice any damage. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Did you clean both headlights with one purchase?
I sure did. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Jeff reviews4u thanks for the reply.
@@chitonyc1979 absolutely!
Any Update videos???
The lights still look good. This product normally lasts about a year before you'll have to redo it. The next time I do a video with my car in it, I'll point out the lights. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I bought mine at the 99 cents store and it cost me $1.49 :)
I tried following the directions and made my headlights worse. I wish I would have thought to youtube it first. 😭
really be careful with this product.
1. use it in a well ventilated area
2. Do not expose the headlight to rain or water immediately after using it. I got rain as soon as i was done applying it and it was the worst experience. I had to scrape it off the lenses and buy a new set of the product . This product is permanently sits on the headlight. It is very hard to remove it. It also gets oxidized itself and when you wanna reapply , it will be like hell. It is a kind of coating. it stays permanently. It will turn yellow and you will have hard time removing it.
I wish I didn't have to try it.
Wow, sorry to hear you had so much trouble. I appreciate you sharing your experience. Another thing to mention is this product will need to be reapplied in a year or so. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a great day and stay safe.
THE INITIAL SPRAYING THE LENS PART BEFORE APPLYING THE 2-SIDED STONE IS CONFUSING HERE...YOU USE SOME SORT OF SPRAY THAT WAS NOT IN THE INCLUDED PACKAGING...NOR MENTION WHAT IS THE CONTENT IN THE BOTTLE...WELL..WHAT IS IT ?
Water in a spray bottle. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
😃 Uh, water?
I used it and followed the directions. It is so streaked and horrible tesults!
This takes patience and a lot of wet sanding. It's all about the preparation.
Why are you doing a recap of what we just literally saw?
Well that's what I do. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
