Restored a 10 year old cars headlights with fantastic results thanks for the video!!
Your easy straightforward manner was helpful to me on my first attempt at headlight restoration. They needed it and it worked. Thank you.
I'm really impressed with the product. Thanks to watching this video, I went ahead and did two my cars, since you said it was good for 4 headlights. Lol, I might have been able to have done another one of my vehicles, but it's at the other house. I don't normally comment, but thought this product deserves credit. Plus video said I could do 4 headlights get credit too. I did prefer to sand and polish in a back forth motion instead of circular or random. Circular causes swirl marks IMO.
I have an 09 Corolla in almost mint but the headlights look like crap, faded and yellow. I used this product and the lights look brand new. It was easy to apply, just follow the directions. Great product! I'd highly recommend it.
Just did mine. I used sprayway glass cleaner instead of water and it worked great. Sanded very detailed and kept going until there was an even haze over the entire lens - and then used the wipe. The wipe was still so saturated when I was done my buddy let me use it on his lights and didn't even want them sanded. Still worked, just not as well but still cleaned it up a lot.
I followed the directions above and the process came out just fine for me. Clear as a bell on my Hyundai's 12-year-old headlights (that I'd never cleaned/cleared before). Money well spent.
Good 👍🏻 video thanks 🙏🏻 I did mine today and I guess you have to maintain it once in a little while same process until is clear
I bought this restoration kit for my '96 Corolla cause obviously the headlights are really yellow & hazed so I used this kit & noticed a difference for sure
I've tried other products but this was easy. Made my headlight lens 100% better. Not kidding! And cheap!
Thank you man. Straight to the point and the product worked.
This video was so helpful. Thank you!
I live this product and thank you!!!

Thank you, you saved me a lil over 300 bux

@@stbam1965 Depends on the vehicle and quality. German cars good luck with that .
My shoulder hurts just watching this
Used this today made mine look brand new
Thank you.
He wore glove in on one hand and touched the rust oleum with the hand without gloves 😆😆😅😄
And what's your point ???
So what? Male Karen
Ok.....
And somehow he still lived
@@montzma45 you shouldn’t touch it with your naked hands... This thing even damage your paint
Nice vid
dude you rock!
thank you.
I'm glad I checked the video before applying. Excellent explanation. Gonna try tomorrow
This looks much easier than the 3M kit that requires a drill or buffer. That was such a mess. I'm going to try these wipes.
Yes it’s easier but it doesn’t have the same results , I’ve tried both several times on different cars
It really works well buddy. It made my 09 Corolla look new. Just follow the directions.
Best tire shine?
How long does it last?
How long does it last before they go yellow again?
Can it be redone if it isn't perfect?
Thanks, good video, but how long does it last? You can put some WD40 on the headlights and in 2 seconds it will even look better than this result, but it will go back to dull within a few hours. So how about these wipes?
It lasts a few month or more. It just depends on weather conditions. For $10, it is a good value.
@@MartinsUsedCarsCollectiblesLLC Thanks for the info 👍
My question is how long with that last?
I believe I got contact from the wipe and my bumper... how can i clean it off???
Rubbing alcohol works to get it off
After it’s dry will clear coat help prolong the results?
As long as it a UV top coat. The reason it is yellow or foggy to begin with is because the factory top coat is gone and the polycarbonate is discolored since it is not a uv resistant material. If you don’t add a uv topcoat, your lights will yellow again
Use a spray wax every few months. They will stay clear.
How clear does it come out. Would this work on a polycarbonate motorcycle windshield. I have some scratches I want to get out.
Not sure how good it would work on a windshield. I would not recommend it for a windshield.
@@MartinsUsedCarsCollectiblesLLC ok thanks.
How long do you thnk the coating will last on the headlights? About a year or so maybe?
Usually, depends on how bad the oxidation is on your lights.
So dumb question after the last step is applied and dried still looks bad can you start the process over again to get it right?
I guess so
You really have to sand it for 20-30 minutes for extreme results. The whipe is basically an oil based lubricant to shine out the plastic (think armor all on your dash). 6 months you’ll be doing it again
@@mrgadget5845 if it Last 6 mths I'll be very happy
wow
it just arrived and it works 100%!!!
How long dose it last
Like 3-4 months
No one ever pops the hood open so it doesn’t make contact with the paint lol
Genius.
Very valid point
I like the idea like the method but I followed every step you gave and it did not work at all and I even went ahead and scrubbed until I didn't feel the rough ness of the headlights
Then let it dry completely until it looks more cloudy then when you started. Then apply the clearing agent. Some headlight may have too much oxidation on them to show perfect results.
You might go a step further and buff the light's with toothpaste yes it works, then wash it off and put this on, but I believe a UV protect spray would last longer or even a UV curing clear top coat.
Wet sand Using 800 grit sand paper until smooth. Clean lenses. Use a clean towel soaked in acetone, do one clean swipe, flip towel to clean side and swipe again. Thank me later.
I did mine today . I'm not sure i did it correctly can it be done a second time?
You sure can
I just got mines 2day I will let u know how it works out 4 me lol
Lisha Johnson what happened?
@@jblazer49 it was ok but u can tell it wont last..the other light that didnt need it still looks better..put it like this ur gonna have to do a couple of more times...lol
Lisha Johnson In a year?
@@jblazer49 I just saved the stuff I didnt throw anything away so when I get sum boring time I will try it again...lol
👍I don't know Martin I think using water from a blue bottle probably would have done a better job,
