I have done everything including resetting my phone and radio and still nothing. Everyone else’s phone has access to my cars carplay except me, when they plug it in. It’s not even showing up when I go to CarPlay in settings. It started a week ago. I even updated my phone and still acting up.
Problem: lightning fast charging chords are not compatible. You need an old slow charging cord. Order a slow charging and try that first. On my Buick I noticed my iPhone not connecting and not charging my iPhone. Ordered an slow one and problem solved.
Had similar issue. Had to reset the radio and it started to work again. I have a 22 Dodge Durango RT plus. I tried everything in this video until I did the reset.
Honda 2017 Pilot - My CARPLAY would not work because I had an IPOD plugged into another USB port in the arm rest. I would make sure you do not have any other devices plugged into a USB port ---- Just your IPHONE into the CARPLAY port! ---- Took 5 hours to figure this out! Not posted anywhere! Once I unplugged my IPOD from the other USB port ----- CARPLAY recognized my phone and worked!!!!!!!!
iPhone 12 won’t project to Carplay I have a 2022 Kia EV6 and an iPhone 12 Pro that CarPlay worked fine with for the past 18 mos. The car only has wired CarPlay. Now the phone won’t project. Other iPhones work in my car. My phone won’t project to CarPlay in other cars. It’s not the cable, Siri is enabled, not the settings/ privacy. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my car in my Bluetooth phone settings. When I plug in my phone the car detects the phone via USB but it won’t project to the car screen. It stopped working a couple weeks ago so no upgraded to iOS 17.0.3 but it didn’t help. I also blew out my phone lightning port with compressed air. I have tried everything I have seen that might fix the “phone is not responding” problem but nothing works. What next?
Sadly, i tried all of the suggestions in youtube and none worked for me. Carplay is working on my iphone 11 but for my 12 pro max it doesnt.. idk what's wrong. Both are on latest ios 16
Same problem I asked in showroom they said ,older iPhone only works latest iPhone after iPhone 11 they doesn’t support many customers said this complaint we will working on it …
That’s crazy because I have a 12 pro max and it used to work fine I remember then the car sat for a bit and the CarPlay now is super slow or doesn’t even work only bt
Sadly, CarPlay won’t start as I’m plugging my phone in and on the Infotainment system of my car, the Apple CarPlay symbol is greyed out. Can anybody help??

@@-RMZB it randomly started working after I went to Florida for Thanksgiving. I came back and it was back to normal.
@@nul5979 hopefully I get the same luck. My car reads the iPhone in the CarPlay menu but nothing shows up on the phone, tried everything
@@nul5979 that’s what I was facing so it’s something with the car not my phone or cable and setting are good
Bro, I realized it wasn’t connecting because my phone has to be around over 50% so it will work.

I feel like I’ve tried everything, even when it does it work, it’s super slow I have the Sony xav ax 150 wired CarPlay
