You need a data type cable to connect USB A to USB C if you have an iPhone 15. It’s the only thing that worked for me.

While listening to music via cable with usb, my car tells me no usb device found while trying to trying to ask it for different songs

when i connect via Apple cord, my car says it’s connected, then 2 seconds later says it isn’t, then 2 seconds later says it is, etc. Only way I’ve figured out to fix it is to turn off and on my phone… EVERY TIME I start my car!!!
(and yes, I bought a brand-new cord 2 days ago from Apple and got the car last week)

apple carply worked fine with my iphone x and 12 pro max
now it wont work with the 15 Pro max
apple doesnt carry a cord with an a and c end
tries multiple different cords from different manufacturers and the phone will only charge
carplay does not connect
