You video on the Filp 3 is what helped me decide to buy it, and I should go back and watch the videos on the 4 and 5 you did.
Why did it take you too long a time to make my day? You know this is the video I have waited for like forever.
Bought my flip 3 in 2020 and im still enjoying it!
Where u using any case???
@@samgrootroessink7314 yeah, first I used samsungs silicone blue with a ring on the back. I still use it when I go downhill skiing to make it easier to grip. Then I didn't use any covers for a while until I found one plastic shell that I still use. But it's a little annoying that I like the cover because I got one of the special online colours for my flip. I've changed the screen protector twice. Once at Samsung after about 2 years (I guess they had a longer policy before) and once myself after the previous protector gave up after getting sweaty after a tough skiday
bought my zflip 3 about 2 years ago refurbished and it only lasted about 8 months before the screen started turning black and stopped working when I dropped it 😭 and then I got the screen fixed and the phone lasted another year until the screen started glitching out. then a green line in the middle formed and the screen started bleeding and becoming black. I didn't even drop it the second time smh 😭
@@samgrootroessink7314 sorry, missed your question. Yeah, for sporty stuff like alpine skiing etc I have the silicone that Samsung makes. But everyday I just have a simple plastic one with features. It's held a few drops with both cases. The biggest headache comes from sweat that starts to undo the screen protector. But putting a new one on isn't that difficult.
@@starella. Sorry to hear that. Mine has mostly had a regular plastic case on and survived a few drops without any issue. I guess I just got lucky.
Impressive phone from Samsung once again 😍 good job!
Clap clap
Agreed, they're improving their foldables structurally every year
Still gonna wear down quicker than a slab phone 😅
@@JayBlackmoreswell my cousin had the first generation flip of samsung and still good. 😂
Impressive? Its a nightmare to repair. Everything glued in. Glass breaks each time you open it. Horrible cheap engineering as 99% of modern phones.
The pain I felt when start to scratch the phone...
Probably my favorite teardown yet. So much cool stuff in this one :D
"and protects better then the secret service" LOL... good one.
5:46 " like a dorito noco nacho cheese taco" this gave me a tickle! More of this please Jerry!! Ahaha
Dorito loco nacho cheese taco
He’s speaking taco bell!
Ahuevo prro!!! :V
Yo quiero taco bell 🔔
Thanks for another in-depth review, Zack! Your attention to detail always helps me make the best tech choices. ❤
Zack⁉️ why it's not ZackRigEverything then
I'm watching this and typing this on my z6, and it meets all of my wishes and more. I love this phone so much. I could not wish for a better phone. Trust, i will not be this rough with it 😭
Wow! It’s actually really durable, I just ordered mine. Used the Samsung trade in option, and got it for much cheaper 😊
Although I'm not a fan of the folding devices and the whole folding concept, but I have to say that the amount of technology inside this tiny device is amazing! Thanks Zack for showing us the insides ❤
once you try one you will never look.back.all bricks will appear to you as prehistoric tech😂 gone from flip 2 now I am at 5 and will never look that bricks , one the copy of the other. no tech evolution.only flips took fresh air thanks god
@@pc-easy I'm watching Zack's teardown for more than 7 years, never get board 了
@@pc-easymy mom used a flip phone before, bought a new phone immediately. Too unreliable, fragile and too expensive to repair. It’s still too new to be depend on but that’s the same with any new tech really.
Damn this phone keeps on improving. Couple of years later, it could be a must buy
U should do it now
i personally think its the first generation thats actually ready
12:47 protects better than the secret service 💀
Please explain.

I seriously don't really worry about my Folds after watching this man. Looking forward to the Fold 6 video. Great video as always ❤
Ok now this is how you make an ad for once in my life I was interested in it for some reason well done ❤😮
I've been waiting for this like forever ❤
Him cutting into the display was weirdly satisfying!
Awesome as always. It'd be very interesting if you checked that new Galaxy Watch Ultra
How did you watch this 8 hours ago???

5:50 Considering how badly other foldables perform int this regard, this seems incredible. The hinge refuses to give way.
I recently started using the flip 5 and honestly it's probably the best phone I've used. Probably won't upgrade until they release a flip 8 or even a 9
My favorite Jerry video yet. thumbs up for that
Durability test, yes and teardown in one video ❤🔥
"Like Water droplet torture just wearing me down little by little eroding my sanity and shaving a little bits of my happiness off like carrot heade to a salad" These are the Best lines I have heard for Flip Phones 😂😂😂
I switch to the Galaxy fold 4 from my Galaxy Note 9. My girlfriend has the s22 ultra..
Now I have the Z-Fold 6
For me I will never ever ever go back!!
I am so hooked with the bigger screen getting used to it and the front screen is big enough so you don't have to open it all the time to do what you were talking about.
And then when I would go back to my girlfriend's s 22 ultra just using that smaller screen drove me crazy... I almost never shut my phone if you get a good case like Spigen you have plenty to grab on to. After watching videos, video games and using the screen when it's open there is just no going back after you get used to it.
Peace out God bless Love your videos!!
I'm glad that Zach's only complaint about the Z Flip 5 is "it's just not for me". I really expected that he'll say something like "it broke instantly" or something like that
8:38 THE ONE PIEEEEECE

Hi Jerry,
It was an honor meeting you and your wife tonight. Enjoy our beautiful city and Thank You so much for the Great work you do educating us all World wide.

thanks for making topics clear and easy to understand!
0:25 yup same conclusion here. I was a power pixel user and switch for fun. 6 months of normal heavy usage battery degraded that it only lasts half a day without charging.
Bro gets normal companies to sponsor his videos. His content is just that awesome.
3:38 goosebump moment
9:00 - that's the face of a man who loves what he does 😂💪🏽
9:21 The Deeper we go, the better it looks.

Zack's voice is good to the point where you actually listen to the sponsor. You should be a narrator.
Wow this thing looks like a works of art internally gotta respect Samsung for that
Vapor Chamber of Secrets had my dying haha
Had me weeping Murtle bruh
9:07 what you see when Jerry takes your insides apart 🫨
I'm sorry ?
Awesome video as always 🔥
I personally love the folding aspect of these phones. Because it makes disconnecting from tech all the more easier.
Man! Is this ever going to stop being satisfying? (hope no!) Plus Jerry's jokes... The perfect formula! 👍
9:00 you should have moved the phone around to show how the camera counteracts the vibrations, instead of moving around the camera
"Protects better than the secret service" love the humor
5:27 that hinge sounds like my knees the second I turned 20
Yes, we'll see you around!!
The creepy phone seriel killer smile while testing the optical stabalization. 😂😂😂😂
12:46 😭🤭🤣 I was not expecting that
For my American audience that’s about the same size as an Ant if you rip it in half first 💀💀 5:15
2:20 that’s because the phone hasn’t been folded yet, as soon as you start folding it the crease will become more visible
i compared with brand new flip 5, and i can say they improved the crease
Maybe they improved it a bit but will still get more visible with use and not stay as perfect as out of the box
@@Darx97 ofc it will since it's a flexible material, but the point is they improved compared to last gen.
@@KoreanAir001 ye no doubt in that, its good that people like you keep buying these so they keep improving them and hopefully they will become on par with normal phones in a few years when it comes to display durability where you aren’t concerned if you pressed with your nails too hard on the screen, maybe then I’ll also buy one
@@Darx97 ye... have to be extra careful when you handle foldable phones... :P
but the last time I tried Fold 2, it was impressive and enjoyable. if you have a chance, try it!
Wasn't expecting to see Mr Clean doing tech reviews on my youtube recommendations, but hey, he encourages good hydration!
At this point it's like zack doesn't even care if the device is still in one piece after a teardown... I loved when most of these videos were a legitimate thorough guide for taking apart the phones
I've had the flip 3 for awhile and love it, yes opening can be a pain but the space you save in your pocket is worth it. I work construction so having a phone that's screen is folded away and not getting pressed on my leg or facing out and getting crushed against any surface I might be pressed against was the biggest plus.
I have a flip 5 and its still acting brand new. No groaning or weirdness with the screen protector / hinge. I love it, still. But I also use the front screen a lot so I don’t really open my phone as much. If I had to open it all the time, I’m sure it would bother me more.
6:29 Uniformly unpigmented 😂😂
12:37 can you make a xray for the Samsung A series (A54?) I would buy 😅😊❤
@JerryRig beautiful... Your depiction of using a folding phone in everyday life was wonderfully done 👍
Glorious teardown! 👍 👍
Waiting for the fold6 test!!!!.
0:09 futuristic huh...

Jerry and the Vapor Chamber of Secrets!
HIS FACE POPPING UP IN THE CAMERA WAS SO FUNNY 😂😂😂 Once a child, we'll always act like one. It's in every human's DNA.....
Stay safe buddy , too much electrolytes will not be kind on your internal organs
are they bad or something? /gen
No expandable storage? Lame.
I don't understand the opening the phone with 2 hands. I personally use the flip 5 and used the flip 3 and I've always loved the one handed opening capability! That being said, Samsung's innovation is never short of incredible. Good teardown!
How are you liking the 5 vs the 3? I'm doing the same switch in a couple of days and am very excited to move to the full cover screen, even if I have to use something like GoodLock to open up the functionality.
I know the cover screen being semi-limited out of the box frustrates some people, but doing some light modding and programming brings me back to the days of jailbreaking my iPhone so I welcome the challenge (especially if I don't have to go so far as rooting!)
@RhymesWithDonna38 I love it!
your intro is the same reasoning in my case for wearing a watch. so tired of pulling out phone and hitting a button to see the time. a watch is vital for me. instant.
Most phones have raise to wake, at least iPhones do so you don’t need to touch any buttons
that's nice. mine probably does too.. but.. I like a watch. less phone use the better off I probably am.. I am actually ok with it. I now like to wear a watch... really like. soon will be "smartwatch" ing. maybe a decent compromise between the two.. and.. just really like having it right there on the wrist... a bit like 007.. tech on the wrist... it's cool. :)
I am an old nerd who likes the idea of computer on the wrist. :)
I agree with you on the Flip line, but the Fold on the other hand... My Fold 5 is amazing for work (IT)
