After watching "12th Fail", it was evident how big of a role Vidhu Vinod Chopra has played in the writing for Hirani films, just how late writer Sujatha has done for Shankar before "I". There's no doubt that these are top-notch directors, but also no denying the fact that the writing plays a big role in their movies.
@@AmartyaRao356Well he is just referring to the movies on the basis of their stories alone! What you're talking is abt how politically incorrect that Shikara movie was, which I completely agree with!
Having recently watched 12th Fail, I am convinced that the Hirani-VVC combo was certainly the miracle formula. Hirani brought the charm and feel-good moments while VVC infused the raw emotional gravitas that made each of their flicks such a magical experience.
Dunki is a good plot, and the movie wasn't bad. But I think this is a difficult story to be packed in 2.3 hrs. You dont get the feel and pain of staying abroad etc. This is good story to be shown as webseries
Unpopular opinion: If a film does well on box office even with flaws, it is not being judged. But even a very good film does not perform in box office, we try to find flaws.
@@abdulquadir56 though the subject of Dunki is good, as a movie it has flaws… I felt Dunki should have shown us more about Dunki traveling than why they want to travel illegally and the life they spent in far away fairyland…
Main problem of brahmstra is directors confusion First he wanted to make a love story named dragon_ a fairy tale and in the middle of shoot he changed his mind and trying put astraverse in it ,and mixed everything and after that mess brahmastra is the result😂😂
Brahmastra failed because of the sole reason of the poor writing!! They should have explored Shiva's psyche more - his fear regarding his powers & how it affects the ones he loves, made Guru's character interesting by giving him the dilemma that whether it is wise for Shiva to know the true potential(as he has immense destructive capabilities - could've made sense then why he was stalling!!), given Isha something substantial(could have been insane if they made her birth something integral to the plot in finding the Brahmastra, and given her powers that resemble the nature of the nurturing mother- Parvati), and obviously made Junoon's origin much more compelling by exploring her connection with Dev(possibly like a surrogate parent-child relationship or someone indoctrinated by Dev to be her servant due his end goal or POV on the powers and their wielders). God, the possibilities were endless!!🥺🤩🔥😔 Hopefully, the sequel sees the light of day!!🤞🤞
The main issue with brahmastra was its love story triangle, there was no emotion the audience feelt with the main leads romantic side, but YJHD did it brilliantly I have watched the movie so many times it still got that repeat value, and another boring factor was its impactless dialogues I wished the makers opted for an intense action, with matured dialogues , putting these factor aside the making and vfx really nice Hope they won't ruin the upcoming parts
I am from Nepal and i know a lot of people who went abroad throug the process of dunki . I have heard their stories from themselves and can tell that Mr Rajkumar hirani did a fantastic job with the research for this movie. The movie as a whole has some issues but i will always appreciate Mr Rajkumar Hirani and Mr Shah Rukh Khan for telling their stories.
Same was with me. I am also from Nepal and had this experience with my mum and brother. I was 9 years old. I cried during the whole movie. I watched this movie in Germany. The whole cinema applauded in the ending. People aren’t connected with this movie cause they don’t had this experience.
I still think dunki wasn't made to be epic It was a sweet and simple tale Hirani could have made it epic But the scale was small 90 cr budget and 30 cr marketing budget The movie was 1000 times better than salaar tho
In Dunki there were two scenes that made me emotional, one was the court scene the other was ending’s big Ben scene… but I felt the same issues that were highlighted in this video
The action sequences of Attack can still be commended but I was unable to emotionally resonate with it, something which Khuda Hafiz 2 excelled at(still scarred that the movie didn't do well😭) Also, is there no one who can utilize Vidyut in the right way, not just regarding action but dramatic stuff? It is frustrating to see his potential go to waste!!!
Khuda Haafiz was solid! A fucking solid film till they randomly wanted to take the climax international! It was so gritty and engaging when it was in India. In those narrow streets, the gang brawls and sheer bloodshed, should have stayed there!
I believe there was some magic effect whenever rajkumar used to collaborate with vidhu vinod chopra. Ever since their combo got separated i felt there was some touch missing in hirani's directorial
This is the first time Hirani made a film not under VVC's house . So ya I agree VVC's inputs would have greatly helped the emotional parts of Dunki and it's clearly evident as you see how 12th fails emotional quotient is way better than that in Dunki
VVC directed last few films - Eklavya - Disaster, Broken Horses- Disaster, Shikhara - Another flop.film and this guy is spinning a narrative that maybe because of his absence the.movie is.not that good 😂😂😂. If Hirani 's next film earns 1000 cr then is magic is back without VVC..people are rush to poke holes in other people's craft at the drop of a hat.

Bhediya had a poor climax which was the main reason why the film didn't do as well. Although the origin story was good but some minutes of kriti's story was really needed
Dunki did it's job brilliantly brother. It isn't like Hirani's other films, where he stressed on common topics. I don't think I have seen the topic Dunki took im almost any other film. There may be very few. The reason you didn't feel anything from it is cause you didn't experience Dunki irl. I did, and cried through the 2nd half remembering those awful times. Watched this movie. And I loved it.
I maybe lying to myself but i really loved at what path hirani chose to tell such story of serious topic and atrocities of dunki people through his lighthearted way of storytelling so that u dont feel too deep heavy but still portray the right emotion at right amount. So as u go out after watching it u feel light hearted. This movie was truly a movie to watch with family by the year end.
I really liked Brahmastra, but the future for the franchise is very doubtful . Especially when Ayan has taken the rights to another studio altogether. Plus Ranbir is doing ramayana and animal 2 , the entire crew is doing other projects . Also even if they shoot it by 2027-28 . The VFX work will take a lot of work which will delay it further
I think they will stop these franchise because animal collections are more when compared to bramhastra most of the Indian productions always look for good roi
Brahmastra has got a lot of issues from a writing stand point but I must say it was one of the best theatre experiences I have had from a Bollywood film since like 2018-19. If only the writing and the immature dialogues would have been fixed, we would have got a film to be remembered for a long time.
They could have increased the runtime more to establish characters better instead of rushing. The unsaid chemistry between Alia and Ranbir was very beautiful. The whole intensity of the visuals were destroyed by the dialogues immediately. Still a very good attempt. It did good business despite unfavorable environment when it was released. It could have done much better business.
@@infogames2724 true animal has best editing than bramhastra we can praise srv skills while Jamal kudu lord Bobby introduction transition shot from ranbir to Bobby
Dunki was a good watch. It was a bit different and hard hitting in terms of storytelling. Yes, they could have showed the gritty donkey journey a bit more for the emotional impact but they showed what exactly happens after successfully getting there. The film is more about what could happen after the journey rather than while doing the journey. Whether it’s worth to take the risk even you might successfully reach there. It could have been a massive hit if not having clash with Salaar. Rather than the movie, everyone was fighting over the screens that time and the box office revenues. This film could easily make 300-350 crs without a clash. Those who really experienced this journey in their own life, they connected to the story.
Absolutely right bro. The problem nowadays with these so called critics is that they want to dictate the film makers that 'what the movie should be' rather than comment on 'how the movie was'.
My problem with Dunk was that why would a patriotic ex-soldier help illegal immigration in the first place. He should know the importance of visas and country security. And why did Hardy go to London in the first place if he never wanted to live there?
There is this idiotic notion that soldiers are a purely patriotic machine like characters and not humans at all. Soldiers do what they do, not just for the country but for their loved ones and they are as human as people can be and they posses those emotions (deeply so due to distance) as a normal human does. So yeah, SRK did what he did for love.
Hirani magic was there in some parts, example is the scene where Hardy meets Balli and confronts him about sending fake pics back home, and then Balli tells him his compulsion. Sadly this was one of only few places where Hirani magic was, most of the movie just didn't work.
not necessarily atleast I am an exception i am really rooting for every Rk and srk movies tbh but i liked brahmastra coz i don't know somehow the cringe or i shall say naive dialogue worked for me it was badly proceeded love stroy bu they didn't show the process of getting in love which worled for me I hope you get my point I amnot fed up by love stories but the lenght of it.@@Daredevil009.1
Jab Harry Met Sejal was a masterpiece with a bad accent of Anushka. Imitiaz's movie will hit you after a while, just like Tamasha, Laila Majnu, etc. It's the audience who was more into SRK romancing girls half of his age but in the story. . Bhediya was a brilliant attempt. It didn't need to have any horror element as It was a werewolf story who was protecting his land. Again, people rejected it. . People who are living abroad can relate to Dunky. It was a good-feel movie. Simple!!!
As you said the problem with attack is that we couldn't connect with character's emotions. They could have taken more time to establish the characters. What is the use of good action sequences if you can't connect with the characters
Idk why most PPL see it that way cos I remember how good the transformation was for John Abraham where unlike most heros he takes time, taking slow his action with his "Jarvis". Their interactions were funny as hell. Science behind it made sense. There was an excellent scene where a burglar breaks into his home and John displays amazing emotions as a helpless man where his mom had to come to his rescue. I thoroughly enjoyed Attack cos of these moments and I felt I totally got the gist of the main lead.
I think the reason for failure of Brahmastra was its editing of both movie and promotional material. If they hadnt revealed much of the money shots in trailer , the film would have been so much better . Like Deva Deva song , imagine we saw that first time in the theatres it would have blown our minds
I think dunki was never about how they took dunki route rather how dunki affected the characters life. But it is true dunki will be more complete without the Raju hirani tag
The longing to go back home however was barely communicated. We went from them getting asylum to them being old instantly. This i believe was the biggest demerit in making that return back home slightly lukewarm vs extremely emotional
@TriedRefusedProductions Since you are an Anupama Chopra chamcha, why don't you make a movie and ask her husband to produce it. Since you have so much knowledge about movies to constantly bash bollywood movies, you could surely come up with a good script in a small budget. I will buy the first ticket because I would want to be emotionally touched by your future highly critically acclaimed movie.
I really do think also, even though I loved the movie, it had it's flaws. If Rajkumar Hirani had just increased the length to 3 hrs 30 minutes, it would've been better.
I think Dunki should hv never started with the characters in their old age. It just took away the feeling of danger while we watched them get to England. Personally, I think vicky kaushal's death should hv been the inciting incident, hardy and manu getting separated at court as the interval. It really didn't help the movie that dunki part of the movie was basically a montage.
I believe that dunki is actually a good film and it's unfair by the audience to expect every hirani film to be as good as or beat three idiots or munna bhai.. A film should be judged for what it is and dunki was definitely funny, entertaining with a message to take back.. That's all one wanted and hirani did give it
I watched the film in the theater and I didn't really like it. I live in the US and the entire moonoligue if visas should be given easily didn't make sense. Why would Hardy, coming from a military background, ever support illegal immigration. He should know the importance of security of a country
I feel, if they ever make a Game (Soulborne game) based in India, Bhramastra can be a phenomenal option. I mean, they had debacle games Like Ra.one, Ghajini and Don 2. Bhramastra can be an amazing Game. But with the gaming standards we have as of now, to make a game like that, Kjo can go in debts
I loved brahmastra. Yes, it does feel like a kids' story with super bad dialogues. Like my ears are still traumatized from listening to those in theatres 😂. But overall, I loved the movie and experience. I am all excited for its sequels, and I believe that Ayan Mukherjee will do a better work with Dev and Amrita's story with excellent VFX, like in part 1.
Bhediya - 2/3 creativity left the project Prithviraj - bad casting plus utter bad director Brhamastra - buycott gang on its peak Dunki - hirani ji srk bharose, srk ji hirani bhrose, kahani raam bharose😅
No matter how underwhelming it is, I'd still rewatch Dunki when it comes out on OTT. The overall underwhelming product wouldn't stop me from revisiting the film. This is the third time where SRK collaborated with celebrated directors after JHMS and Zero, and Dunki is a clear among them tbh. That scene where Manu says goodbye to Hardy and SRK's expression in that moment hit so hard.
Loved your analysis. Brahmastra did really gud at the box office plus I don’t think it went that down, yes the dialogue part but it was a great movie experience for all.
I absolutely loved Bhediya and Attack. Both movies had very fresh concepts with impeccable comic timing. I was surprised by John Abrahams comic timing. I find Attack as one of the best sci-fi actions India has ever created.
Action sequence was really boring to watch man in a freaking action movie due to those cuts and unnecessary slow motion.. if the action was done like his another movie Rocky handsome then it would have been awesome
@@itihasadhikari240 yes! I liked the story was straightforward but the quick cuts and haphazard editing in the action scenes spoiled it for me. Like, rocky handsome had way better editing when it comes to action scenes..
Plus one .. loved Bhediya! And we had caught it in a hall -- everyone in the theater was enjoying it, really.. don't know why it didn't find many takers
Excellent analysis! I recommend please explore cases otherwise as well where weird projects, like the movie "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi,". Initially seemed unlikely to succeed on paper but turned out to be blockbuster hits due to outstanding performances and a compelling screenplay. Seemingly implausible plot of a wife failing to recognize her husband just because of removing mustache and a little hair-do. Yet the film's emotional depth has resonated with audiences, making it a memorable and rewatchable experience for many, myself included. ✨✨🌟🌟
The presentation of the actor is in the director's hands. @Jammy, I liked Bhediya, Brahmastra & Dunki in theatre. Not sure why you always look for a wholesome experience with every movie. Every movie is different.
I think we are not willing to accept something new until it's validated...eg. R.A one people started praising it until they saw something very bad VFX cinema. Similarly emotional scenes are bound to story if you can simply add very emotional scenes in every story that won't survive or connect. Here people are seeing cinema in the lense of critics which was not the case previously.sholey worked after 3-4 weeks it's connected with people. Now people cry good movie are not coming and yet for good movies they don't go to theatre and then jammy will cry this movie deserves to watch
Vikram Vedha, despite being a remake, truly deserved a wider audience. Unfortunately, the marketing efforts fell short at the grassroots level, limiting its reach. The lack of enthusiasm from the makers, possibly due to internal disputes, contributed to a missed opportunity in promoting their own product. This disinterest likely affected the film's overall visibility and reception. Additionally, the choice of the release date played a pivotal role. With the low pricing a week before the official release for everyone movie for one day ( 50rs or 100rs )audiences flocked to theaters, filling them to capacity for that day.A more strategic marketing approach could have amplified the film's impact and garnered the attention it rightfully deserved.
Jo bhi ho, I want Brahmastra 2, also waiting for Stree 2, and more new SRK projects where we see the actor SRK in it, may be a comedy with Raj and DK, a drama with SLB or SRV, a film with Kabir Khan .
We can't really say it was VVC's absence that led to the Dunki not being one of the best of 2023. VVC himself has made poor movies (example being Shikara). I am sure VVC gave creative inputs during the making of other Hirani ventures, but by saying that VVC's absence was the reason behind Dunki not being best we are undermining Hirani the filmmaker. The VVC absence topic has become more prevalent because 12th Fail is an outstanding film. Dunki itself as a topic was so niche that less people could connect with it. Hirani did a few things for the first time in Dunki which he never did before it so I think somehow he missed the mark there. Anyway it has done good business if we see from the budget to gross collection ratio so every stakeholder has made money. ROI to acha hi hai.

Dunki the dunki analysis was too the point accurate. I mean the whole dunki route was hardly a 20 min think while the movie name is "dunki" itself 😂 Also the emotion of "hum apne ghar ja rhe hai" was useless as there wasn't any reason
Dunki was a ambitious project and definitely even Hirani would agree its his weakest . The movie wasnt bad in any way but when compared it will stand nowhere near PK or 3 Idiots ! The audience has loved the movie too specially in abroad. And personally also i think the second half was extremely good and emotional. Dunki route could have been shown more but ofcourse Hirani didn't wanted the movie to lose its family audience. Also the hyping up unnecessarily like its a movie to be watched even more times than 3 Idiots also increased the expectations which it didnt matched.
People who were disappointed by Dunki should check out aaja mezico chaliye( a Punjabi film) the film is essentially what we were expecting from Dunki but done right
In dunki, the court scene should be the last scene and all of them should come back. after interval film should show more problem to all 4 , one might die , all should realise their sadness, lonliness and try to have mixed emotion of going or not to india.
I loved Bhediya when I first watched it. Yes, they should have given more thought to Kriti's origin story and focused on the "Bhediya" part of the movie, rather than presenting only Varun's character as the protagonist. Maybe explored each character before and after interval that culminates into a climax.
I was so hyped for dunki and salaar but when there trailers drop my expectations went downhill. I think its time for makers to realise that only having big budget and starcast doesn't make movie good or outstanding its base core is always story and screenplay also BGM which makes a good movie. I think bahubali, brahmastra, PS1 and 2 where good example of this while delivering good product justifying there budget.
I think Bhediya is just over analyzed. I liked the movie and your comments on developing Kristi’s character and giving a message on the environment is not what this movie is meant to be about. It’s about someone who gets bitten by wolf and the things he does after he transforms into one. This movie delivers it. It’s a short and crisp movie and adding backstories or messages just increases the run time to like 2h 40m and there will be criticism that the movie is long. Besides there weren’t many werewolf movies that has had great characterization it’s meant just to be entertaining with no such message therefore I’m satisfied
Bhediya was a decent/good movie. It doesn't deserve to be in this list.In fact, Bhediya series movies except Roohi were far better than the hits of the year- Pathan, Jawaan, Gadar2.
i rally feel bad for attack because it was genuinely a good action movie in bollywood after a long time but i guess audience here does not desrve these good grounded action movies jhon also tried earlier with rocky handsome and force 2 but result were same

If we see force & force2 they are on point at story level but failed to generated box office eureka… John is really underrated but still I think there is no flaw at attack cause it is fast faced action figure movie!!! It’s fault of audience and also promotional strategy and bad release date! ❤

Attack was good. The action scenes were spoiled due to haphazard cuts, but many shots were good. I was glad that the love story was wrapped up quickly.
Can you make a video on what kind of movies SRK should do next? There are rumors of SRK in talks with directors of different genre/type. You did get it spot on when you said that SRK should come back with either dhoom/spy series/don 3.

Not to hate but if that's true, what would you say happened with Shikara?
So true!
Is it there was a movie released in 2020 by vidhu name as shikara just see how bad that movie is

Dunki is a good plot, and the movie wasn't bad. But I think this is a difficult story to be packed in 2.3 hrs. You dont get the feel and pain of staying abroad etc. This is good story to be shown as webseries
I loved Dunki and Brahmastra. Yes there were some issues with these two. These were really good movie but with some flaws.
Brahmastra should Have been Directed By Karan Malhotra ( Agneepath, Shamshera)
Dunki Should Have been Directed by Dibakar Banerjee
Unpopular opinion: If a film does well on box office even with flaws, it is not being judged. But even a very good film does not perform in box office, we try to find flaws.
True
Exactly.. just like how tried and refused productions treats Pathan and Animal as masterpieces while Dunki being a good movie is considered a bad film
It's true in today's time
@@abdulquadir56 though the subject of Dunki is good, as a movie it has flaws… I felt Dunki should have shown us more about Dunki traveling than why they want to travel illegally and the life they spent in far away fairyland…
Main problem of brahmstra is directors confusion
First he wanted to make a love story named dragon_ a fairy tale and in the middle of shoot he changed his mind and trying put astraverse in it ,and mixed everything and after that mess brahmastra is the result😂😂
I hear the story was vastly different initially!!
The 😂 reason dragon was the main lead was associated with fire that is the reason so dragon and fire are connected

God, the possibilities were endless!!🥺🤩🔥😔 Hopefully, the sequel sees the light of day!!🤞🤞
The main issue with brahmastra was its love story triangle, there was no emotion the audience feelt with the main leads romantic side, but YJHD did it brilliantly I have watched the movie so many times it still got that repeat value, and another boring factor was its impactless dialogues
I wished the makers opted for an intense action, with matured dialogues , putting these factor aside the making and vfx really nice
Hope they won't ruin the upcoming parts

Dunki was not Hirani’s best work but it was definitely a good film which has great recall value.
The point of the video is to highlight the problems and why it essentially developed mixed responses.
Same was with me. I am also from Nepal and had this experience with my mum and brother. I was 9 years old. I cried during the whole movie. I watched this movie in Germany. The whole cinema applauded in the ending. People aren’t connected with this movie cause they don’t had this experience.

I still think dunki wasn't made to be epic
It was a sweet and simple tale
Hirani could have made it epic
But the scale was small
90 cr budget and 30 cr marketing budget
The movie was 1000 times better than salaar tho
i dont get why it was not made into one? they had all the time and money and was lazy to write? or did raju hirani really missed VVC
@@TriedRefusedProductions I agree that the Dubai detour was unnecessary but the audience didn't even gave it a chance, which breaks my heart 🥺💔
I believe there was some magic effect whenever rajkumar used to collaborate with vidhu vinod chopra. Ever since their combo got separated i felt there was some touch missing in hirani's directorial
I THINK HE ESPECIALLY HAD A HOLD ON THE EMOTIONAL CHORD. Something that just went missing in Dunki (other than Vicky's well acted sub plot)
Vidhu vinod Chopra was the screenplay director in 3 idiots. Need I say more 😅
Bhediya had a poor climax which was the main reason why the film didn't do as well.
I have true believe in brahmastra 2 because only dialogue was the issue that happened in 1st part and ayan always has an habit of improving himself
Lighthearted way?? Ppl were being shot down, nd protagonists were burning themselves alive instead of applying 4 visit visa..hw was that lighthearted😂
The release of brahmastra 2 was announced by Ayan himself and it was dec 2026 and after war 2 Ayan would focus on brahmastra only
Ranbir said it will go on floors by the end of 2024
Yeah, I have a feeling this ain't happening. Even though we would love for it to happen!
Brahmastra has got a lot of issues from a writing stand point but I must say it was one of the best theatre experiences I have had from a Bollywood film since like 2018-19. If only the writing and the immature dialogues would have been fixed, we would have got a film to be remembered for a long time.
I AGREE 100%
Even with editing many crazy moments where too fast
They could have increased the runtime more to establish characters better instead of rushing. The unsaid chemistry between Alia and Ranbir was very beautiful. The whole intensity of the visuals were destroyed by the dialogues immediately. Still a very good attempt. It did good business despite unfavorable environment when it was released.
According to jammy that movie should cross 800 cr to be a ood movie
The film already made 450 crores worldwide with a clash.
My problem with Dunk was that why would a patriotic ex-soldier help illegal immigration in the first place. He should know the importance of visas and country security. And why did Hardy go to London in the first place if he never wanted to live there?
for Manu, LOUUUVE
There is this idiotic notion that soldiers are a purely patriotic machine like characters and not humans at all. Soldiers do what they do, not just for the country but for their loved ones and they are as human as people can be and they posses those emotions (deeply so due to distance) as a normal human does. So yeah, SRK did what he did for love.
@TriedRefusedProductions for love he would do illegal dunki, crossing boundaries illegally bt wunt seek asylum to stay with his love.
Hirani magic was there in some parts, example is the scene where Hardy meets Balli and confronts him about sending fake pics back home, and then Balli tells him his compulsion.
Sadly this was one of only few places where Hirani magic was, most of the movie just didn't work.

I am still hyped for Brahmastra 2, becoz Brahmastra was one of best theatre experience💯❤
It didn't live up to it
@MayaSol71 that's what I said if the film didn't have Raju hirani tag, everyone's perception would have been different towards the film
That's all one wanted and hirani did give it
Yes even I enjoyed the film at theater
I watched the film in the theater and I didn't really like it. I live in the US and the entire moonoligue if visas should be given easily didn't make sense. Why would Hardy, coming from a military background, ever support illegal immigration. He should know the importance of security of a country

Maybe it's because I'm from Arunachal Pradesh but I loved Bhediya. (Maybe it's because we don't really get represented in any form in other parts of India.)
I mean bollywood is North Indian industry.... It will represent north india only . That's why South India has their own industry .... Similarly other states . I think North -east Indians should also make their own industry..... It will help other people to understand their cultures..... Maybe it will gain popularity like South Indians are getting.
The majority of people do know about north east india.... Especially in 2024 .
I loved Bhediya .. totally enjoyed the movie ..
@@Aradhaya45720 I get what you are saying and you are not wrong.
But the fact of the matter is that we are not as developed as other parts of India, we became a state in 1987 and the other film industries you are referring to is older than my state. Moreover we only have like 15 movie theatre in the whole state so even if we make movies they don't earn their money back and our movie making knowledge/technical ability is very low.
P.s. I know other states are not obligated to make a movie about us. All I'm saying is when I see myself get represented in Indian movies it makes me happy.
We took our toddler to watch Brahmastra and the day after she spoke for the first time. Her first word was Shiva.
I think bhediya had the bestt genz humour
Dunki the dunki analysis was too the point accurate.
I mean the whole dunki route was hardly a 20 min think while the movie name is "dunki" itself 😂
Also the emotion of "hum apne ghar ja rhe hai" was useless as there wasn't any reason
Bhediya was one of the best 3D movie I ever seen.....3D effects were amazing.....i enjoyed a lot
I totally enjoyed the movie too !! And the VFX was top notch!!
Bhediya was a decent movie considering it was a part 1 of a franchise. The vfx, story telling and aesthetics was decent.
Totally agree ..
Bhediya was a decent/good movie. It doesn't deserve to be in this list.In fact, Bhediya series movies except Roohi were far better than the hits of the year- Pathan, Jawaan, Gadar2.
Dunki was one of the best movies of 2023.
i rally feel bad for attack because it was genuinely a good action movie in bollywood after a long time but i guess audience here does not desrve these good grounded action movies jhon also tried earlier with rocky handsome and force 2 but result were same
Finally, waited so long for this!!
I think attack is the amazing action movie with no dum subplots and on the point action packed thriller.. but it’s highly underrated though.. If we see force & force2 they are on point at story level but failed to generated box office eureka… John is really underrated but still I think there is no flaw at attack cause it is fast faced action figure movie!!!
It’s fault of audience and also promotional strategy and bad release date! ❤
But I love dunki so much.
Yes Dunki is not like 3 idiots or pk but It's a very good movie.
I think Akshay Kumar was not at fault in Prithviraj. Its Director's job to atleast give good look and body to his hero. If then hero do bad acting then its his problem. Imagine Ranbir kapoor got simple look in animal it would not get same effect.
30 din mein director kya ukhaad lega?
@@stevewhite6241 lol Akshay Kumar ne bade miyan chhote miyan movie me 120 din diye hai abhi dekhna kesi movie aati he next eid me... Wo director ka kam hota he usko kesi body or look chahiye... Rowdy Rathore me kesi jabardast body banai thi akki ne. Akki pahle nahi bolta ki me 30 din hi kam karunga
Honest opinion-All you film critics are boomers or millenial and me being a non south delhi/bombay gen-z connected with naivity or in your words cringe dialogues becoz maybe ayan is targetting teens and young ones of same age bracket as me (13-20). You all wanted a love story getting developed or feeling organic but I being naive wanted it exactly the wy it went i.e. the are already in love and are grown up so no waste in developing and straight to story I can feel it as the seqel which released first and second part giving the reasoning . I really fed with the simple, predictable yet visually good story and have a lot of expectations from sequels coz it is probably the best and biggest sc fi universe we have got .(being honest I don't have hopes from kalki due to the male lead even though visuals look good)
even the boy who played prithviraj in serial had more dedication for the character then akshay...also his acting was💞🙌
Including dunki and speaking of it in same breadth as flops like prithviraj and others seems like a disservice or rathwr an intetnional dissing of a film which is still running in theatres...every film would have some issues here and there ..but including it here as if saying its a flop doesnt seem right to me especially when the other film released with it was as much of a disappointment or even more..😮
Jammy, please do check out parking-Tamil movie, it will truly make you marvel at what a film with no stars can do, I was seriously just mind blown by the direction! Really would like hear a separate video on this masterpiece!!!!
For me Dunki has to be the weakest Rajkumar Hirani Film.
The thumbnail answers all the questions
Except Prithviraj, all the movies you mentioned are actually very good. Just because their box office collection is less, doesn't make them any less of a good movie.
But Dunki made 450 crores for a budget of 120 crores. How is this collection less??
Attack was good. The action scenes were spoiled due to haphazard cuts, but many shots were good. I was glad that the love story was wrapped up quickly.
Can you make a video on what kind of movies SRK should do next? There are rumors of SRK in talks with directors of different genre/type. You did get it spot on when you said that SRK should come back with either dhoom/spy series/don 3.
3 Idiots: Define Machine
Dunki: Define Language
3 Idiots: Start with a phone call, and then the story moves to the past
Dunki: Same
3 Idiots: Hero left college, and they meet at the end
Dunki: Same
I find similarities in PK and Sanju also. I think the director believes he has a hit formula; he just needs to use different actors, a social issue, and make money.
Tell me what you guys think about this.
