I've tried doing and I can see a huge difference in my stamina and output, the last couple videos about you punching the heavy bag for 3min and the jump rope video sprints for Boxing. It worked great! And you're getting better and better as a coach, youtuber and of course, boxer
Did this stuff since i saw golovkin doing so, going from 0.5kgs to 2kgs max and extending week after week the time under tension and the range of exercises too. You'll notice obviously more stamina but most important thing you stimulate a lot of blood flow which strengthens all the small tendons and ligaments in shoulder blades, rotator cuff, tricep and wrist. Do it twice a week and you'll absorb heavybag impacts more safely, expecially if you reach that strong level of punching power. Go slow, build the volume and feel the BURN!

I’m an ex boxer. Now 51 years old 5’8” and 205lbs. Last fought 25 years ago at 152lbs. Would like to weigh around 165. Have hiatus hernia so cannot hit heavy bag any more as impact pushes hernia open so these hand weighted shadow boxing sessions are great. I combine these with skipping and then finish with 3 x 1m dumbbell curls and shoulder presses both to failure and fast whilst seated. On alternate days I’ve started running. I will get there. Thanks for your help.
Good job coach, definitely very helpful to improve power and speed! Do you guys also use elastic bands to shadow box? If yes, do you see any benefits? 💪🏼

Jay, I am 5'8 145lb, and found this to be good for warm up using 2lb and 3lb dumbbells (as in I do not find this too taxing). What speed/power drills do you have for intermediate level? For example, do you have a drill that would increase speed and power, without sacrificing defense? I notice that with these dumbbell exercises, I don't pull my right hand back to my face as well, but instead letting them hang out there, which is a bad habit.Thank you.

How can I make my right hand stronger like when I punch it’s weak like I don’t hit hard with that hand but my left hand I punch hard so what can I do to get my right hand to punch harder
