If you use a cream hand cleaner without any grit, you can apply a small amount to your hose connections and it will help the hose slip on easier. It dissolves without any residue

w garcia just an fyi, Vortech now owns Paxton. I've had almost all of them. The Novi and V series are almost identical. I run a procharger now. but I'm looking for a low mileage 1993 hatchback to put my YSI on.

I installed one of these over a weekend on the garage floor in Michigan when it was 0 degrees out. First time I had the car out, the water pump mounted mechanical fan broke and took out the radiator and hoses. After I replaced all that stuff (cheap as heck on a Fox), I drove it for about a week until I blew the motor. I sold the whole car for a little more than I paid for the blower kit. The end.

Im looking at the kit similar to this one but its the self lubricated supercharger with 5-6lbs of boost. What spark plugs would you recommend that kit and with gt40x heads and also if I have a smog delete will that change how I put the alternator on the supercharger bracket? Thanks.

sounds like you have idle issues. Maybe raise the idle speed until it smooths out on startup. I had those hard starts on my trick flow kit. raised idle to 950 and it starts and idles like stock only higher idle speed

That looks like a lot of rinky tink annoying work. I'd like to see the On3 installed to see what it's like comparatively. I hate jobs like this cause since you have the accessories off the front you might as well change the water pump and upgrade tha damper and while you have that off you might as well change the cam and while you have that out you might as well change the valve seals and rockers and since you have those off it'd be a good time for a better head swap and since...

Honestly most of this video is installing the FMU and pusher pump. You don't need a pusher pump if you run something like an Aeromotive 340 in the tank, and you definitely don't need a FMU if you run 60 lb injectors and a standalone ECU and tune. The second part of the video - installing the head unit, charge pipe and belt drive - is only 5 minutes long. Self-contained centrifugal superchargers are pretty much the most simple way to run any sort of forced induction.

Those baseline numbers were horrible with that intake and head and cam should have been around 300-325+wheel. I’ve seen stock gt 40 headed and explorer manifold and a B cam make better than this thing like 290 wheel using stock ford parts.

those are not decent numbers for all the aftermarket parts it's has on it! there is easily 3500 dollars worth of parts on it! so 30 hp for that is far from decent! that car came from the factory with 225 hp dead stock. I was getting 260 with my 1993 with just an intake kit, header back exhaust! when I put aluminum heads and elderbrook intake, I was at 348. there is something serious wrong with this car or tuner! I then added a V1 A-Trim and the car made 430. And that was on 6 lbs. I then switched to a ATI p600b and at 12 lbs I was at 520.
