So many launches! And that supercharger whine and exhaust is awesome and obnoxious. : ) It's amazing that there is a 707 hp SUV that you can daily drive with all the luxuries and not make any sacrifices for comfort or convenience.

Incredible that there is an suv with over 700bhp. That's seems more crazy than when the Veyron was launched about 10 years ago. This has less power but its a frickin suv! It doesn't look like it should have that power.

Thanks for the shout out! I’ve had a Legmaker Intake on for a few months now. It’s way more pleasing to the ear. I think the factory exhaust is perfect, quiet down low, like an angry Wookie up top; I’m not touching it.
SRT brakes are red, only Trackhawks get the yellow, and the callipers and discs are bigger.
I usually leave the transmission in automatic. Like you said, it’s great on it’s own. I turned the shift lights back on and set them points like Yuri did, which did make the paddles a viable option. Great review, as an owner, I’d say it’s fair and balanced.
Intake does not void warranty correct?
@@convex7456 Most likely not. Dealers are usually pretty relaxed about mods and use common sense. If by chance your dealer is a mod nazisl you could swap the stock air box back in, intakes take like 5 minutes to install.
I used to work at a toyota dealer and I have asked a bunch of other dealerships. Most say as long as its bolt ons your good and upgrading suspension won't affect your engines warranty.
I can confirm that. I work a Mazda dealership and we work on modified cars all the time! We just charge 10 dollars more on our diagnostic fee compared to non modified cars. We've never had a problem with warranty!!!

There is actually a federal law that prohibits dealers from trying to void warranties for having aftermarket accessories. Unless they can prove that the add on caused a specific problem to damage the vehicle, they have no leg to stand on.

The Jeep Trackhawk is great but I could not justify the extra 40,000$ for the engine (6.2L supercharged vs 6.4L not supercharged) and a few cosmetic difference , so I went for the Jeep SRT. I just love it. Lost 232hp but gained 40,000$ ;)

The 40K makes sense because, 10 years from now, everyone will want this, not the SRT. This will depreciate a lot less.

And i love the gearbox, it is quite smoth when you drive relaxed and if you go full throttle it changes gears so fast. Best mix i‘ve ever driven.

No kidding that these things are sleepers. I was on my sportbike last night and all of a sudden I hear a supercharger whine to my right. I was NOT expecting it to be a Jeep lol. Picked up so quick. Love it.

Update- watched the SVR video and it's so good looking and exhaust is almost perfect, but it's really quite different to the Track Hawk. I think I'd still have the Jeep though- for the sleeper quality and the supercharged whine
As I get older I have a deep appreciation for fast SUV's, sedans, wagons.

From owning Chrysler products, you have to hit the shift 500 rpm earlier than you think you should. The lag from the paddles is insane, but “shifting early” actually shifts right where you would want.
I hope that makes sense.

These sport SUVs seems awesome I still feel like you had more fun in the E 63s wagon though :)
I do use the shift light i thought something was wrong as well, what I learned is this, my SRT can be left at the factory 6k rpm shift being naturally aspirated. The Track hawk being supercharged seems like the engine revs up way faster so I was hitting the rev limiter as well. You guy's did right all you can do is shift sooner, if you try to hit 6k rpm you will hit the limiter.

I prefer the Trackhawk over the RR SVR ironically because its probably more reliable. FCA rarely wins any reliability contests but this one it has a chance. This despite the fact that the RR is better off-road and has that air suspension. I was never a fan of the RR body style. The Grand Cherokee is getting old but still looks better IMO.

Great video. The Trackhawk is my pick and the reliability has been 100% on the entire vehicle for over 44k . Astonishing considering the power and performance this vehicle offers.

The Trackhawk for me. RR SVR wins on interior, but the TH looks great, flies under the radar, and is probably a lot more reliable

Well I owned a 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR and in 2 months it broke down 3 times the 3rd time I rejected it back and baught a Trackhawk in the UK.
Adam negative I would take a trackhakk first but I will say Porsche Cayenne has the best interior

Sick! You guys are my favorite reviewers! Funny though the Mercedes GLC63 S AMG does 0-60 in 3.2 seconds (Motor Trend numbers) and the Trackhawk does it in 3.3 seconds 😳.
Tyler Hampton much smaller car. What’s funny is the grand Cherokee is based on the Mercedes ML. Put the drivetrain in the ml and the trackhawk will gap it. The GLC is hardly an suv. It’s like a wagon with more ride height.
You really think .1 sec is gonna matter the trackhawk will kill it regardless
