What’s wrong with a warranty? You seem like the type of person who made fun of people in school for getting good grades
It wouldn't be smart simply because Carmax would 100% sell it back to you for WAY more than they paid you for it.. Also the warranty is 5 year 125,000 or 150,000 miles I think. You'd get cheated out of your money hard core. Trust me I 100% guarantee Carmax has blocked almost all the loop holes.. that's why they low ball almost always on their appraisals.. You'd have lots of miles by the time your warranty expires or you'd never drive the car then you'd most likley never use the warranty which is waisting money on something you're not using.. THINK ABOUT IT.

Somehow I missed this video but glad I saw it now. It puts such a smile on my face to see such a crazy vehicle and it all makes sense. I would absolutely buy one of these over a Challenger or Charger Hellcat due to the fact you can put the power down anytime you want. Hellcats even Scat packs are stupid in the sense they have no traction. I own a Scat pack and it's annoying if you want to leave a light with any kind of throttle, it just barks the tires in an embarrassing way.
I just saw one on the road for the first time, and it had upgraded exhaust! Oh my goodness!! I can't stop thinking about how amazing it sounded!!

You'd only get 480 miles because you'd run out of wheel time while filling the tank for the 3rd time :)
to be fair a lot of car engines already run their minimal break in hours at the shop so 500 miles on top of that isn't the minimum but a bit above wich is nice indeed, for me personally i would be like a little kid getting some icecream when that launch control unlocks haha!
Forgot to mention that this car is so powerful, you can not launch it from over 3500 rpms cause the brakes can not hold it back. OMG TRACKHawk is the ultimate SUV. Also loving the car reviews Doug.

One thing is for sure. As far as the horsepower wars go; this thing ends the discussion. It reminds me of the snowmobile horsepower wars and in 93, Arctic Cat ended the discussion forever with the Thundercat. The only thing they did after that was to tune it down.

PorscheSweden you know it's funny I have a 20 year old Jeep Grand Cherokee and it's lasted me well over 200k miles, still running to this day, I think a cars reliability depends a lot on the owner of the vehicle so, people that abuse cars, and yes that applies to Jeeps because they count as cars, then it's not so much of the fault of the car but the owner of the car. If that makes sense. Take care of your shit, and your shit will take care of you
I owned a 2017 hellcat for 3 years, sold for incoming c8, I rented one of these in Vegas, somehow didnt feel nearly as fast as hellcat, heavier and also top heavy, cool..but wasnt nearly same experience, hellcat manual too tho.
We love ours. This video here is one of the things that talked me into wanting one even more lol.

The review is very good overall, but there was one part that was misleading. Not on purpose, but when he talks about the household outlet in the rear and how you can plug in a microwave or toaster, thats not entirely true. The maximum wattage of the outlet isnt nearly high enough to power appliances like those. It says 150 watts on the outlet, a toaster will require upwards of 700 for most models. Most microwaves are 800-1300 watts. Not knocking the review, just dont want people to be misled.
You can plug it in, it just won't work :)

Doug couldn't have known what was coming in the vehicle marketplace. I searched for a Trackhawk within 100 miles. The cheapest one I found was a black 2018. Original sticker was $96,000, they were asking $78,000 with 45,000 miles. I think
we are going to have to wait a while before any type of normal depreciation kicks in.
Great review (as always) but I'm still curious what the fuel milage is. Ya know, 2 stop lights per gallon . . . or 3? My stock Durango with a 318 gets a whopping 11 MPG combined. So . . . Doug: "I want one of these." Well, perhaps if you inherit an oilfield in Texas, you can afford to buy it and feed it at the same time?
