The Hennessey Jeep Trackhawk HPE1000 has More Power than a Bugatti Veyron!

- The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is already verging on being silly, but with the full HPE1000 package from Hennessey Performance you're now looking at an SUV with over 1,000 horsepower! What could be better then, than to drive it flat out on a runway to experience what it's capable of.
The HPE1000 brings the figures up to 1,026hp (1,012bhp) and 1,314nm (969lb-ft) from the stock Jeep Trackhawk that has 717hp (707bhp) and 875nm (645lb-ft). This is through the use of a 4.5l supercharger at 14psi of boost bolted to the 6.2l V8 that's found in the Dodge Hellcat (both Charger and Challenger). Thanks to an all wheel drive system that means it can run 0-60mph in just 2.7 seconds (3.5 seconds stock) and complete a quarter-mile in a mere 10.7 seconds... in an SUV! The numbers are boggling, as is the sheer level of entertainment driving it.
When you think about it, this is a family car with more power than a Bugatti Veyron and faster down a drag strip than many supercars - it doesn't add up! A thanks to Hennessey for the opportunity to visit, take a drive, and see their location in Texas.

Hennessey is great at marketing his brand, but his product sucks. His vehicles make big power, but very unreliable. Just look at his BBB reviews and you will see why.

You're absolutely right, there's no other way to explain how quick that car is, the sound of the supercharger and the exhaust is unbelievable. What an incredible experience you had around Hennessey´s private track to drive the car!!!

Jeep! Incredible vehicles. I drive a 2002 Cherokee with the inline six cylinder 4.0 engine. Truly a fantastic ride. It's a street SUV. Not four wheel drive. Jeep is the real deal. Wish I could own the 1000hp Jeep! Great video. Thanks.

The great thing about this car is it honestly doesn't seem hard to drive, sure it's scary but it's not like a 1000hp Supra or R34, it just seems like the perfect family sleeper car

The HPE1000 builds on the already lunatic trackhawk making the car go over the board. The car is almost like a halo car for the Jeep brand. the exhaust and the supercharger whine is purely amazing and with the combination of the extreme practicality the car becomes one of the perfect allrounders which is what I love. Another great video Shmee. When is the 600LT coverage coming Shmee?. Shquad!!!!

i always have had good luck with jeeps. just bought a 2020 gladiator and gave the wife my grand cherokee overland. I really miss it now. the gladiator is a needed truck not a wanted truck for me. this HPE1000 is just insane. Already know someone who will try to buy one lol.

it has twice the perfomance, if you have enough power to launch a 3 tonne 4x4 off the line faster that some super cars, and able to drift it, i would call that fun. that's my opinion, you are entitled to yours.

Very cool. Hope you get to show a couple other cars that Hennessey has as well. Some interesting comparisons between the stock Trackhawk and the Land Rover SVR.
Now if on Jeep would take it a few steps further and put it on a serious diet, add an optional lightweight carbon seat interior, carbon lift gate etc

the great thing about American cars is that they are very well built, they have great interior, and exterior style, as well as unreal tech for the money. they are a fraction of the cost of imports, yet really are much better cars in many cases. I absolutely love my Dodge Durango. Equally nice is the Chevy Traverse, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the GMC Arcadia, and the Ford Explorer. And for sports cars, the Camaro, Mustang, Challenger, and Corvette. Also many wonderful Cadillacs and Buicks and Lincolns. Perhaps not to "Supercar" or "Hypercar" status, but these cars still have insane power beyond what you can even use, and wonderful comfort, handling, and supreme audio, leather, and many high tech luxuries beyond imports, for a fraction of the cost.
