  • I Install the Dimsport Rapid Bike Evo fuel module to help control the fueling and to stop it from leaning out from the installation of the new exhaust, and the results are surprising.
    After the initial install I realised that there had to be a better location for the unit and you will find that in part 2, which is towards the end of this video.

    Rapid Bike sell a bypass plug that goes in place of the main module. It allows the bike to operate like the rapid bike system isn't there without removing the add on wiring harness. Handy for diagnosing any issues.

    Thank's for the video, very helpfull,
    Can you give me some information on the base map that come with the rapid bike evo, it is done for the stock setup or for a bike with decat and no baffle ?

    • @koalakoncepts
      @koalakoncepts  8 місяців тому +2

      It picks up that you have a decat and adjusts. I take the baffle in and out depending on where Im going and it adjusts itself no problems.

    but I can say that the consumption was adjusted according to the on-board computer from 5.3/100km. at 4.6/100km. so it probably works in some way... perhaps it is now safer for the engine than without dimsport. do you think i can drive like this without any worries? your opinion…

    • @koalakoncepts

      It does constantly adjust, ive done 12000km since ive put mine in and has worked great.

    sorry, maybe I'm already annoying ..but do they also shoot you in the exhaust sometimes? I should take it as normal... because it's an open exhaust... I suppose. and thank you for your time and patience

  • @minondrejka

    hi bro 🙋🏻‍♂️, I installed my dimsport.. but the problem is not solved.. do you think it can be caused by the fact that I have an OEM air filter and it does not let in as much air as it needs a new exhaust setup?
    so far I have done approx. 40 km, but when I close the gas it shoots a little... and sometimes under the gas, when I reveal through the quickshifter, it shoots so that it takes power for a second…
    Thank you for your opinion

    • @koalakoncepts
      @koalakoncepts  Місяць тому

      That is possible, you will still get a bit of a crackle every now and then, if your not running a fully open exhaust, there will still be a fair bit of back pressure as well.

    • @koalakoncepts
      @koalakoncepts  3 місяці тому +1

      @giovannipisu1883 Is the bike and muffler fully warmed up. Its normal to get a few little pops if its not fully warmed up. But id suggest taking it for a decent ride so it can calibrate.

    hello, I would like to ask you what it means that it does not support traction control.. does it mean that the traction control no longer works while it is connected?
    does it not indicate any error on the display? quickshifter is working well with it?
    and is it necessary that I also order the usb cable? or it just connects and starts working by itself. thank you for your reply.. you make perfect and helpful videos

    • @koalakoncepts
      @koalakoncepts  2 місяці тому +1

      Everything on the bike works as it should it only controls fuel mapping. It can controls quickshift on other bikes that dont have quickshift. If you order the one for the desert x. It comes with the usb cable.

      @@koalakoncepts thanx ...but when I filled out the order on the website, I was asked if I also wanted to buy a USB cable from €45... and if I don't order it and I won't be there... is it really decided to connect it to the PC as you also connected it in the video before the first use? or you did it just for a test

    • @koalakoncepts
      @koalakoncepts  2 місяці тому

      @minondrejka I got mine through the Australian distributor, so not sure what website your going through. You dont have to connect it to usb, if it comes with the desert x tune preloaded. I just did it to test, but can now receive constant updates from rapid tune.

      @andrejplenkovic3296 Depends how hard and where im riding, its not something I keep super accurate records of. I mainly just look at how much fuel I have and distance to the next station.

      Definitely not getting 500km per tank unless you have aux tanks as well. I mean literally about 300-500 millilitres per tank better.
