To the person who asked the first question about Ke Huy Quan going back to his original name, thank you !! The struggle with growing up with a foreign name in North America is real. Being a "Huy" myself, it was very difficult. It wasn't until I realized (around when I was 8 years old) that the Asian kid in Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom also had "Huy" in his name was when I felt, "hey, Huy is a normal name, someone famous also has it!". I was already in awe of seeing a familiar face on the big screen but KNOWING he was also a "Huy" really made Ke Huy Quan one of my childhood heroes. I'm 43 years old now and I'm still in awe of everything that this man has and IS accomplishing.

It's almost as if I'm celebrating with him. Congrats to him *and* to Brendan Fraser. Now the Encino Man has his golden statue, too. What inspiring comeback stories!
Ke really embodied the attitude of Waymond. The amount of positive energy from Ke is unreal! I felt like I had a pair of googly eyes on me while listening to Ke speak about his past, humility and importance of embracing your roots. Congratz to you for winning your Oscars.

I don’t normally watch the Oscar’s, and people don’t really like the Oscar’s anyway cause it’s so woke these days. But I really enjoyed this years show. Ke and Brendan are two actors that truly deserves this recognition. They’re both great, pure, down to earth souls who deserve the best of everything.
