Same but I love both because I'm Native American myself. And surprisingly, Lily Gladstone was the first Native American to ever be nominated for an academy award. I loved Michelle Yeoh’s win last year and I’m very happy for Emma’s win, this year! I’m just saying, movie roles from genre films often gets overlooked at awards shows, in favor for the more “prestigious” dramatic performances, and it gets pretty stale overtime to see the same type of roles win every single year. So it’s a pleasant surprise to a few “genre” type roles get nominated or win. (Natalie Portman for “Black Swan”, Robert Downey Jr. for “Tropic Thunder”, Daniel Kaluuya for “Get Out”, Maria Bakalova for “Borat”, and Michelle Yeoh” for “Everything, Everywhere, All At Once”.

A black woman won a *supporting* award this year.
The last black woman to win a **leading** award was Halle Berry, 22 YEARS ago.
Hollyweird/Oscars has ‘diversity/inclusion’ but heaven forbid someone not lily-white win too many leading awards.@@jedijones

Alright don't come after Emma Stone, she was overwhelmed, she didn't snub Michelle Yeoh. She at least looked at Michelle and turned around one last time to thank her. But Robert Downey Jr tho.. that was hard to watch. Ke was so happy to give him the award and he just completely ignores him and faces away. Not even a single look when he grabbed the trophy. Lack of class and common decency he has shown in that moment.

So true... And no one is giving crap to him, while Emma was called a racist. I mean... It's clear AF that there was confusion in that Moment, Michelle had to tweet about it to calm down all the specs... But why nobody talked about RDJ behavior? I don't wanna think he was racist but, full of himself for sure... That's not even news, I know. Ps: he makes me laugh, I like him as an actor, I love that "full of himself" attitude IN THE RIGHT CONTEST, here was unnecessary... I felt so bad for Ke Huy Quan😢 he's also a sweet and decent person. Can't watch that speech anymore

Instant tears the moment she said:
"...and most importantly, my daughter. Who is going to be 3 in 3 days, and has turned our lives Technicolor. I love you bigger than the whole sky, my girl."
