I have watched several tutorials on this stitch and it always looked hard. Then I watch yours and you make it seem so easy! I will definitely be doing something with this stitch!
Crystal this is GORGEOUS! I LOVE C2C! I don't know why I've never thought to do a shawl with it. I made a bunch of scarves to sell at my son's school's holiday bazaar after watching your scarf tutorial a while back then thought to try a blanket. TIP: On the turning chain 6, Chain 3, hold that chain, chain "4-5-6", yarn over, go into the chain you're holding, yarn over & complete the DC
Definitely going to make this shawl. Crystal, you are a born teacher, so clear and patient in your instructions. Thank you for your willingness to share your talent with us and to teach us how to do what you do so beautifully❤🙏
Thank you Crystal! I have been teaching my sister in law how to crochet and she followed me doing the C2C pattern, it was funny that she mentioned that she could probably make a shawl from the pattern and you gifted us with the exact video. Bless you, you must have heard us or have a little bird that told you. 💜
Very, very pretty, love the colors. It's amazing the things you make for all of us. Deeply appreciated. What would we do without you. You deserve to reach one million, believe me. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Love it!!! Another great tutorial!!! Tfs your knowledge with all of us. You have so many tutorials of some fantastic patterns that you offer up for free. You're so generous and amazing. You're the best. Stay safe 💜👋
I love this stitch! I make graphgans with it. I have even figured out how to create an automatic border when you make blankets. Tip: three rows of the same color, creates A row of hearts. 🥰🥰
Charming Hammonds Thank you for your tip on the border. I'm making quite a large c2c blanket at the moment. Do you mean to use the same colour of wool or a contrast wool for the last 3 rows of the blanket to make the border but still using the c2c stitch for this heart border.? I'm using a variegated wool for my large c2c so I could still do a plain wool for the border if it saves me doing a seperate border. Love from Ireland xxx
@@annmariemurphy9432 I make four equal triangles, and I sew them together. The last row that you crochet becomes your border. There is also no need to decrease.
@@Takes12know124 Thank you very much for replying to me. Very much appreciated. Mother of God I'd never have thought of making equal triangles and sewing them together. Tis very smart ye are. Wish I'd known that before I started this one. So much logic to yours. Mine is 72" wide and 84" length it's for my granddaughter just recently married. I'll do your way from now on. You should be on you tube with your excellent tips. Hope loads see your brilliant tip. Love from Ireland xxx
@@annmariemurphy9432 I wish I could send A picture. I just recently finished A king sized one for my great nephew. I made it big enough for him to grow into it,lol. He's almost two. The stripes represent his birthday. "No matter if the sky is grey or blue, you will be wrapped in love." The main colors are surrounded by three rows of white. It looks like hearts. I just finished one with for my new great nephew. The stripes represent his birthday, and how much he weighed at birth. That's how I personalize them. The stripes tell A story. 🥰🥰
Hi Crystal, just a short message to say I am so glad that I have found your channel. You are such a great teacher, and explain crotchet really well, thank you. I am now making your corner to corner shawl and it is so easy. It is so relaxing to do. Thanks again
I Love the C2C stitch, Thank You for this tutorial. I was looking to make my mother in law a shawl for Christmas, and you just solved by pattern, Thanks Again!!
Thank you Chrystal for sharing this with us, I've always been a bit Intimidated by the corner to corner pattern but you have broken it down so beautifully I think I will try it again. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you very much for your video!! My first time attempting C2C on the shawl and you made me learn it with ease. 🤗. I can’t wait to finish the shawl & do a few more. Thank you!! 😊
True story, I was making a C2C blanket for my father-in-law for Christmas while watching this tutorial. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day today to make this tutorial. I've love the broaches you use on your finished items.
When I seen this was a C2C project I almost didn't watch it but I said oh well what can it hurt ... it didn't hurt anything .. matter of fact it think it helped ... I've been crocheting for awhile now and this just seemed so impossible but by golly I think I got it ... remember to stay safe and stay blessed
I do know how to C2C, and love doing it, but if your tutorial had been the first one I watched, I’d have learned it a lot faster than I did! I love how you keep demonstrating further into the project before the camera stops rolling!
Hi Crystal, I’ve always wanted to learn how to crochet the c2c stitch, thank you so very much for sharing, my sisters and I are making lap throws for the men and shawls for the women at a local nursing home and this shawl looks like the perfect one, thanks again Crystal lots of love to you and your family, I pray that you and your beautiful family have a blessed day🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶
I 💕 the fall colors in the shawl. I enjoy your crochet tutorials . I’ve made so many of your projects my favorite is the 👗 you made for your daughter. 💕💕💕
I have been trying this stitch failing everytime watched many videos on it and I just got it. Yours was the most easy-to-use I ever saw .thanks 😊 Crystal 🔮
Beautiful shawl. Just have to share this. Look at Charmaine Hammond her comment on making the border for a c2c blanket. Charmaine makes 4 equal triangles and sews them together incorporating the border.
I haven't done C2C in awhile but knew when I saw this pattern I had the yarn I wanted to use. So even though I have another project on my hooks; just picked up another hook and started this. I promise to show you a picture when I get it done. Thanks Crystal.
Like the stitch pattern, first thing I noticed. Woman in my church I would love to give to her.i will b sure to explain to her I got the idea from bod also. 😉
Crystal, thank you for this tutorial, I have tried the c2c several times and I got frustrated and I crochet to relax, but I saw this wrap and said let me try again, it took me a couple of tries to get it going in the right direction but I got it. Part of my problem is I hate the chain foundation, to me that is the most annoying I stitch in the back bumps for ease and neatness but I was turning it the wrong way with the second square, lol . Thank you for the clarity
Lol I am working on 6 shawls at the moment. Got 6 done already. But I am making this pattern with lion brand mandala cakes in the color spirit. It's really pretty and a tip, I found it harder to see all the chains at the beginning and end of the rows, so I wouldnt turn my work until I worked the last dc. This is a super fun and easy pattern!
I was always intimidated by this stitch Crystal and you just gave me the courage to attempt doing it because you make it look insanely easy. Thank you I can't wait to try it!
My mother and I have been making the corner 2 corner to make dishcloths. 8 blocks wide for us. could go bigger if you choose. great for practicing with kids learning how to do this stitch. Of course, we are using crochet cotton. then we have been making one side solid color the other side variegated. That way you can use up scraps of crochet yarn.
Thanks for this tutorial Crystal. I tried C2C a few years back and got frustrated thinking that I was doing something wrong but apparently I wasn't. This is a good practice piece for me and hopefully I'll be able to make a blanket afterwards with the stitch.
I Love it 💝💝💝!!! WooHoo!!! Way to go Crystal 😊💝!!! I have never watched any Tutorial or even tried the C2C so I am very excited to see Your Tutorial & I can't wait to watch it so I can try it 😊💝!!! Thank You so very very much 😊💝💝💝!!!
