Aaaaw, this is wonderful!! Thank you for honoring our friend, David Browning, Craig!! His passing was a shock to us all. I was a mod on his channel, and I enjoyed David's lives and his droll sense of humor. I also love a picot edging now, and like you, I used to hate them, lol!! David Browning will live on thanks to UA-cam, and by caring people like you!! Blessings!!
I love how you go a little further and keep crocheting an extra few rows to help us build confidence! I love your tutorials! I had learned to crochet as a Child but stopped doing it for about 25 years. When I found your tutorials it piqued my interest and I followed them to re-learn this lovely craft. I won 7 ribbons at my County Fair which made me very surprised and proud! You are an EXCELLENT Teacher! Thanks fo all you do, dear, and God bless you! PS, I love these picots!
I'd so love you to do a series of stitches you've used in past projects. Showing how to do them in rows for rectangles and triangles. You have such an amazing eye for stitch designs.
I have made two filet stitch shawls that I learned from you. Now I'm doing this one. I typically do blankets. I make up these items and put them in little care packages for chemo patients where I got my chemo at. I'm 2 1/2 years in remission from my Stage 4 cancer.
My crojo is gone for the summer but this makes me want to pick up my hook again. Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials. I love how you explain things!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. This has become my favourite stitch. So easy and relaxing! I have made several shawls since watching your video. 🥰
Thank you for featuring another one of my patterns. I think your shawl is beautiful. I just finished a rectangular wrap with the same C2C stitch that will be available soon. Regarding the common mistake of doing a SC instead of a SS, that would actually be a valid choice, so long as that choice is made consistently throughout the entire shawl. The mistake I found myself making more often was counting the SS as the first of the four chains, which I would not consider a valid choice.
So glad you commented...AND your comment actually included the answer to the question I was going to ask: "is there going to be a pattern with instructions on how to decrease as with traditional C2C patterns?" (I already have a project in mind lol) Anyhow, thank you for the pattern.
Absolutely stunning!!! Picot stitch on it looks beautiful. I learned something new in the way you taught the picot stitch. Thank you so much!! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this wonderful tutorial!! Bravo bravo!! 💚😊💚😊
This is working up so quickly. Thanks for the warning about how easily we could accidentally switch to single crochets instead of slip stitches. I caught myself doing the same thing! And yes, I frogged my stitches.
I am truly impressed with your instructional video. I have been trying to work on diff things- 1 was a bavarian crochet- so pretty, but definitely complicated. I can't tell you how many videos I went through to find exactly how to do it. Your voice is easy to follow. Those some of them I couldn't understand & it was very difficult. I finally just pieced together 2-3 videos picking up what I could. Would like to tackle it again. Do you instruct on Bavarian crochet?
Omg totally love this pattern. You are the best. I get confused doing c2c so this will be crazy simple to do. Love your work. I’m a total fan. Great tutorial.💕💕💕❤️😍👍

Picots are something you "grow" to love. A few more projects and you'll know if you really love them.
Love the pattern, but l too would prefer it in rectangle. Also love the picos.
There will be a rectangle adaptation published soon.
Looks very interesting. Greets from Germany 👋🏼👋🏼
