The first step to remove the cover, you say, remove the 2 self tapper screws. Those are bolts.

One thing left out of this if you can help there is a half inch bar between the two polys closest to the drive friction disc is held in with a pressed metal retainer clip. Ideas?

I have the same machine as you, however my auger pulley wobbles sideways. Is there any way to tighten this sideways motion?
