Seemed to have missed a big bit from end of vid 2 to 3 ,mouth, nose ect,was waiting to see how you were to tackle that but seemed to jump a lot.love it

This video was just for tackling the fur on the forehead wrinkles. Everything that was intended to be included was included. Nothing was accidentally missed off. I do have other tutorials for facial features like eyes and nose.

What a wonderful masterclass in painting fine detail! I have watched all 3 videos and learned so much! Having just completed a picture of a corgi puppy, I really struggled with getting the 'fluffiness' of the fur. I also struggled with getting the tonal colours correctly. The paint I have been using doesn't seem to cover light on dark, I see you use W and N, perhaps I will try those. Anyhoo, thank you so much for sharing your talent, I will try again!

Hi from Canada. Just love your videos. Have done the first video, now trying two. So far so good. Need to practice doing small fur stokes. What size/type of brush do you use for these tiny hairs, and what consistency of paint. I need to do some major practicing on micro strokes before tackling my French bulldog video step three, looks good so far, but want to try a more realistic look. I will never accomplish the spectacular paintings you produce but do want to improve my painting.

It's brilliant.. Can you paint strait on the painting the next day or do you have to wet it down ? thanks chaz

You cannot rewet acrylic. Once it is dry, it is dry for good. You can paint straight over the top though...layer it as much as you want.

It would help if we could see how you mix your paint and apply it to the brush as I am just starting to try painting

I don't have a second camera to do that...or any space to put it. I have a hand held palette too so it doesn't stay in the same place...maybe the situation will change someday but not soon as cameras cost a lot...

It would help to see the reference at the same time you are painting, since you did say observation is important

Sometimes i have to be careful as the ref photo is not my own. I have started to add them where I can though....this was a very early video where i was still figuring stuff out.

Hi...It all depends on what people commission me to do as the commissions are what pays my bills at the moment so can't just paint whatever without getting paid...
