Couple things about the Fo4 HD Overhaul. It is very good stuff, but you had better have a paid subscription to the nexus AND a beefy internet connection or you will be downloading all it's bits for a long time. I have no real complaints about the textures, they are universally good but I have a nitpick. For whatever reason Sugar Bombs got retextured into Sugar Crisps with a different box and I had to find another food retexture to get it back to how it should look. Other than that, getting everything downloaded and installed was well worth the effort and it's a great base to add texture tweaks to minor stuff.
Do you think you will do a video on your personal mod load order in the future? I enjoy your top 10s and best of videos, but am looking for something more complete than things to add to an existing list
48GB. That's the HD Overhaul when I add up all the parts. There's a reason that despite its, I presume (I'll never know), good quality it's not racking up high super high download numbers - that's just too much data, by almost any metric (nexus speed, end user internet speed, drive space, time).
Oh man! I've *just* downloaded Fallout 4 again after a couple of years or so and I just knew my boy juicehead could have my back to recommend mods for this game :)
I kind of wish Combined Arms had been modular or had a modular option. Some of the weapons in that mod are added by other mods which focus on a specific weapon and allow for more customization per weapon than Combined Arms alone is willing to offer for those weapons in particular.
For the most immersive "Lore Friendly" weapons mod/overhaul try out Weapons Overhaul Redux. It doesn't add any new weapons but re-invents the entire crafting system for every weapon (aside from melee). Pipe weapons can be pretty decent late game to super unique upgrades that changes how the gun functions while still feeling vanilla, also adds many new ammo types along with converting most guns to use different ammo types all with pros and cons. Nothing feels OP and yet one weapon can feel really strong when built 3 different ways, pretty nice.
Only thing stopping me from downloading the HD Overhaul from Luxor is the huge file size, and how many separate files there are. I understand that HD textures means bigger file sizes, but I'd still rather not take up over 36GB of my harddrive just for nicer textures for a single game (Checking the size of my FO4 game folder, it's actually roughly the same size as all the "base" files added together.).
SimSet and SimSet2 are the only reasons I still play FO4. The original game had a great idea with base-building, but after the 5th settlement you just give up and slap together a bunch of beds under a roof and call it a night. SS2 actually gives you base-building with a reason to build settlements. Do you specialize your settlements or make them all sem-independent? How in depth do you want base-building to be? Can you unlock everything?
as a person who likes guns the guns that was chambering while there was still bullets in triggered me so tactical reload is just the best mod here for me

I haven't had any luck getting the service rifle to work. Best I did was an AR-10 that comes with the mod but for whatever reason the actual service rifle is still missing after fiddling with things for a few hours...
Kinda wish the person who made dust and frost mods can make one about fallout 3 but it's about the Chinese Remnants trying to escape the capital during the bombs drops.
I like combined arms a lot, my issue is, it truly needs balance on its leveled list. At level 1, i can find a fully upgraded weapon with 1k Ammo (no joke) on a basic raider. On a survival playthrough, this is broken. (and even on regular playthrough this is way too much) So i always leave it on the side until i know how to fix it myself.
So now I'm getting all sorts of armor from "Power Armor For the People"...and I can't repair any of it. I have no idea where the error lies, but the armor doesn't show up in the PA crafting menu when I'm carrying it.
I tried the PA for the People and it was... OK. Really the BEST by far is the Power Armor Chop Shop that gives the Raider Power Armor some incredible skins. The Excavator armor was OK, but it was everywhere. It made X-o1 armor rare and the X-02, X-03, and PaNorthWest (or something like that) were all too rare to bother collecting. I have 60 full sets of power armor, but only 2 X-01 and one X-02 and just bits of the others. There was also an Army T-45 mixed in there that was just confusing as it was similar to the default, but not and they were only found at a few like the military checkpoints. Besides I do not thing the stat/life capacity modifiers worked for any of them. There was one that also added paint jobs for other sponsored armor, like Sugar Bombs and Abaxis Cleaner and those were great and one added Children of the Atom for I think the X-01. Those are the good ones. I'm still undecided about the Institute Power Armor. The Children of the Atom should have been for T-45 or something like that (not the X-01), the brands were great, the Raider armor was great. Institute and the Construction Power Armor are a toss-up. Besides I do not thing the stat/life capacity modifiers worked for any of them. I'm not sure which mod added the brand paint jobs. The mod recommends about 15 mods to go with it. I do not care for weapon mods as NONE of them are really balanced. That and you tend to get them WAY too early in the game. The biggest part is they tend to have VERY little recoil when using sights. I also hate modern day weapons and armor in Fallout. The balance is perfect as is. HD stuff is cool. Sims Settle 1&2 do look good, but I have not tried them yet. Can you install them both or do you have to run one at a time? I was going to try them on playthrough #15.
amazing mods. it's sad that everyone is jumping on Rockstar's bandwagon of delaying sequels for much longer these days. This game is now going to be 7 years old. There's no official news of Fallout 5 even now which means it'll probably be at least another 3 if not 5 years before we see the sequel.
I wanted to get a Xbox one just for Fallout 4 but never did,, now I am playing Fallout 4 for the first time on pcand I already have a few texture mods to make it look a little better but I wanted to get some more mod ideas.
Hey have you seen the modern firearms modification mod? Its 4 gigs and features over a 100 real life translated fire arms just curious if you've seen that one?
I thought I would play fallout for again and then I see this video released 12 seconds ago the reason I'm making this comment now is because I just started to download fallout 4 again
I have searched a few times on the internet. But does steam fallout 4 work with the nexus mods? I really haven't been able to find a definitive answer as I am looking to expand my modded playthrough of fallout 4
I really don't like the "modern" weapon mods because of one main reason: Where the heck are these being manufactured 200+ years after the bombs fall? As far as we know, the MOST advanced weapon production is currently made by the gun-runners, in WORKSHOPS, not the modern manufacturing that these would require.
@@daviiidruiz Better yet go to r/piracy and on there read the megathread Some people just protest the dlc though, like why? I've really never even played them, you can just ignore them
I used to be a fallout 4 fanatic just for the mods, but for some reason now literally no matter how small the mods are that I limit myself to, the game just cannot fucking crash. Then whenever I install an amount of mods where the game is even somewhat playable, it feels like vanilla game but with living foliage and cheats along with a few bug patches and improvements to NPC behavior. And even then, the game won’t fucking work. But whenever I have mods where the game is fun, the game doesn’t want to work. This is why now I literally play Fallout 76 more than 4 and that’s just sad. Until I can finally install mods on Fallout 4 and actually play the game and have fun I’m not playing it.

I wanted to get a Xbox one just for Fallout 4 but never did,, now I am playing Fallout 4 for the first time on pcand I already have a few texture mods to make it look a little better but I wanted to get some more mod ideas.
power armor to the people is awesome.
I have to wonder if the PA To The People works with Some Assembly Required.
I can't live without FallUI. It's the best mod I ever used
What's the environmental or grass mod used here? It looks so nice
First clip made me think of kino
HI juice head do you stream ?
Dang i wanted to install the hd overhaul vut to find out i have to own the goty version of fallout4
I have searched a few times on the internet. But does steam fallout 4 work with the nexus mods? I really haven't been able to find a definitive answer as I am looking to expand my modded playthrough of fallout 4
Works just fine, get vortex and everything will be good
We need heavy weapons and pa mods again
I really don't like the "modern" weapon mods because of one main reason: Where the heck are these being manufactured 200+ years after the bombs fall? As far as we know, the MOST advanced weapon production is currently made by the gun-runners, in WORKSHOPS, not the modern manufacturing that these would require.
I just like lore friendly weapons. There was one p90 with an optional skin that made it look like something that spent 200 years butied
There are plenty of lore-friendly gun mods, a lot from New Vegas and they’re real good, service rifle as an example
alot of modern weapons were in fallout 2 though
@@postindustrial76 even more were in Tactics
@@thezig2078 true that
Nice list. Unfortunately without all the DLC some of the Mods are a no go for me
Same
If you’re on pc I can send you the dlc for free.
The dlcs go on sale for like 5 bucks lol
@@daviiidruiz Better yet go to r/piracy and on there read the megathread
Some people just protest the dlc though, like why? I've really never even played them, you can just ignore them
@@nicholasproductions237 ik but I just haven't been bothered to get them
hello, what weapon do you have with the puma armor?
Is there a way to get the combined arms mod on ps?
3:12 *laughs in 50 plus*
Mind if I ask: Sim Settlements 2, is it the EXACT SAME SAME but with more features? If I download just this one, will I also be getting the previous SS1 expansions such as Industries, Conqueror and so forth? Thanks in advance.
What was that water mod in the second showcase with the sharks also the green grass mod what was that one in the tactical reload
Mods are the saviour to Bethesda's lazy game design
What’s the machine gun mod in that thumbnail? I don’t think it’s that one DSHK mod you find in the Cambridge police station
Have you ever considered making a Wabbajack list yourself?
God I wish I didn't choose a PS4 for my console when I was younger...
Your game looks so different graphically. Are you using Enb?
Such good mods the fo4 community is amazing so is skyrim too bad my save files get corrupted when I make them my skyrim saves not my fallout
I wish photo mode could be on xbox one that will be cool but sadly it's only on pc
what sniper are you use on tactical reload?
i want a juicehead mod
Im new to pc,is it safe to download mods? I mean like virus wise and stuff like that..ive played this game 6 times on ps4 but never got passed any further than the memory den part.
