Synth Nora wouldn't just be a big moment for the story, it would actually make a lot of sense from the Institute standpoint as well. Adult Shaun making a synth of his dead Mother in order to reconnect with his Father prior to his Father actually meeting with him would make a ton of sense, narratively. Micalov's Overhaul mod is a work of art and everyone should have it in their mod list, for sure.
the idea here for this mod could be that she was shot, but the scientists beamed her and Shaun to the institute where they tried to save her human body but ultimately couldn't and instead they extracted her personality memories and everything about her into a synth body, where she would learn that she was a synth but it took her time to figure it out because the scientists kept wiping that part of her memory, so that Shaun could have a mother and wasn't told his mom was a synth for most of his life until he became the institute leader himself where he found out about all of the things the institute did in order to get him into their fold. but maybe he didn't access the parts of information that told him about her being a synth, and that it was her duty to communicate this to him, perhaps it could be used to sway his loyalty to the institute so there is a better outcome to his story instead of him dying as a tyrant for the institute. i mean if danse can't figure out he was a synth, as well as the many other synths out there, than she could have been their first version of this synth creation that was not a failed experiment like Valentine and his brother were. perhaps when Shaun was growing up, his mom had her doubts and the institute had to wipe parts of her memory to never discover her not being human until they perfected the technology to get that outcome like all the other synths who have no idea who or what they are, but the kicker is she tricked them into thinking they wiped her memory and that's when she met up with Nathan, perhaps at first when she met Nathan, she withheld the truth of her being a synth, but learned to trust him through his actions in the main quest and perhaps even through the synth rebellion that Nathan helped take place. with this idea in mind, the story could remain somewhat the same as there are a lot of unknowns that Nora, Shaun, Nate, have yet to discover for themselves, so the overall story can remain the same, but the ending matters because it can either go 2 separate ways, one where Nate kills synths for the brotherhood ending in killing his own synth wife or sides with Desdemona where Nora sees the good in Nate and joins his cause. but it's also possible that Shaun still creates a synth version of himself as a child synth. that way there could be a somewhat happy ending to the story in the case that old Shaun dies due to his sickness because of the love that both his parents despite their differences and hardships, their love is still strong even though they never got a normal life to live together, there is at least this somewhat happy ending.
@@5226-p1e Father is a master manipulator, he does everything in his power to guilt trip you and gaslight you into thinking that you are the villain and by joining him you’ll insure the future or the commonwealth (when every single evidence ever suggests otherwise) he also created synth shaun to make you feel empathy and sympathy towards him and the institute when every other person, even the scientists note that it’s a horrible torturous idea (that boy will never grow up), and possibly he even transferred his consciousness into the Synth kid (the kid literally, and i do mean literally created prototype UP77 in a week with junk and no plan) which would definitely be suitable for him to do so
Synthetic Love is a mod I have been wanting to try for some time now. I'm not usually one for cut content mods, but I find the impact of your spouse being revived and having them as a companion be much bigger than what we got in the game, which was a synth replacement of child Shawn that you can visit. To be honest, I feel like exploring the concept of a synth who was made to believe they were your spouse and then them coming to terms with the truth and then YOU deciding what to do in the situation to be much more engaging than having some random kid effectively dumped on your doorstep in the epilogue.

Agree on that one. Shaun recreating himself always felt like some twisted lab experiment, an example of his extended ego and disconnection to his own humanity and not much more. Yeah the kid is healthy and basically a genius, also an abomination in the sense he will never grow up. And the kid realises all these things, Shaun would have to know this, and he's basically condemned a living thinking version of himself to a life of misery in no uncertain terms.. And it would no doubt mess with the kids head every day. One thing we can remember when we were kids was looking forward to growing up. Shaun has taken this natural healthy progression from a thinking feeling replica of himself. Made the kid just to show off to his dad... It's twisted a.f when you really think about it. And to me shows the real grown up Shaun's ugly darker side. Proving he's more about narcissistic and manipulative motivations before anything else is considered. Proving he really is more of a sociopathic c#nt than anything else. Another reason for me, when some people say the " writing is bad " in 4. They don't know what they are really talking about. Or haven't really considered the depth of the social commentary in Nate and Shaun's storyline. Cause it's dark, twisted , tragic and complex. Definitely one of the most complex parent ,child relationships that's ever been written. Especially for a video game. Something George Orwell would of found interesting I'm sure.

The variant for the synth power armor at 3:23 is so cool that I have the overwhelming urge to boot up Fallout 4 and make a brand new Institute based character just to find and use it.

the synth spouse mod was one I knew I instantly wanted as soon as it came up. I've never once cared about Fallout 4's story, but if Bethesda had actually brought back your spouse as a synth, with memories and everything, it could have been that connection the player needed to actually care about finding Shawn and would actually put more meaning behind the decision to go against the institute. Sure, synth spouse isn't real, but the RP potential is there. Especially if they have memories you could learn as you build your relationship with them. Consequences to showing your synth spouse their dead body. Having the option to put it down due to how your character would react, could a synth spouse change where your character stands? Could it push you off the brotherhood path part way through their faction quests due to the emotionally connection you'd have with the synth spouse? It makes the Instutite a faction worth pursuing without being straight out a bad guy. Its the whole moral ambiguity that I crave, I want to still be wondering 5 hours later if I made the right decision, instead of just never thinking about it again. Plus it could be an actual introduction to the Institute rather than this whole "I let you out, but I also didn't let the synths know, so sorry about them trying to murder you, you understand". Idk, the impact of a story like that could have been significant. And I know the mod itself is simple, but I have been head-RPing fallout 4 for thousands of hours now, so its good enough for me :D EDIT: The reason Shawn doesn't do it alone, is because you spend the entire game looking for him, only to find out he's an old man who dies pretty much right away. Didn't have any connection with him when he was a baby, that didn't change just because he's an old man. From my perspective, I learned at a young age that family isn't blood, its who you decide is family as your life proceeds along its path. There just was nothing for me to connect to. Sure I am not a mom IRL either, but I could have been down with the whole mom thing but I can't experience the maternal instinct of giving birth to a potato, especially a 65+ year old dying potato which is the whole connection you have to Shawn
Agreed. The whole "family" aspect is seriously underdeveloped. I felt more attached to the synth detective than my own son. None of it's helped by the fact that the game practically encourages you to forget about your son and go off on hours and hours of adventures and escapades.

The Vault 120 can actually be restored: -The layout and design of the Vault was found in Fallout 76 -There are a few octopi/squid recreations based on the texture file -There is a BioShock asset set created by modders -And you could use either Railroad and Institute as people investigating the Vault, for narrative interactions of conflicting factions.
the new replaced institute weapons have the added benifit of making some sort of sense of them pursuing the FEV tests as a way of being able to develop weapons that would be in turn highly effective against creatures created by FEV.

I never bought "The Outer Worlds" because it does not seem to have a lot of mods, despite being made by the same company that made New Vegas. The Nora thing… there’s an uncut random encounter where you find yourself dead, and there’s synth parts on the body. It’s weird that they cut the spouse synth, but not the one that pretty much gives away that you, the player character, are a synth.
I'd like to think the institute power armor is the way it is because it's more of a utility. probably meant to protect scientists inspecting hazards like nasty bio spills or nuclear waste.
Him talking about the bio gun makes me want an Unreal Tournament weapons pack for FO4. Rocket launcher, flak cannon, link gun, bio rifle, shock rifle, and the mine layer (spider mines...) with proper secondary functions would be awesome additions to Fallout 4.
Would love more Power Armor models. I honestly think Power Armor was Fallout 4's strongest point, I just wish we had a "Helmet HUD" border like what Metroid Prime does. I understand it irritates some people but I always loved it personally.

I’m back into Fallout 4 now. I really hope we get more content for it. I feel like it needs a few more mini story missions. Like there is more to be done. I also wish mods didn’t deactivate achievements… because there’s so many cool ones, but I cant gotta (hopefully) finish this game completely for real this time maybe lol. I did download mods and they were really cool and fun, but then I felt like I didn’t have anything to work toward and got bored stupid deactivation button… :(

Seeing as I'm trying to build a Ultimate Fallout 4: *_More Cut Content Mods are much appreciated_* (By Ultimate Fallout 4 I mean things like All Weapons from Fallout 2 - Fallout NV and even 76. Armours, Cut Content, Survival Mods ect.)
I wish that Bethesda had kept the original institute weapons and had made some of the ones in game make a bit more sense. For example, what if to reload the broadsider, you dump in a powdee charge and THEN a ball? Yeah it still leaves out ramming the stuff down in ans cleaning out the gun but at least it’s better than just dropping in a cannon ball. Or the assault rifle: why didn’t we get something like the FO3 combat rifle or the NV service rifle? You can mix the sort of aesthetic fallout goes for with practicality and realism without sacrificing the aesthetic or making it look too real.
i think something that needs to be said is that vault 120 mod is a fan creation cause in recent times we have im pretty sure the whole vault 120 map it was found in F76s files as a leftover the modded vault 120 is more so a bioshock x fallout crossover inspired mod. also theres a whole video going over the place almost 38 mins of pure content about the quest and the vault i just want people to know that the vault in this video isnt the official cut vault but the modded one is still good in its own right [though looks nothing like the cut one mind you].
You've finally convinced me to redownload Fallout 4. This, and on April 30th, a modder reuploaded the Knightmare Batman outfit mod on Nexus. It was taken down some time ago since Warner Bros was pissy they ported some assets from Arkham Knight without permission. Well, now the modder has permission.
FYI: when you put a thing in another thing that it is another version of, that's called recursion. Inception is planting an idea in someone's head, that was the whole plot of the film and reason for the title. Recursion was the dream-in-a-dream-in-a-dream set-piece.
Makes sense for the lucky rabbit foot to be in vault 111 so a new player can get the maximum benifit from it rather than latter on when they are higher level and doing Nuka world

It does seem ironic to me that the faction that would be the least militarily inclined because they are a bunch of recluse scientists, would be the faction that gets the most weapon mods made for them, all the while the poor Minutemen are crying in to their hats because they are stuck with a crummy laser musket.

Yeah. All "my" Minutemen (settlers that are guards or provisioners) get armour (initially leather, then combat) and proper guns - rifles (combat, assault, sniper or laser) or combat shotguns. Be nice to give the patrols upgraded gear based on PC level and affinity with Preston, too. That said, it was hilarious watching muties attack Sanctuary when I was level 18. What they didn't realise was that both Jun Long and Sturges were equipped with miniguns...
I like my PA simple: t45D, calibrated shocks, Servo assist torso, Bright headlamp, VATS assist. Repair is easy, just carry a few tin cans. Boom. Coast Guard caps on the Super Mootintz? Sign me up for that!

Project Valkyrie can tie up the biggest issues with the plot by just adding a bit of logic and compromise to the ending options. Alternate Start Mods are good if you want to do side quests whie not being the sociopath that doesn't immediately do everything they can to find their kid. I find that works for me.
Power armour always should’ve been the vehicle. You get it and then you can fast travel without it you can’t (like auto pilot mode). It also should’ve been ridiculously customizable and the number of power armour frames should’ve been extremely limited.
20 leagues under the sea being cut content is a bit of a stretch sure the vault was planned but the mod clearly takes allot of inspiration from bioshocks rapture
I remembered some of Nuka World dlc was cut content, its unfinished dlc, another cut content is underwater mod, that needed to be DLC, or perhaps Zetan alien ship too?

The Vault 120 can actually be restored:
-The layout and design of the Vault was found in Fallout 76
-There are a few octopi/squid recreations based on the texture file
-There is a BioShock asset set created by modders
-And you could use either Railroad and Institute as people investigating the Vault, for narrative interactions of conflicting factions.
the new replaced institute weapons have the added benifit of making some sort of sense of them pursuing the FEV tests as a way of being able to develop weapons that would be in turn highly effective against creatures created by FEV.
Many years ago, I read that there was a torrent version from 2015 that contained some files of the cut contents, they were later removed in updates.
It may be near 8 years old, but as long as talented modders are working on it, it's going to be played. I never bought "The Outer Worlds" because it does not seem to have a lot of mods, despite being made by the same company that made New Vegas. Apparently Betheseda's engine is designed in part with modding in mind?

The Outer Worlds was very mediocre with very low replayability.
The Nora thing… there’s an uncut random encounter where you find yourself dead, and there’s synth parts on the body. It’s weird that they cut the spouse synth, but not the one that pretty much gives away that you, the player character, are a synth.

@@mosthole the open to interpretation is what makes it an interesting quest. Such as dog meat being a synth and a spy to keep an eye on you.

I'd like to think the institute power armor is the way it is because it's more of a utility. probably meant to protect scientists inspecting hazards like nasty bio spills or nuclear waste.
Him talking about the bio gun makes me want an Unreal Tournament weapons pack for FO4. Rocket launcher, flak cannon, link gun, bio rifle, shock rifle, and the mine layer (spider mines...) with proper secondary functions would be awesome additions to Fallout 4.

Would love more Power Armor models. I honestly think Power Armor was Fallout 4's strongest point, I just wish we had a "Helmet HUD" border like what Metroid Prime does. I understand it irritates some people but I always loved it personally.
I remember playing Freefall 4 on PS4 and loving it. My only complaint was that it didn’t play well with other mods. Excited to hear it’s available for PC now.

It's like patch for the whole game, that adds in a bunch of cut content and prolly a bunch of stuff that the UFO4 patch does but ps4 users cant use because it requires the fallout 4 script extender, and ps4 users aren't allowed to use that. i believe the reason why lucky's rabbit foot is in vault 111 is to say that he forgot it when he left, and that he met his unfortunate demise as a result, having been one of the unlucky victims of the nuka-world raiders

I’m back into Fallout 4 now. I really hope we get more content for it. I feel like it needs a few more mini story missions. Like there is more to be done. I also wish mods didn’t deactivate achievements… because there’s so many cool ones, but I cant gotta (hopefully) finish this game completely for real this time maybe lol. I did download mods and they were really cool and fun, but then I felt like I didn’t have anything to work toward and got bored stupid deactivation button… :(

vault 120 reminds me of rapture from the bioshock games and curved widows remind me of a specific lobby area for bioshock multiplayer in the first game

Seeing as I'm trying to build a Ultimate Fallout 4: *_More Cut Content Mods are much appreciated_* (By Ultimate Fallout 4 I mean things like All Weapons from Fallout 2 - Fallout NV and even 76. Armours, Cut Content, Survival Mods ect.)

I wish that Bethesda had kept the original institute weapons and had made some of the ones in game make a bit more sense. For example, what if to reload the broadsider, you dump in a powdee charge and THEN a ball? Yeah it still leaves out ramming the stuff down in ans cleaning out the gun but at least it’s better than just dropping in a cannon ball. Or the assault rifle: why didn’t we get something like the FO3 combat rifle or the NV service rifle? You can mix the sort of aesthetic fallout goes for with practicality and realism without sacrificing the aesthetic or making it look too real.
i think something that needs to be said is that vault 120 mod is a fan creation cause in recent times we have im pretty sure the whole vault 120 map it was found in F76s files as a leftover the modded vault 120 is more so a bioshock x fallout crossover inspired mod. also theres a whole video going over the place almost 38 mins of pure content about the quest and the vault i just want people to know that the vault in this video isnt the official cut vault but the modded one is still good in its own right [though looks nothing like the cut one mind you].
You've finally convinced me to redownload Fallout 4. This, and on April 30th, a modder reuploaded the Knightmare Batman outfit mod on Nexus. It was taken down some time ago since Warner Bros was pissy they ported some assets from Arkham Knight without permission. Well, now the modder has permission.
Love seeing cut content added back into games, I tried putting the cut weapon the Skateboard back into GTA SanAndreas myself.
Sometimes the "cutting room floor" is a good place for some things.

That Institute Power Armor reminds me of The Enlightened of the Marked of Kane.
It does seem ironic to me that the faction that would be the least militarily inclined because they are a bunch of recluse scientists, would be the faction that gets the most weapon mods made for them, all the while the poor Minutemen are crying in to their hats because they are stuck with a crummy laser musket.
I may hate the minuteman cause I'm just an errand boy but I love that laser guns of there but only if I can crank it a bit more for better damage and change the noise and color
Yeah. All "my" Minutemen (settlers that are guards or provisioners) get armour (initially leather, then combat) and proper guns - rifles (combat, assault, sniper or laser) or combat shotguns. Be nice to give the patrols upgraded gear based on PC level and affinity with Preston, too.
That said, it was hilarious watching muties attack Sanctuary when I was level 18. What they didn't realise was that both Jun Long and Sturges were equipped with miniguns...
I had Freefall on PS4, and it adds SO many things, and many changes are small but add so much to the game.
The 20 Leauges under the sea mod is just Bioshock in Fallout
I like my PA simple: t45D, calibrated shocks, Servo assist torso, Bright headlamp, VATS assist. Repair is easy, just carry a few tin cans. Boom.

Great mod compilations, now we need to make FO4 Story , Quest and RPG elements fun.
Project Valkyrie can tie up the biggest issues with the plot by just adding a bit of logic and compromise to the ending options. Alternate Start Mods are good if you want to do side quests whie not being the sociopath that doesn't immediately do everything they can to find their kid. I find that works for me.

I always play as "Nora" and I use the Dual Companions mod so that nate is with you
Power armour always should’ve been the vehicle. You get it and then you can fast travel without it you can’t (like auto pilot mode).
It also should’ve been ridiculously customizable and the number of power armour frames should’ve been extremely limited.

20 leagues under the sea being cut content is a bit of a stretch sure the vault was planned but the mod clearly takes allot of inspiration from bioshocks rapture
I remembered some of Nuka World dlc was cut content, its unfinished dlc, another cut content is underwater mod, that needed to be DLC, or perhaps Zetan alien ship too?
the nice part about being able to tell when an ad is about to start is that i know to hit the right arrow key 12 times in order to skip 60 seconds, because a one-minute spot is the most common paid promotion length
