- A great day in Kinvara County Galway, on the west coast of Ireland, running the Rock and Road Half Marathon. In hindsight it was probably a faster race than is comfortable with the GoPro but as always I'm very happy to have captured, and can share, this special event. A big shout out to the organisers and volunteers who looked after us so well from start to finish. Finally, a special mention to Rock and Road for making their hundreds of photos available...especially my finish line snap and to Nessa Kelly for being the best supporter ever.
What a gorgeous course. Well done you! I always found that the shorter the distance, the harder the run!!!! 💜💛
Totally agree Ann, it’s easy to cover the shorter distances but it’s a different story to determine just how fast you’re capable of covering the shorter distances 😅 Good to do it once and a while though. Thanks for watching 👍

Thanks, yeah it’s a bit of work putting these videos together but I’m always happy when it’s out there for others to see and if it helps to promote the event/area so much the better.

Yep, fields of stone. The Burren is a crazy old place 😛. Just time now for one last jaunt in the Irish countryside. I’m a bit done in hauling boxes up and down stairs all week so plan is to simply enjoy the experience of The Maurice Mullins tomorrow…that’s the plan anyway 🤣. Thanks, as always, for watching 👍
I visited Ireland last year, it is such a magnificent place. Love seeing Your videos with The beautiful landscape You guys have. I Will ofcourse follow Your jorney overseas though 😊👍
Thanks Morten, some of the scenery here is just amazing. I’m exhausted with the house move this week but I’m still looking forward to my final run in the hills tomorrow. The Maurice Mullins course is on my doorstep and so is a great way for me to bid farewell to my homeland…for a while 😉 Thanks for watching 👍
