- I can't believe I contemplated not running this classic race. Exhausted after a week of packing up the house and preparing to move lock stock and two smoking barrels to California (the day after Maurice Mullins) I really wasn't feeling it....until I started running. What a super super event it is and one of the very best on the IMRA calendar. I couldn't have wished for any better way to spend my final day in Ireland.

Ah thanks Jamie, I really appreciate that. Now that I have finally settled into “normal’ life in the US I look forward to creating more content in the coming months. Leadville won’t be long coming around 😱

Ah yes, thanks Shelley. Chicago was a much easier day at the office than Leadville. It was like a walk in the park by comparison 😂. Still, it was a great day out and I’m so glad to have been able to enjoy it. Stay tuned for what’s next 🤔

That was a great run, I learned a lot for my first 50k. I hope I can put more into practice next year in 2024.
It was a better day out than I expected tbh. Best of luck in your first 50k. There really is no substitute for getting out there and giving it a go. I learn a little more ever time I lace up my trainers. Enjoy the journey 🏃🏻♂️💪❤️
@filmmytrailrun that was actually my first 50k I was there at the starting line. My first ultra marathon and first ever marathon. I need a good plan in training for 2024

Thanks Tadeusz, yeah, IMRA do a great job of organizing so many amazing races around Ireland for next to nothing. US races for me for a while now. Might need to think about getting a job 🤣
