For months they expected to lose Caleb. The question is what the fu*** are they waiting for to improve the roster? 5 years of waiting for “the right deal” to come along, meanwhile jimmy is now in his middle 30s and on his way out

    • @lintlickers

Miami messed up after the bubble by giving bums huge contracts and letting good players walk.. they have Duncan and hero huge contracts and they don’t deserve it. as it stands the last 2 years they should of already blown it up…. they’re not winning, sign and trade jimmy, trade bam, full rebuild. it’s done.

Caleb Martin leaving isn’t going to break this team. I do agree with not spending the money. Issue here is that they should’ve improved this team, they don’t seem to be able now as there is no money or assets. You can’t have it both ways… short on the spending (or spend lavishly on a mediocre roster), then rest on the coaching staff and pretend is enough to get idiots (fans) to continue to tune in on the crap they put on the floor.
Last year was unwatchable, product isn’t good enough, and it is simply worst now. Plus looking like it’s going to be multiple years now.

It’s 4 years with a player option and he can sign a much more lucrative deal in his prime after 3 years of playing with a former MVP in Joel Embid and ALL STAR in Paul George and up and coming star in Tyrese Maxey. I think this may work out in the long term for Caleb

Im so glad his agent f'd up. We need to stop signing these low ceiling players to long-term contracts. It would've been nice to trade him while he had value. Please don't sign Haywood. Our young guys have upside. Time to do it with Jimmy. Jimmy never had a window. Get something for him while he has value. Tyler needs to be gone ASAP. Please no Defrozen either.

@@jahnnlopez9957 Dude, are you kidding? Vincent got bounced in the same 1st round Miami did. Am not even sure where Jones jr is right now he’s that irrelevant. Strauss was the same up down inconsistent player for the Cavs he was for Heat. He sure as hell couldn’t carry the load when Spyder was struggling with injuries. Absolutely NON of these guys have gone anywhere to elevate their new teams with hyper contracts far exceeding production so the Heat have been justified in letting them go for that money. How the hell do you expect any chance at a superstar if you jam up your cap space with expensive role players? You wouldn’t even be able to use them in a trade coz teams don’t want to absorb those fat contracts. Do you think anyone would take Vincent or Strauss contracts right now? Hell no. The hard caps were created for a reason. You just don’t like that your team has to adhere to them. That’s the real world, sorry.

Signing Lowry was THE worse mistake of the Jimmy era. 3 wasted seasons that they cant get back. $$$ that could have been spent or traded for that second scorer. Now Miami is stuck between 2 generations (old man Butler and Bam & Co.) . The Butler window is CLOSED.

He' s better than than the guy you traded for last year who was injured his neck "sleeping" the wrong way. (Rozier). Kyle got you to spots you won't get to anywhere soon, that is a fact. Jimmy is too old now, Bam is overrated and Tyler is not good enough. Good luck to Miami and best to Kyle who will land on a team much better than Miami.
