The problem is not your journalism skill, the problem is you are accepting the arrogance. There is a way to cover the Heat and force them to understand it is a 2 way street. I wonder how you guys get contents from the Heat the way this franchise is running.they need to hire a media relation guy because the president and GM do not talk. That seems valid. And that's kind of what Ethan is saying. The Heat are not winning the PR game and it may be hurting them. I think maybe the Heat organization should blast a few people like Cronin...maybe. I'm not sure because THEN people are going to call them petty and making excuses and hitting below the belt. I personally like that fact the organization keeps their business private. And when they do talk, it’s with local journalist. When you participate in the Mainstream Media circus your organization becomes a clown house 🤡.
Look no further than how this toxic fan base gets when we don’t make a move on any rumor. Now imagine if the Heat announced every trade they considered and didn’t execute it… Either because they’re waiting for a better trade or because teams don’t want to trade with your organization since your players and pick aren’t the best.
If the fans ran the Miami Heat, we would have a 100% player turn around every season.
I swear some fans want the Heat to be the Lakers 2.0 more concerned about making moves and getting the trendy name in free agency as if to get validation from other fans or MSM, yet most have never run a business. Most fans don’t know how to operate a budget, or balance and compromise short term success with long term success.
I appreciate the organization running this franchise the way they do. They’re always competitive and don’t cave in to the mainstream media 💩.

Great point Greg. When things were quiet 🤐 means a big fish was on the way back in the day. But i will say after the undrafted started producing finals trips. The organization may not be as hungry anymore

So who do I trust for credible breaking information on the Miami Heat? Five Reasons Sports, Locked on Heat, Tobin. For additional credible analysis - Miami Heat Beat (mostly negative though), Alf (negative), Anthony D, and a couple others. Lebatard (when he feels like it and mostly after the fact), Ira Winderman, Barry Jackson, The Miami Herald & Sun Sentinel .

It’s not PR. It is arrogance. This franchise is too arrogant. This Franchise is run like the secret service. They seem to forget they are in the entertainment business. How can your own fan feels like you do not give a crap about what they feel or think. You need a GM that can communicate with the media and the fans. I for one am kind of sick of this front office getting a pass on everything,when are we going to acknowledge some of those ridiculous contracts, Heros incentives , Duncan five year contract, Rosier 's ,l think there will be. A big move hopefully Jimmy to a different team, he bought into a business in Chi- town , they moved off of DeRozan , they got some good young players and a 3 point shooting big , l am from Wisconsin so l would love it am a Butler fan not a Heat fan , necessarily, what a great story ending his career where he started , they still love him in Chicago and Milwaukee also

Cronin can do his job while being fare to the Heat and the fans at the same time. Some Miami Sports journalist are becoming too much a puppet of the franchise. You must be working for the Heat. Not according to the numbers. The NBA is 2 season the regular season and the post season. If you are loosing half your game at home of course you are not going to lead in attendance. I stop blaming the national media because I understand the business of sport. Come ti me with facts numbers. I can tell you Heat has been in the play in 2 years in a row and have lost both play in first game. Now can I say the media do not trust us no.
