Problem is the Heat want Herro to play more like Duncan, and that's NOT a good thing. Jacking up 3s, takes him out of the overall flow. Herro is Best, when he is able to move the ball around, and drive to the basket as well. Problem is Bam and Jimmy clog the basket area. Tyler plays better, when Jimmy is resting on the bench.

Jimmy was hurt and he gets flack in the reg season; Bam does everything for this team on defense so expecting him to avg 25+ ppg is unreasonable; Tyler’s inefficient scoring and lack of paint touches is a huge problem he’s also a defensive liability

Alex is smart not to expect it. Jimmy and Tyler will miss several games again. Move Jimmy before the trade deadline. Tyler being out actually helps us. He's a net negative, takes the most shots on the team and you all wonder why we have issues. He's awful. Unfortunately, no one wants Tyler. Start the youth movement now. Jovic and Jaime need to play together as starters. Jaime has to learn how to play as a starter. He can't be a 6th man for the rest of his career.

@thehandsomenerd6719 We have to try and recoup both picks we've traded away using Jimmy as the asset. Hopefully, 2 firsts and a young player from a team. I'd prefer the picks, now. Since 2017, minus the 2020 draft, we're finally good at drafting. There were some dark draft years as a Heat fan. I've been a Heat fan since the inception and Pats' early draft results before and after Wade were pretty terrible.

I believe there’s still time for this team to recreate itself. There’s trades that still can be made. Brooklyn still has Cam Johnson, Dorian Finney-Smith. Herb Jones from the Pelicans could be available etc. Just give Spo some 2 way wings that can efficiently guard the 3’s, then the Heat develop a high Fg efficient offense to counter balance the new nba where you have to make 3’s in your system in order to win the chip. Just an opinion

Let me get this straight. Duncan starting has large negative net rating, while Tyler starting in the same lineup is +3. But you want to start Duncan because of his "better" fit? That makes no sense, thank god the coaching staff know better. The bias against Tyler is ridiculous.

I think Celtics is still team to beat. Our main problem "INJURIES". My first five are: Bam,Butler,Jovic,Highsmith, and Rozier. I think these 5 can play both defense and offense, can compete with any teams. 2nd five: Herro,Robinson,Jaquez,Love, and Ware. If healthy, Heat can compete with any teams!

I don't doubt Jimmy at all , l think there were lots of things going on behind the scenes last season , and if you know Jimmy he will just turn it off and not play hello Minnesota, l heard it on another podcast , there were too many average players that wanted to feed so to speak and forgot who their bread and butter player was ,til they had that meeting ,and trying to get Jaime and Jovic in the mix , l keep saying the games when Tyler and Bam were out and Jimmy, Duncan and Love and the young ones were playing were some of the best games last year , l kind of would like to see Jimmy at the 2 with Rosier , don't care about Tyler

We’re going to be top 4. Nothing has to break right. We only need to not stand in our own way.
There was a 7 game stretch that we were simply checked out on, didn’t play hard at all, got beat by awful teams. If we even avoided that unacceptable crap last year we would have been a 2 seed.

I prefer Tyler starting with Highmith in the back court. Bring Terry off the bench to unlock Ware’s game. Ware clearly needs someone who can throw a lob and Tyler has chemistry with Bam in P&R.. It’s Jimmy that doesn’t fit with Tyler but that’s usually because of inconsistent lineups during the regular season. We haven’t really seen them together much in the postseason except that time they got to the finals.

@@sandraolson7974 it’s been three years since those three players were together in the playoffs. Jimmy missed last year and Tyler got hurt in the first game the year before and as far as the regular season, they only had one season where Tyler wasn’t coming off the bench. it’s hard to gauge their performance during the regular season given how many games Jimmy took off. I think the problem is people blame Tyler for losing because it’s a popular narrative, but to me the person that doesn’t fit is Jimmy given he doesn’t space the floor and he only tries two months out of the year. When he is on, and the defense has to focus on him, Jimmy opens the Floor for Tyler in the post season and Tyler’s number in the fourth quarters are generally pretty good. The article in the Miami times was exactly what I have been saying for years.

I wish you guys will do your flipping jobs already instead of beating the ☠️ Jimmy and Tyler horses. Those guys are secondary players at this point the one you should be pointing the finger at is the one wasting time trying to be captain America instead of working on his game. The east has shifted to be wing dominant so naturally Tyler and Jimmy aren’t going to be able to carry the team past a few games and playoff rounds. We have one player that would be a clear mismatch in every series. I think we should follow the Boston model and force our number 2 to be number 1. If they can get him to be aggressive and work on his touch in the paint bam will bring the larry b back to south beach. That’s what has to happen for this team to win but I don’t think bam will step up he just doesn’t have that dog in him
