I've been doing curls on my clients for over 30 years, and most of them are women in their 50s through 80s who maintain the style since the 1980's and 1990's. Make no mistake...once you get a curl, you don't have natural hair anymore. Gina curl, like all other brands of jheri curl, is a chemical process identical to getting a relaxer which requires a chemical curl activator product for proper maintenance because it's the only thing that can penetrate your shaft after that. Understand a Gina Curl and all other jheri curl changes the molecular structure by deconstructing the protein bonds of your hair and reconstructing them around the shape of whichever size rod your stylist uses. Understand that oils no longer penetrate your hair, and without using an activator, your hair will eventually break off due to extreme dehydration at the core of your hair strands, and at the fragile part of your hair where your new growth and the chemically processed curl meet. I'm not saying getting a curl is wrong, but don't let these undereducated "influencers" and money-hungry stylists who fail to educate you make you make a decision about your hair that you are not fully informed about. There's a reason this chemical process fell out of fashion. If this hair is not wet 24/7 with activator, your hair falls apart and no amount of Curly Girl Method can save it.
I hope people read your psa announcement. Thank you for caring for peoples hair and warning them before they make a mistake. I thought her hair was pretty before the curl. She could have just used a good product to do wash and goes.
@Princess Of Frost those are natural curls but not her own natural curls there are people with naturally curly hair like that Also it’s her hair and she can do whatever she wants with it
@@yannamania it definitely does not. chileeee do you not see the S shape in some of her curls in the close up. somebody needs a curl pattern chart ASAP😗
The highest you should ever pay for a curly perm for that hair length is $120 max. Don't ever pay $900 again, that is robbery. My hair was longer and thicker than yours and the highest I paid was $120 but most of the time it was $68 and $72.
Your hair came out nice. I just want to know why THE HECK are they charging us a mortgage payment to get this done? Its a chemical. Instead of a perm making our hair bone straight, it just loosens our curl. A chemical is a chemical. I just seriously hate how the industry takes advantage of us.
It's too expensive, that's for sure, now you have to take into consideration the time, for example, she said she was at the salon for ten hours, it's extremly long, so you also pay for the stylist's time. And they don't just apply a chemical, they have to create the curls by putting rods in the hair...
This is expensive but honestly people pay $200-300 for braids that have to be done over in 6 weeks..at least this will last 6 months. She was under the dryer alone for 4 hours. This is an all day affair.
@@briad1261 absolutely, I personally feel it would be disrespectful to record or take pictures of anyone or their children even if they are celebrities. Well it’s professional not your homegirl. Color doesn’t matter only quality does! People like you are the true racist of the world who bring down someone’s work because of the their race and how their action while being that race just ‘didn’t sit right with you’. Leave that lady alone. Unless you know that she is unqualified or something else then get talking. To clarify, I am black too and I am not saying black isn’t professional. All I’m saying is that non black people can achieve anything a black person can and vice versa.
@@crazynyla6976 nothing she said was racist. You don’t seem to even know the definition of racism. She’s right. Something does seem wrong about a white woman charging black women $900 for essentially a jerry curl. Something that’s been around for decades that this woman slapped her name on and is passing off as her own innovation. Would be the same thing as me, a black woman opening up a restaurant with a mainly Chinese customer base and charging them $200 for an overpriced version of some normally inexpensive authentic Chinese dish that I’m claiming to have invented myself. That’s so wrong.
@@crazynyla6976 Non black ppl may not know as much abt black hair as a black person does. What the person is saying is a non black person charging so much doesn’t sit right with them that’s it. Plus u can’t be racist towards white ppl
@@annamaebullock5 What wrong about a black woman opening an expensive Chinese spot? And to begin with a jerry curl has nothing to to with the natural texture of black hair. The first use a perm (like the do on white, brown, and black people) and set up curling rods. It’s not rocket science! And if shes charging so much she probably has the degree to back it (cosmology school). Her race doesn’t lower her ability. Please change that mentality. Just because you’re born with kinky hair doesn’t mean someone with a straighter texture can’t learn or execute the same or better results. It’s the same thing with language, yes there are native people but you can also learn no matter race! Is it racist for me a black woman to know the language English because it was create by the Anglo-Saxons in early England (not my best example because Ik the diaspora and all that jazz). End of the story I don’t care who you are and what you do. Do what makes you happy. Be black and have an expensive Chinese spot. Be white doing jerry curls (which are not just for black people). We have one life! Just because someone was born looking different then the norm of their profession doesn’t mean their less worthy! Isn’t this the same shit we fought for? Treat others how you want to be treated, not by their race. She did a good job and that’s all that matters.
Yes. Smh. I can't believe ppl are falling for this scam. It's an ammonium thioglycolate perm. The same perm that little old ladies have been getting for YEARS for $50.
Yes, this is a "body wave" . There r a lot of names for it. And it's no longer natural, it's permed....also , $900 is ridiculous! I got mine done for $40, although that was years ago, by a friend.
I am ALL 4C, shrinkage & all and could care less about straightening my hair (can't use heat with a GC), I can't wait to get one myself!! It's frustrating never being able to hold ANY kind of style, bc my hair constantly reverts back to frizz from any twist-outs, braid out, etc & def can't do wash'n gos. Only needing a touch-up once a yr. Yea, I was sold on it a long time ago. Another girl I watch also has had one for over a yr. Her hair still looks amazing too, no breakage or damage anywhere! To really be able to wake up, mist a lil water and go! Idk that life LoL
Embrace the 4c frizz! I have! Nah but I’ve been training my hair with braid out and so far so good. I also only style on lightly wet hair with styling foam. It lasts me dayzz and I live in the Caribbean where the humidity can get up there.
I usually hate seeing the comments under someone who has chosen a process for their hair because they’re usually so negative (and full of girls with natural hair that “don’t plan on changing it” for some reason 🤔) but I’m happy to see yours are mostly positive especially since you’re so happy with the results. It looks gorgeous
It amazes me how so many folks in these comments are butt hurt cuz she decided to do something different with HER HAIR . The natural hair goons need to relax
@@valeriecoleman6480 plenty of girls been going back year after year, no damage. At least have the facts. Whatever you knew about the jheriCurl, is outdated. LoL this ain't the jheriCurl.
These are Jheri Curls... you have to wait till it grows out before doing another process that's not a jheri curl. Old school hair dresses know how to do them. You just have to keep up your new growth so that there is no breakage. My aunt did them for years I remember ppl lined up in her shop waiting for these.. I cannot believe the woman charges that much. My mom has a running nose all her life...
That's not true. Please don't spread misinformation about the Gina Curl. It is NOT a Jheri Curl and Gina does have processes that you can do even after getting a Gina Curl. You can still dye your hair after getting a Gina Curl after the first two weeks. You don't need any activator or creams to maintain the curls either, they stay that way. All women who have gotten the Gina Curl (they're on youtube so you can easily verify this) have reported no breakage even after 5-6 months of new growth and Gina has clients that have been getting this process for years and will still say the same thing.
@@thisisayoutube3811 you could color with jheri curl you just have to be careful. The only reason for using the activator was it keep the curl hydrated and not dry. But the application from what I've seen is the same process. Do not get me wrong I'm not disapproving at all with ppl who get them. I'm just talking about the process.. also, the reason ppl got retouching was to keep the roots the same texture as the curl that was already processed. I think it's cute... hair styles and processes repeat themselves. I do think it's a shame she's charging that much but she's coined the market is about business in the end.
Kinda cause she already has a natural curl pattern all they did was perm it to define the curls more and make her hair thinner so yes technically its natural
If you try a treatment that stops breakages it helps the hair stay full and grow longer, because it preserves the hair. I tried olaplex and it helps with stopping breakage without makong my curls loose or anything like that. But there are more treatments like olaplex, you just have to find them and the research behind it. I bought olaplex at a hairsalon wholesale so it was cheaper but it was still expensive. us curly girls have stay on top of the breakage and protect thair otherwise it will never get long and full.
Take liquid biotin 10,000 Mg for thickness and MSM powder for length (also drink a lot of water and make sure that you don’t have any nutrient deficiencies so your body can process the minerals properly)
This is a jheri curl/wave nuvue . I had got this done a day before my birthday. I loved it, it was sooooo beautiful! Only down fall is after sometime my hair started breaking off so bad! It started looking like i was walking around with the Joe Dirt hair cut. I finally cut it all off again and went natural from scratch. Some years later my roommate who had thick beautiful long natural hair went to get a curl done because she felt like it was more manageable. I warned her about what happened to me, but it is her hair and we are all free to do what we want with it. Same thing happened to her, it was super cute the 1st month or so then it started breaking her hair off extremely bad. That was probably the most damaged her hair had ever been. She finally big chopped and started all over and her hair is beautiful . Make sure you keep up with this style as best as possible to prevent what me & my roommate had went through & i wish you the best of luck! Side note, this lady way overcharged. This is literally like a $100 hairstyle or less, honestly.
It's only "overpriced" because Jheri and other Black stylists UNDERCHARGE. It's called branding, crapple iPhones suck but yall keep buying them for $1800.
Granted, I'm not the one shampooing and caring for sis's hair, but I think her before looks so much healthier and better (to me) than after. I think her hair looked full of life.
@Alex Davids besides the before photo. Pretend you only seen the after. It looks very unhealthy when it’s wet but that’s what she wants and it is very cute on her
Your hair was and is still beautiful, I am about to get my 6th Gina Curl in a few months, I cut off my relaxed ends when I first got mine so I had 4 inches of hair all over my head, and it has been growing longer and stronger ever since, I will continue to get my hair done it is worth it to me, and some people will never understand how easy it is to maintain and take care of the Gina Curl because they are too busy worrying about the wrong thing and jumping to their own conclusions.
Hi can you do the Gina Curls for years and years considering everytime the whole hair is getting retouched? I want Gina Curls longggg-term. I'm talking 20 years plus
The Shea Moisture Jamaican Black castor oil leave-in and smoothie work amazingggg sis!! You NEED to try them on your gina curl! Your hair looks bomb girl! I love it💕
I get why you did it. I can’t imagine having my texture with YOUR density. It looks a little dryer but hopefully a trim & some honey will help. I’m really curious about the upkeep
Whew Chile everybody dying to have 3 c texture..ladies love your natural texture, find out how to moisture your unique texture and take care of it..the whole point of going natural is to embrace the texture we were taught to hate..love the hair God blessed you with..this is just another form of self hate..just when I thought we were progressing
3c is also a natural hair texture. Wanting to do something different with yourself doesn’t mean you hate yourself and at the end of the day it’s just hair.
Hey hun, if you watched my most recent video you would see that I did take care of my hair and embrace my texture.. which is how I grew it long. And I didn’t “go natural”, I been natural since 1997. Wanting to try something different isn’t “self hate”. I can always go back natural in the future :)

I love when black women embrace their natural hair, and I hope that tighter textures can become more "culturally acceptable" and represented, especially for the next generation. However, at the end of the day, it's her hair and she can do whatever she wants. Based on her recent video, this was done for manageability, not to conform to societal standards, so I can appreciate that part :) but I do want to add that I don't think type 4 hair is anymore difficult to manage then type 3 bc imo that depends on density, thickness, length, etc. Just saying that for anyone who was considering perming their hair in this way as well. All curls need love
tighter textures are culturally acceptable. it’s just that no one wants to detangle it every damn day or deal w frizz. y’all act like natural hair isn’t a lot to deal w
It is culturally acceptable. Let's be honest, the reason most black women change their hair or wear wigs or only wear protective styles is because they either simply just prefer it or because of time and the stress it takes to take care of natural kinky hair. Even in Sub saharan Africa where 99% of people are black, many black women still use relaxers, wear wigs and all this other stuff. People like to pretend a lot. But in all honesty, if you were to take a survey of the exact reason why each black woman changed her hair or doesn't wear her natural hair, cultural accebtibility would not be the reason why. How many black women do you know who don't have a job because they have natural hair.
Man I really want this. The maintenance of relaxers but with the your hair looking natural. A lot of the Gina curl results kind of looks like the results of a twist or braid out!
I agree my hair is the same length but I’m afraid to try anything like this because it’s damaging and you can’t reverse it. I’m curious to see what her hair will look like a year from now.
She wants her hair this texture not a wig and I think the fact that her hair is long when straightened but not in its natural state bothers her so oh well🤷🏾♀️
I'm starting to believe that the ppl that are hateful about other natural ppl hair are just scared to try something different😉😊it's just hair ...love it, keep it healthy, and have fun ...it turned out beautifully.😍
This is the same as a Wave Nouveau. My aunts wore this in the 80's, as did all the 80's video vixens. Turned out beautiful!!!! Saw your update video and left you some shampoo and conditioner options. Overall your hair is bomb!!!! Another excellent deep conditioner is TGIN's Honey Miracle Mask. If you don't want to spend the money, use Queen Helene's Cholesterol Treatment and mix it with pure honey. Sit under a hooded dryer for 15-20 minutes(with plastic cap). Rinse with cool water to lock in moisture. Hope this helps. Best of luck!!!!
As it grows, her hair is going to remain the original texture, right? What’s the point of doing this if it’s constantly going to need to be touched up?
Well it's a lot easier to maintain a texture more similar to your natural texture than it is to maintain a straight relaxer. It also looks more natural than a straight perm tbh. I see the appeal
You can say the same for dying your hair. Why did you do that to your hair if you’d just have to retouch up if you want it to stay as vibrant or change it? Guess it’s because you wanted to 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️

Soooo...my hair us 4C and I LOVE it. However, It takes a lot of time to care for it. This Gina Curl looks so coolvand definitely cut down on style time, but CT? I guess I have to wait until it comes to the Southwest. It looks great.
This is definitely a curly perm from the 80's and is so so damaging to your hair as they straight perm it first then set the curls in..... I had a beautiful curly perm at 16 but it all broke of by 18.... you really have to keep it moisturised and she says she like it dry because it looks fuller but it will break off and you will regret this decision. You look beautiful before and after sis😇 I this is not the new trend.
With the right products, we can easily and naturally stretch our curls, especially with waist length natural hair your curls usually does or can elongate naturally with the right style. I know everyone is going to do whatever they want with their hair but just be conscious of the long term adverse effects of using chemicals in our hair. Anything we put on our scalp effects us internally even though we may not notice it now.
I have one (for many years). Looks like her hair, mid-back length & natural looking. Transitioning to natural hair now. My natural hair is 4a and I love it much better than the curl. Nothing against her hair. It’s beautiful though.
Getting a ginacurl is honestly the best decision I’ve ever made for my hair. I’m 4c and neveeer wore my hair. It took too much work. But now...... I don’t even wear wigs anymore.
I ended up getting the Gina curl on 2 occasions and my hair was shredding and breaking off like I’ve never seen it before on my last retouch. Never straightened my hair and washed it 2 times a week. Thought it would help for easier hair maintenance but ended up with a big chop and starting over. If it’s working for her that’s amazing. But ladies as you come across other folks that do the Gina curl you will not hear about constant up dates to the process after maybe 2 years. As a black woman let’s not let these folks play with your hair. I took a chance and my choice was horrible. On a good note, I’m embracing the short hair cut and excited for the new hair journey.
I’ve had a wave nouveau for 7 years and nothing has ever been that easy. You just have to moisturise your hair in the morning with a curl activator and you’re ready to go. Deep conditioning helps as well. If you have a good stylist who knows how to do the WN the maintenance is very minimal and your hair grows very well.
I would understand the self hate or hair hate accusations if you were bald...but you clearly know how to take care of type 4 hair, lol. It came nice! Do you girl lol

Everyone’s hair doesn’t loosen into the curl they want because everyone doesn’t have the same pattern. She wanted more control of how her hair curled and obviously had the money. You get what you pay for
The Gina Curl isn’t a curly perm luv. Curly perms have overlap and need to stay wet to prevent breakage. The Gina curl is a Japanese Thermal System. So there’s less breakage and a more consistent curl over time. Titi Lavish has some vids on it too
The size of the perm rods and the placement before chemical is applied determines the outcome. Because she has a natural curl pattern they applied the chemicals before the perm rod set. Usually strait hair is set before chemical is applied. If she adds any protein treatments it will repair her keratin bonds and remove the results hair will revert back natural quicker. That's y jheri Curl's had their own moisturizing products. JCJ to match the chemicals
Does it really revert back? Or will it break off with protein treatments? The other Gina curl UA-camr got her 4C hair to waist length and I’m tryna see something...🤔 also will it severely damage fine high porosity hair?
The before and after...wow...what a difference. I think the end result is very pretty. The price tag was too high...but, you look great and seem happy.👏❤
It was pretty after! 🙌🏾 I remember when I was natural at one point and I let my girlfriend put a curl kit in my head I looked like I was half Puerto Rican or something lol it loosened my curl pattern really nicely and it was really really pretty because just like you I didn't have time to manage my natural hair it was too much chile😩🤣 so I understand how you feel but your hair came out so pretty keep us updated! 💕
Looks so beautiful I’m really debating on getting one because my natural hair has great curl definition without any products but my roots are so bushy and freeze. I think this will save me time.
So... no one is going to talk about hair texture hate? How many fake UA-camrs have done this “curly perm”? Don’t come for me! I don’t do Black on Black crime🙄😒
I was thinking the same thing. As someone with "3b/3c" hair I always receive criticism in the natural hair community because my hair doesn't represent the majority of black women but now there are chemicals to make hair similar to mine and all of a sudden we are praising it? Also what's the difference between this and women who relax their hair? I'm not trying to come at anyone I just want clarity. However someone chooses to wear their hair is their business, but we can't downplay what this is.
Looser hair is more manageable for a lot of ppl. Doesn’t mean that you hate your texture. I have 3c/4a hair and it’s still hard to manage at times. Some people do things just for easier maintenance.
Same now I’ve started liking my hair coz it’s long but that hate just comes right back during washday land every washday I find myself looking at hairs talent Instagram 😭😭but the price and I live in Canada so it’s like the price

You have to stop eating meat and dairy products. You can start slow with just removing all dairy products from your diet. When you wake up in the morning and after washing face and brushing your teeth drink room temperature spring water. Try to drink two bottles. Then make green tea with lemon, ginger, pitch of cayenne and honey. Do this every day consistently to see results. Try to do a smoothie for lunch then your dinner should be large green salad and you can do fish if you must have meat but you can substitute with mushrooms. A full body detox would really help you. Make sure that at night you take some type of colon cleanser. If you’re consistent you will see the difference. I do carry natural herbs like colon cleanser, parasite killer, mucus remover, multi vitamins that contain no fillers, or any other harmful ingredients that they put in commercial products at your local pharmacy stores, on my website. I also have full body detox with menu available on my website. I do sell out fast but will be restocking this week. Our bodies are amazing at telling us when something is wrong and needs our attention. Things like chronic runny nose, pain (like headaches) and so many other signs is the way our bodies communicate with us. Let me know if you try anything and update about your runny nose.
For all that that’s what it look like ?? You could get that from wash and go! . It looks like a frizzy twist out or how your hair looks from it being braided and taken out for a while
It looks frizzy because she didn't put any product in it. Even white women with straight hair will have frizzy hair with no product. You don't just stop taking care of your hair because you get a Gina Curl or a Relaxer. 👀
I had the exact same problem with my nose and I started using Nasacort nasal spray and it took care of everything. No more nasal allergies! If you have pets in your home you might be allergic. Wow! That's beautiful. I never liked the way my hair looked after a relaxer. It would just look dry, but your curly perm is awesome. Your hair does not look dry and looked straighter when she rinsed it out then most relaxers I've seen. Good job. I personally don't have the patience for chemicals because I would have to keep getting it done but hey, I like your results.
How does this get retouched? Do you have to go through the entire process again? Every few months? I can't see them just doing the roots since you need the rods to curl it. Seems exhausting and expensive 🤔
I called because I was curious about touch ups, and touch ups are pretty much same price as the actual gina curl itself! Imagine paying like $600-700 every 4 months 😫and if you’re hair is longer it’s more money
@@ExclusivelyEJ There's no way the touch up is as simple as retouching a relaxer. The rods give the curl so you would have to basically sit through the entire process again. Am sure just the chemicals go on the roots but again the rods and drying times would be the same.....
@@Wondergirl82837 Yeah I saw a video the salon put out that says the retouch actually takes longer and they "honor" the original price so yeah your looking at $500 to $1000 plus every time you need a touch up. They recommend every 6 months so you'll even have to manage the 2 textures which really sucks. Anyone who has transitioned know this.
I wonder if the touch ups are similar to the Jheri curls because when I had the Jheri curl, after a few months I had to get it touched up but the entire process was repeated with the rods and curl activator. Seems like the gina curl is way less greasy than the Jheri curl. At night I had to sleep with a plastic cap on my head to keep my curls from drying out. It was a mess. Just to think I was in elementary school having to deal with the jokes from other kids. It seemed like I had to keep my curls sprayed down with that activator spray to keep the hair wet all the time. It’s even worse trying to transition from the Jheri curl cause the newgrowth comes in dry and then the ends are curly and needing the curl activator. I don’t miss those days at all. Jheri curls cost about $65! Back in the 89s I believe. Shoot, at $900, thats 3 car payments.
@@felicia_716 While this is true, the managing of 2 textures is not the same as it is with a relaxer. Because the Gina Curl is not applied directly to the scalp so when the new growth comes in, there is no bend at the line of demarcation and the bonds are not as weak at that point like they are with a relaxer. Of course your hair must be maintained...that goes for any hair type and hair style so that's not new. The Gina Curl doesn't dig into the DNA and change the hair texture. It's a process like other chemical treatments. It's just a lot milder and helps with maintenance especially for busy lifestyles. The one thing you won't find though is anyone who had a Gina Curl who experienced mass shedding and hair breakage. We can't all be lying...especially not after paying that much.
As someone with 3c curls, I can tell she does not have that. It’s looks more like heat damage. Just like relaxer, this will eventually ruin her hair. In fact this is probably worse as it sits on the hair for longer
Every natural hair girl that gets this seems to experience breakage. I want to get it too so crossing my fingers that maybe there was an issue with their maintenance 🤞🏽I’ll be following your journey 🥰
@@jaynahub8287 I’ve decided not to get it. Even this girl’s hair appear to be thinning to me. Everyone I’ve seen do it seems to experience damage in some way that requires them to cut their hair. I haven’t seen anyone maintain it and their hair still looks good.

My mom has a running nose all her life...
It’s not as common as it used to be and she does good work. I’d charge more too
That's not true.
If you try a treatment that stops breakages it helps the hair stay full and grow longer, because it preserves the hair.

Your hair is gorgeous, before and after the Gina curl! I love it!
FYI: I've always been advised by my hairstylist not to wash my hair for 72 hours after having a perm, but you can rinse it and use a salon-recommended styling product for permed hair.
omg love the hair! you not asking for an autograph is so respectful big up to you!
I was so excited when I seen a new review of the Gina Curl I go an get mine in January I'm so excited 😁
Hope you like it!😊
Your going to LOVE it.😁
How long does it lasts
If you want this look and don't want to do a braid out, just get a texturizer. It will loosen your curl pattern, and probably look just as nice and cost way less, as well as less chemical time on the hair. Suggestion: Before you decide to get the GinaCurl go look at tex lax videos first. Let me know what you think.
You will love it! I got mine and I couldn't be happier with how much my hair maintenance time was cut.
The before is giving me Ari Lennox vibes, it’s beautiful either way I just hope it doesn’t damage her beautiful hair.
Am I the only one who thinks the end result of this process looked a bit damaging? Not sure if it’s the way the hair is being manipulated but the hair gave me weak vibes. Almost like she’s transitioning from perm to natural. It didn’t look like full, natural, bouncy, curls like all the other “3C” looking natural hair. Not hating, just a simple observation.
If I dropped $900 on my hair, I’d see what I want to see too!
It’s so tempting. Us type 4a want to be able to show our length but at what cost?
@@miszsaii24 just the cost of different products and maintenance. Hair is hair

Same thing happened to me omg !!! My hairdresser switched products though, that's when it started breaking off to me.
She uses the Japanese straightener and it seems her clients retain their length. 🤷♀️
With the right products, we can easily and naturally stretch our curls, especially with waist length natural hair your curls usually does or can elongate naturally with the right style. I know everyone is going to do whatever they want with their hair but just be conscious of the long term adverse effects of using chemicals in our hair. Anything we put on our scalp effects us internally even though we may not notice it now.
this is literally just a carefree curl bye gina 🙄
😂
I know right
I have one (for many years). Looks like her hair, mid-back length & natural looking. Transitioning to natural hair now. My natural hair is 4a and I love it much better than the curl. Nothing against her hair. It’s beautiful though.

So it still chemically processed ?? 😖😖 the thought of it
Her hair looks much better after good job
um her hair was always pretty stop it
Getting a ginacurl is honestly the best decision I’ve ever made for my hair. I’m 4c and neveeer wore my hair. It took too much work. But now...... I don’t even wear wigs anymore.
How long have you had it for? How do you maintain the new growth
You will need to keep going back for touch ups for your new growth. Let us know how it goes.
I do understand wanting to get this process to see your length. ♥️♥️
Its not for you to understand as long as she knows what she is doing. 🙄
It's going to be hell to maintain once it starts to grow out, but good luck with it.💕
I’ve had a wave nouveau for 7 years and nothing has ever been that easy. You just have to moisturise your hair in the morning with a curl activator and you’re ready to go. Deep conditioning helps as well. If you have a good stylist who knows how to do the WN the maintenance is very minimal and your hair grows very well.
THAT's when it starts to break! have to keep getting it redone or cut it off!
I would understand the self hate or hair hate accusations if you were bald...but you clearly know how to take care of type 4 hair, lol. It came nice! Do you girl lol
If she was bald she would have lost hair. But if she alters her hair then that is preference for a looser texture and that could be considered self hate

@@briad1261 Well she got beat $900 smh. This is maybe $200-$300 max.
Can I have your before hair the thickness yes

Looks so beautiful I’m really debating on getting one because my natural hair has great curl definition without any products but my roots are so bushy and freeze. I think this will save me time.
So... no one is going to talk about hair texture hate? How many fake UA-camrs have done this “curly perm”? Don’t come for me! I don’t do Black on Black crime🙄😒
We don’t spread hair texture hate, we love all textures and think they are beautiful. We offer people an easier option that will provide conveniency.
@@GinaCurl easier option. What does that mean?
@@imdinma9826 More manageable, less manipulation, less product and retains length and health
Some people do things just for easier maintenance.
someone with 4c hair, i really want this. I’ve been transitioning for basically 4 years and it’s stressful. Glad you happy with your hair

don’t use God’s name in vain
You could get that from wash and go! . It looks like a frizzy twist out or how your hair looks from it being braided and taken out for a while
She obviously wanted results that would last for longer than a few days
It looks frizzy because she didn't put any product in it. Even white women with straight hair will have frizzy hair with no product. You don't just stop taking care of your hair because you get a Gina Curl or a Relaxer. 👀
I had the exact same problem with my nose and I started using Nasacort nasal spray and it took care of everything. No more nasal allergies! If you have pets in your home you might be allergic. I have two cats and a dog and I suspect they trigger some allergies. I also take Xyzal. These have helped me so much! No more itchy nose. No more runny nose!
Very nice results! I speculate that the Gina curl is a very expensive service considering the time it took to complete the entire process.
Your hair came out bomb! 🔥
your hair is giving me life
Exactly
