  • ⭐️GINA CURL Curly Perm Wash Day Routine START to FINISH! ⭐️
Hi everyone!! Today I'm showing you my Gina Curl wash day routine from start to finish. Quick disclaimer: you are supposed to wash your hair 2x per week. Again, do not go this long without washing your hair. Also, after shampooing your hair the first time you are supposed to rinse it out and go back and shampoo a second time. For example, shampoo, rinse, shampoo again, rinse, then add conditioner. I did that, but did not show it in the video. Let me know in the comments what else you guys would like to see! Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe! :)

I don't think so. It was like that the second or third time I washed my hair after the perm, so I didn't really have any new growth yet.

I refuse to do my whole wash day in the shower, I just can't. I prepoo out of the shower. Shampoo in the shower. Put my deep conditioner on out of the shower, detangle. Rinse the deep conditioner out in the shower. Then get out of the shower detangle some more then style. I can't see how ppl with long hair can just stand in the shower for hours on end washing their hair I would be crying. It takes me 2 days for the whole process but it's less stressful. Sometimes I deep condition overnight 🥴🤷🏾‍♀️ but my hair be so soft 🤩

Yeah, I got long hair too, and its color-treated. I would never understand how anyone does a full routine in the shower, I can't stand it. 😂 Like my music would start to annoy me. And Luv, hair isn't meant to stay wet for so long, it can cause damage overtime to deep condition over night. If you want to because it makes it easier for you, try using a microfiber towel first right out the shower, let some of that water soak up, and then apply your deep conditioner, and then put the towel back on your hair until your going to bed and just have your hair in a bonnet or something, but not a shower cap that's going to trap in all that heat and water on your scalp and hair all night. Some things aren't meant to be heated for so long. Just a tip, cause I would hate for your hair to start breaking off and getting mussy from either overload of moisture or protein depending on the treatment you're using.

Just make sure to look at the ingredients b4 using any products after you get the treatment. Amino Acids is one to stay away from as it's protein, Keratin as well. Rice water, Henna and Fenugreek you may want to stay away from. Those are not necessarily protein treatments but act like protein due to the strengthening properties. Now it seems like the young generation who just discovered curly perms ate applying their natural hair care regimen of frequent washing to curly perms. Honest question- is that what the stylist recommended ? It seems like you could dry or damage a curl with excessive washing. I read where one girl washes every 3 days. I’m just curious. Either the old schoolers didn’t wash enough or the new schoolers wash too much or …??

It’s that accent I get the same thing. Your hair looks nice; but your natural hair was like Vavoom!! I love the texture and fullness; the ginacurl made it look so thin!! I wonder what the long term affects of this are? A lot of these perm chemicals are carcinogens. your skin is an organ anything you put on it arbors so into your bloodstream. Be careful. You’re still young so you have time to let it grow out if you decide it isn’t for you. Best of luck of you!!

Wave nouveau, care free curl, Hawaiian silky, design essentials… all of these are options ans the same as Gina but affordable. Gina says her method is different because she eliminated step two of the two step perm process but in some videos that doesn’t seem totally correct ?? and also your stylist can elongate step two of any other perm.
You can also choose your rod size and roller set style. And no matter which curly perm you get you can use any of the other curly perm products (moisturizers, sprays, shampoos, etc)

You want to add moisture and hydration.

Sorry to see you put chemicals on your beautiful, healthy hair. Your natural hair is way more amazing than the “permed-curled” version. Our Heavenly Father did not make a “mistake” when he blessed you with your natural head of hair. When you alter your natural curl pattern with man-made chemicals - you are in essence saying “how Our Heavenly Father made me is not good enough for me, so I’m going to change it because I know what looks best on me” - It’s insulting to the One who created us. Most of us have been there before, so I get it. But let me just say: you are enough... with all your thick, curly, kinky hair. You are smart, beautiful and relevant. Our original, perfect hair texture is the best hair in the world - we don’t need to alter it so that it looks more like the “other” people’s hair. We are the original people; Hunny we got the best skin, booties, intelligence, bodies, smiles, stamina, talents, skills and HAIR! Blessings~
