If you put enough product then you should be able to, but the curl has also loosened a little bit over time. In this video I had little to no product left in my hair because I went to the beach, so my curls weren't as defined.
Gina curl is just too permanent in my opinion, and a money pit as well since you have to always get a touch-up... if you like to switch things up, and I always say leave your options open for change.

I beg the different, I have spoken to many of them. You can research the old Deva Curl. I did the research, I have had a jerri curl and now I have the Gina curl. But why are Gina Curls soo expensive. Like it don’t even take too much time. Why are relaxers and texturizers cheaper. I feel like any hair style that looks natural and beautiful these hair dressers always want to be charging so much!!! Like GinaCurls, and Microlinks. Like so expensive more than braids, locs, and wig installs and they don’t even take long!!!
I was fascinated to see the return of the curly perm, which was around in the 80's. It's strange to see it make a come back once again. I cannot have this procedure done to my hair as I was born with naturally curly hair type 3A/3B. It looks exactly like the hair you are trying to have, as I was born as a biracial mix race person with this type of hair. I do fined it fascinating to watch, black people try to turn their hair into my hair type, I feel honored to see people of color, try to have my hair texture. I use to be very envious of people who had straight hair and wish that I was born with straight hair. Eventually I learn to love my own hair type, which is classified as a type 3A/3B hair and am now embracing my own natural curls for the first type in a long time. Its been 7 years now since I've embrace my natural hair free from relaxers. God bless all hair types and may we learn to "love", the hair we was born with!!!
People who are complaining need to produce all these bad results they claim exist because of the GinaCurl...I have yet to find one. Even from women who have had this technique for years and hair almost down to their waist now. Gina's work speaks for itself and only further solidifies and justifies the price she charges. The rest can stay mad. ☕️ OR...they can get their favorite stylist to invest in Gina's program that certifies and teaches other stylists in her technique and they can drop the prices on their own (which we all know won't happen so stop pretending as if a black stylist will somehow charge less for the GinaCurl when they won't). 👀
Why did you get it? I still don't understand. Is it easier to deal with? Because your natural hair was already curly. So I'm still confused as to why you got it. Oooh, had to watch more haha

Other races desire the versatility of our hair. For that I will no longer add chemicals of any type to my head. But I hope you are happy with your hair results! All love and positivity to you!!
Do you think the curl can be as defined at let’s say month 4 as it is on day 1 .
Do you know any curl treatments that aren’t permanent? Like where the hair reverts to the natural texture?
Keratin treatment, or texture release treatment by avlon
it looks so good
Does your hair tend to break off at demarcation?
Ok, so $900 for the initial process was steep but I get it. However $900 for the retouch is a no go for me. Do you boo and rock that pretty mane. You're going to be a doctor anyways lol!
This is ridiculous! Lol
The way it looks you better off getting a straight perm and getting curly hair style with rollers or something because by looks of it it the same as regular straight perm once you wear your straight curls out at the end of the day your curls will loosen hair now just looks stretch out and dry looking curls you can barely see it... It doesn't look healthy at all just my opinion
I’ve seen videos where they said their hair is coming out after the Gina curl
That is because they use Deva curl cream. Deva change there
Former.
@@shirleysoutherland7795 no there’s been numerous people who commented about it. They never mentioned deva curl.
I beg the different, I have spoken to many of them.
You can research the old Deva
Curl. I did the research, I have had a jerri curl and now I have the Gina curl. I did buy one can of the old Deva curl cream and
used it maybe 1 or 2 time,
I did not like the cream. My hair did not fall out. My experience was I met server woman at the
shop with long hair and have been use the Gina curl. I myself
have the Gina curl and love it.
@@shirleysoutherland7795 plenty of forums filled with people showing pics and videos of their messed up Gina curl
@@Sam-fg9lf I when I speak I deal with data and facts, on Facebook there were plenty of women who experience hair loss due to the Deve cream.
There was a lawsuit that was file against Deva cream. Now
they did change the formula.
Check out Anne O Nyme videos.
I want to get this done
With which products can I get a gina curl?
Do you think you could do this yourself with damage?
Lol that lady is robbing yall.
I want to wear my hair out as well!!!
Where did you go to get it done? Did you go the Dominicans?
you look so good love

Ok black beauticians should learn this process. I said what I sd
Gina does classes there are black hairstyles who preform this….
Actually I can lookup a list of them, Gia curl certified stylus most of them are black
Its a cute jheri curl
It’s a jheri curl
Many👀 of us also forget that using these cosmetic treatments can cause internal medical conditions as well for example being linked to fertility issues such as uterine fibroids & breast cancer. But jump on that boat if you must, to each their own....I wouldn't recommend it nor pay for it 🤷🏾♀️. Love your kinky textured natural hair from "The ROOT to the TIP" & support black-owned products of cosmetologists and business owners. So that they can become billionaires too 😊 Happy Black History Month. 🖤👑💋💯
That white women is getting rich off yall paying for a Jerhi Curl. Yall need to stop
$900 😐Is your natural hair not already curly?
Is it your money?... I don't think it is 🧐
@@cocoaicci_ Is it your money? Is it your hair? Is it your channel? Make it make sense.
COULD PLEASE USE ALL CAPS SO I CAN READ YOUR POSTS BETTER.
Who did your intro? It’s super cute 🥰
Thank you! @graphicsbykimmy on instagram
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
5:41 $900 that is way too much money for me!
Is the Gina curl perm only offered at Hairs Talent salon?
Nope! On their website there is a list of other hair stylists who offer this service in different locations 😊
@@StayUniquee Thank You.
Instead of paying Gina $900 why don't you just find a black Salon that does wave Nouveau because that's what you guys are getting and it's only $100
People said their hair broke off.
OR...they can get their favorite stylist to invest in Gina's program that certifies and teaches other stylists in her technique and they can drop the prices on their own (which we all know won't happen so stop pretending as if a black stylist will somehow charge less for the GinaCurl when they won't). 👀
What's the difference between a Jerry curl, Genie curl and Wave nouveau?
You hair is cute
Is it Jheri curls? Or it's something different
It is just a tad different in process
It’s a completely different formula, Japanese Thermal
Yes it’s a modern day Jheri curl
@@notanotherone5564 it' DEFINITELY is not completely different. Gina only started doing this AFTER Jheri Redding passed away.
Jheri Curl. Her hair is too dry and she’ll be making a video soon talking about her hair fell out. Gina is a liar.
Why did you get it? I still don't understand. Is it easier to deal with? Because your natural hair was already curly. So I'm still confused as to why you got it.
Oooh, had to watch more haha
😍 beautiful
😍🙌
damn 900? um do you think you can get a brainless sew in? like is your hair strong enough for it
I would have kept up with my Protective styles
