Trike Build #3 Predator Engine Throttle Linkage Setup

This video is setting up the throttle linkage on the Predator 212 engine after the governor was removed. I realized every time I mentioned "Neutral Position" I meant to say Idle Position. Well done. Just bought a 420 and removed gov and low oil sensor Red Beard’s tutorial video was excellent but he kind of glossed over the throttle linkage.

Did you do yer throttle linkage like this? I tried it red beards way and if I hook up my throttle cable the normal way it operates the throttle backwards. Like normal resting on the linkage makes the carb wide open.

Deven Belanger Yep. Removing the governor reverses the direction of the throttle. I made a u shaped bracket and welded it to the heat shield under the muffler to mount throttle cable.

My name is David I watch the video on the Predator Motors to bypass the governor so I hook the Kaely write to the governor like they said and use the same same Springs and everything so the governor goes back and forth I tried to start it this morning it will not pull start at all it's like it's frozen pull the plug out it pulls no problem up and down valve open and close can you tell me what's wrong with it please I would do appreciate it thank you
