Doda Dado aww thank you!!! You are just too sweet 🥺 I have a UA-cam dedicated to my hair tap my name and it’ll take you there 🥰❤️ (thank you so much for any support/love)
We definitely need to normalize grey hair (as well as any other signs of ageing). Grey and silver hair is so beautiful and completely normal. Some people grow grey hair sooner than others, some really late or only grow strands of grey hair. It's a natural thing to happen❤
I knew a black family that had grey hair very early in age, even their teens had grey hair, i used to find it beautiful and mesmerizing, especially with their younger children. And I have a white coworker who has white turning blue gorgeous hair too.
I'm 28 and I have two gray strands. My natural hair is a really dark black. So when I oil my hair it doesnt even look like I have grey hairs but like anime shine lol
When your skin looks ageless, who cares about some grey hairs!. You're so blessed to have such youthful skin and a beautiful head of hair. Your grey is awesome.
Ok! My heart is beating so fast! I’ve been fighting my grey hair since I’ve been in the 9th grade! And since the pandemic I haven’t been able to go get my hair dyed! I’d started thinking about just letting it grow out! And now that I’ve seen your video...I hear God speaking to me! I’ll be coming back to this video often because I know it’s going to get rough! THANK YOU for sharing!!!
My dad hates his greys, everytime I hear someone say they hate it I get pissed like it’s so cool that your hair naturally changes color, I HOPE i become a silver fox

you re so lovely so beautiful so amazingly strong embracing your silver hair encouraging me to know am not alone with premature grey hair. I have been following you for over 2years now I was there wen you cut ur hair
Anyone thinking about ditching dye, seriously just try it! It looks stunning. I stopped using dye 7 years ago when I was 23 and had a fair few greys. I did it so I could let it transition much more subtly and I'm glad I did. 7 years later at 30 I have a ton of greys, even a couple of white stripes now and it's actually the happiest I've ever been with it. It's a gorgeous colour, I've always had almost black hair and blonde never suited me, but this grey/white is perfect and I don't look any older at all, that's a myth. My husband is also 28 and going grey like me, it's nice to literally see we are growing older together and sharing life ♥️.
I’m one of those people who can’t wait to go grey! My mother started going grey in her late 20s and I’m excited. Silver hair so beautiful! Work it girl
Me too. I'm only 22 but when I see women with grey hair who are confident about it my heart really swells. It's so beautiful, I've been trying to help my mother love her grey hair more.

New subscriber. I notice my first silver hairs at 14 years old. I am 43 now, a lot of people think I dyed my hair silver, because I look younger to them, but no all natural over here lol 😂. I love and embarrass my silver hair. I stopped dying my hair at 38 of 2016. Love yours to simply beautiful!!!
Why don't they mind their business everyone should keep it like that it's gorgeous! You just need to take care of your hair just the same and the colour will be beautiful
I recently decided to stop color treating my hair and then this video popped up on my recommended. I think the universe is telling me thats the right move 😉
Omgggggggggggg im crying I needed to hear those words of encouragement.... just dealing with life during these trying times. I literally just was praying to God and this video played right on time. Thank you. Your obedience brought me peace of mind💕💕💕💕💕💕
Sam, you saved the day & stopped the tears... I've given up coloring but today I looked at my hair & just cried. It doesn't style or look pretty the way it used to. I did the big chop from almost waist length to a tapered cut like you did, now it's Bob length... Your video encouraged me to hold tight, this too will change. I might have to watch it a few times today...lol
I'm white with straight fine hair but I always watch natural hair videos because I'm so fascinated and envious lolol. Your hair is phenomenol, it makes me sick thinking about how conditioned black women are to hate their hair. I know no one needs validation from someone like me but I am genuinely just stating my appreciation and love for natural hair. It's so gorgeous. 😍😍😍
My entire front hairline is grey..and almost every other section I part has a few greys popping out. I'm learning to embrace it but the stares I get 🤦🏿♀️
It's just that its ok to admit it now. It used to be a signal to dismiss woman when there hair went grey. Now we are raised to think of people as people and to except ourselves.
My hair is a mix between dirty blonde and a bunch of grays... dirty dishwater blonde 😂 don’t mind the grays tho I’ve never known anyone in person with as many as me at my age
I’ve always had silver hair since I was in middle school. I’m 21 now but I use to dye my hair all the time until my senior year of high school. I use to hate my silver but now I can’t wait until my silver spreads and be more vivid. I love your silver 😩 you make it look so good!!😍😍
This was such a beautiful journey! I’m a 22 year old white girl and I can only dream of having hair as beautiful as yours. I’ve found quite a few white hairs since high school within my natural brown hair, but I think that makes my hair sparkle more. I’ve never dyed my hair and watching your video solidified my view that I’m never going to cover up my grays. God bless and have a wonderful day!❤️
Wow I needed to hear this! My husband stopped me from coloring my greys 8-) I turned 35 and the grey hairs came with it. Thank you for the message and yes! God, prayer and faith all the way
I feel like me seing your video was meant to be, I was born with grey hair. But they started showing a lot when I was 10 and they started bothering me when I was 13 so I started dying my hair to hide the grey. Now I’m 18 I’m slowly accepting my grey hair and finding it beautiful. And your video is making me accepting more. Thank You 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Girl! This video I watched after an online meeting with some wonderful women. After seeing this I cried. Your transition was sooooo beautiful. It was a visual display of how self love and embracing one's self is a personal journey. It was so inspiring. Even though I am locked
your video came up and I am 50 and having gray hair isn't something that concerned me however I clicked on it and watched your journey and when it was over I realized that your message at the end was the reason your video showed up. God knows when words of encouragement are needed and today they were. Thank you.
Your hair is beautiful!!! I’m 52, and you inspired me. It’s been a year since I died my hair and I did a big chop back in Nov. My hair is so much healthier!
First, your hair is stunning regardless of colour or length. Your creativity is phenomenal. I’m in my 60’s - 20 years of dyeing my hair - and my greys started at just my hairline… for ages. Now there is progress so your advice and experience was much needed. Thank you daughter.
Mythical Mystery No, he isn't. Simply telling a woman she's beautiful isnt simping. Good luck later in life when you treat women like shit because you dont know how to respect people.
Very beautiful and an inspiring story. A friend shared this video with me because your thumbnail made her think of me. I had breast cancer in 2017 and went through chemo and all of that. When my hair came back it was predominantly silver all over. I rocked the silver until my hair got longer and then I didn’t like that in between stage as it got thicker. But this year I turned 55 and decided to embrace it 100% ... and go beyond. I crochet braid half of it silver the other half black… Curly. People stop me on the streets to tell me how much they love my hair. I laugh because it’s crochet hair however it really is very similar to what my real hair looks like... my natural hair is not as long. And my mother is 70… Hardly any gray hair🤷🏽♀️ Again, BEAUTIFUL… Your spirit, your hair, and you. Thanks for doing this video, blessing🙏🏾💗
You're giving me the encouragement!...My big chop was yesterday and I decided to embrace my silver locks!!! This video was definitely a sign from God! Thank you!🤗
You have been an inspiration to me to embrace my gray hair. I'm liberated! I'm 53 years young. Since embracing my gray. I've received so many compliments since then. I love it. Believe it or not, it makes me look younger being naturally gray. And men love love love to see a CONFIDENT woman who embraces there inner beauty. You're still beautiful no MATTER the style.
Same! First gray showed at 19 and have been fighting it for decades. Just big chopped the color treated part last month. Instantly felt better the dyed/gray combo was gone. Now patiently waiting for it to grow back out. Your videos have been inspiring 😊❤
Henna have chemicals, if you are not using the natural indigo color red. In order to treat the henna , for other such as, black a chemical is added. So henna is not all natural.
@@Ap-mh4lc You can't buy boxed henna. Order online from an all natural place that does not add salts and chemicals. Get just the pure henna (only comes in red from nature, other "henna" colors are actually other plants, not henna) and add pure indigo (only comes in black/purple) to get different shades of black and brown. You have to mix the henna with something acidic (like orange juice or red wine) and let it sit overnight so the plant releases the color. Henna from Yemen covers gray, if that's what you're going for. Most others don't. Mehandi.com is the best resource for it. I've been ordering from them for years, even now that I no longer live in the U.S. They ship all over the world. I've written about natural beauty products for magazines for many years, so I've researched this a lot.
Thank you for the inspiration! 🥰You are Beautiful, and so is your hair! I finally embraced my color about 9months now. But, I keep it short & wear silver braids . With you showing so many hairstyles! 😍🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤩 I'm inspired to embrace my own. Although my curl pattern is 4c. And a lot tighter. God bless you.🙏🏾💛😍
I smiled the whole time 😊... Turned 30 this year and I had my first silver hair in 8th grade. About two years ago more and more silver and white hair showed up. I have my days I’m loving it, then others I’m like I’m an old mama 🙌🏽.... this is definitely inspiring because I too said goodbye to coloring my hair and I have just a bit of color left on my ends. I’ve been embracing my white hairs and can’t wait til the color is all gone! I always say people will either think I’m just young with white hair, or a Grandma with young skin... either way I’m cool 👩🏽🦳
Your look amazing with your grays I hope I look tht good with all mine im just noticing some silvers and im in my early forties its a little annoying and I don't really want them but my question is how do u lay them down when flat ironing or putting it in a pony tail I am also a natural but just got a relaxer a few months ago for the first time in years thank you for sharing your video with us
So well documented. I am on my ugly duckling phase right now after shaving off my hair coz I listened to my inner voice to release myself from hiding my greyhair since my teenage years and I hope I can reach the same aesthetic level as yours. But girl, the social pressure is real, doubts, insecurity, overthinking
@@LifeIsSoDangGood it's liberating, and I also got many positive feedbacks from the people around me either online or offline. It's just kinda suits my style
You just inspired me to embrace my silver hair. I have been contemplating on doing the big chop for over a yr because I let my roots grow then recolor. Also thank you for acknowledging God in your videos and being a true lady in your speech. You are Beautiful my sister😇.
I'm 45 now and I'm starting to see sporadic grey hairs popping up. They're not too noticeable because of how thick and curly my hair is, but they're there. You're hair is absolutely beautiful and looking at your transition is helping ease any anxiety I might be having about this and just fully embrace it as it happens.
I feel the same way. I have had braids 7 weeks now and my grey roots are shining through. I’m seriously considering allowing my grey hair to continue without dye.
This is exactly how my hair greyed. I loved it!! Over time, however, the white hair got extremely wispy and broke. I now use henna & indigo to save the white hair. My temples and crown thank me.
I have grey hair. & a lot of people notices it and talks about it/ makes fun of it. I understand bc I have so much at a young age. But because of this video, you made me more confident bc I was so insecure & I really wanted to dye my hair black but now I don’t really feel ashamed. ✨
I LOVE this video, uplifting, motivating and just everything! Being a young girl where I first started seeing grey around 17/18 years old was at first very discouraging and at the time I was embarrassed but now that I am 36 I am SOO ready for my whole head to be grey ❤thank you for this beautiful 😍
Having grey/ natural hair is a natural thing for women. Its apart of life. Most women would've dyed that out already, but you learn to take good care of it and embrace the hell out of it. I live how beautifully the styles turn out as well.❤
This was such an inspiring and beautiful video! The message you sent is beyond hair, but about embracing who we truly are meant to be 💕 thank you queen!
The natural mix of silver in your hair looks so beautiful. A lot of people actually colour their hair to look like your amazing silver colours. You are Beautiful darling
I just had to subscribe! I find people who appreciate their natural hair so appealing! That doesn't mean I don't like weaves or any other styles, but I just feel that we have to embrace our natural hair also. I need patience to grow my hair. I big chopped last year and my hair isn't even a quarter closer to your length, 😀 but it is thicker than it has ever been my whole life. So I love it.
Your silver hair is really amazing - seriously, and you are gorgeous. I totally get it when you said you felt in your spirit it was time to let the dye go. I've felt like this and and been dye-free for about 10 years and get a lot of compliments on my silver hair - best decision. I really enjoyed this video - NEW SUB!
I really love how your hair is I saw another lady with golden hair in the middle and I was astonished,I had never seen anyone with another hair colour except gray hair.
Never knew the difference between grey hair and silver hair until a YOUNG lady said OMG!!!! ma'am your silver strands are beautiful!!! I was like silver? She said YES your hair is not grey it's silver mixed with the black it's the shiny salt n' pepper look...I was like ooooh okay🤗 definitely going to embrace my silver now!!!HAAAAAY 😆
Your hair is gorgeous! I'm a silver fox and saw my first gray at age 20. I never colored my hair to conceal the grey but rather to add honey blond or reddish hues but my grays would never take the color so I gave up and started wearing the salt and pepper. I get compliments everyday from all types of people, men, women, black and white. Keep rocking yours and setting an awesome example for beauty.
I’ve got a little silver patch in the middle of my head after watching this video I hope it spreads like wildfire and looks half as good as yours!! Thanks for sharing your journey!!!
This makes me want to try again to learn how to do my natural hair. I have already dumped all chemical process. Now I am battling dryness and length retention.
I know this is a bit late but I’d totally recommend the curly girl method! It can be really good for healing your hair ❤️ (p.s. if you’re still battling dryness I’d recommend get hair products with humectants in them :)
This is a wonderful video. I am 64 years old and often struggle with allowing my pure white (not silver) hair to be. Thank you for sharing and being very honest.
Was standing in front of the mirror pulling out my grey strands five minutes before sitting on my couch then UA-cam recommended this video, this is so creepy, but I watched till the end and now I won’t be pulling out my greys anymore
I was 16 the first time I saw a gray hair 18 the first time someone else noticed one. I'm currently 21 and my gray hairs are still just a sparkle here and there, but I know they keep increasing and I probably only have a couple years until my hair becomes more visibly gray. Seeing young people rocking silver hair like you makes me feel a lot more optimistic about my future :)
Girl, you were blessed in a time where silver hair is trendy. But even if it weren't a trend, you rocking your hair and embracing it makes it so cool. I honestly love your hair ❤
Your silver hair was your blue eyes, your dimples, your teeth gap, your melanin etc... you get the point and you were hiding your beauty mark all those years. The Most High I believe is pleased with this! ❤
You are Beautiful I'm 54 I just started my gray color journey I want to say Thank you for this video you TRULY inspired me I'm not walking on this path alone I've been doing my hair in quite a bit of protective styles so prayer & faith is the key
I read all your lovely comments, and it's amazing to see how many people this video has inspired and continues to inspire. I want to encourage you to keep going and truly hope that you enjoy the journey you're on. Thank you for all the love; I love and appreciate each and every one of you. ❤🙏🏾
I’m extremely jealous of your hair! I LOVE grey hair, even as a kid (it was a feature on my grandma that I absolutely loved)! I wish I had grey hair, but I only have 1 :(
I am in love with your silver hair. I also did a big chop to go fully grey and it was coming through nicely. Out of fear of being too young I colored it again and that set me back so far. I wish I had seen this video as encouragement before I colored it again but I am now back on my silver journey. Stay beautiful 😍
Such a beautiful lady with a beautiful spirit. Thank you for all the encouragement that you give us all as we travel the road to embracing our natural highlights also known as grey hair 🙈 Be Blessed always🙏🏾🥰
The best thing in this world is to love how God created you. You've made the most right decision. God loves you. You have beautiful hair. I have learnt a lot from you. I am a new subscriber. Thank you for inspiring many of us. God bless.
So freaking Beautiful!!! I've always thought silver hair was/is so gorgeous, especially on black women! I've always said I can't wait until I have a FULL silver fro. I only have 2 greys (that i LOVE), so it's gonna be a while. Patiently waiting until I get much more. Keep up the great work and super cute styling. It's so STUNNING!!!!
If my hair doesn’t gray this way I’m gonna be so hurt 😢 the depth is phenomenal and so is her and her hair! 😍
Haaaa me too 😍😍😍😍
Okkkk!
If your hair doesn't grey like that, it would still be phenomenal.
I can see your hair on your profile picture and it is simply phenomenal.

It’s ironic because it looks dyed, in a good way.

Kinda like the stares we got when the older generations first went natural! More women (young and old) should go grey! Then it will be no big deal.

I'm a guy so I'm not really into this kind of thing. But I've watched a number of her videos only because she's so extremely beautiful!
Lol
I think so too
Then you're a obsessive simp
Mythical Mystery
No, he isn't. Simply telling a woman she's beautiful isnt simping.
Good luck later in life when you treat women like shit because you dont know how to respect people.

Just saw how beautiful your hair was in this thumbnail so I had to click.. your gorgeous..
The silver hair & your young face works so well together.
I've finally let my silver/grey just flow, but the moisture issues are real.
Same! First gray showed at 19 and have been fighting it for decades. Just big chopped the color treated part last month. Instantly felt better the dyed/gray combo was gone. Now patiently waiting for it to grow back out. Your videos have been inspiring 😊❤
The color is gorgeous 😍. For those that want to dye their hair without damaging it you can always use henna or indigo
Henna have chemicals, if you are not using the natural indigo color red. In order to treat the henna , for other such as, black a chemical is added. So henna is not all natural.

@@Ap-mh4lc If you use pure henna powder, it is 100% natural. That is just the concentrated form from the henna plant.
Maybe even Overtone? 😊
I'm inspired to embrace my own. Although my curl pattern is 4c. And a lot tighter. God bless you.🙏🏾💛😍
I know I shouldn’t have clicked, this is none of my business... DAMN you’re BEAUTIFUL.
I Love Love Love your silver hair!!! It doesn’t make you look older. You still have a youthful look. Just Beautiful!!!
As Samantha myself (aka Sam)this video helped know that it’s okay to embrace my gray/ silver. Thank you! for the encouragement and pride.
How is your hair journey going? I’m considering allowing my greys to show. This video is so inspiring. 😊
@@LifeIsSoDangGood it's liberating, and I also got many positive feedbacks from the people around me either online or offline. It's just kinda suits my style
@@satriadibasuki That’s so great to hear!
I am so blessed by this video. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
You are really making me consider embracing my silver hair.
"Have faith & pray", thank you, I needed to hear that.
You're hair is gorgeous 💕
What a beautiful video from a beautiful soul. Thanks Samantha, it was just what I needed. Cheers!
Omg I’m in love I’m only 25 you have made me feel when I get older with greys it’s ok embrace it ❤️ every hair style was awesome 👏🏽
Such a beautiful head of hair at every stage 😍
I love seeing women comfortable enough to embrace their gray hair.
I really love how your hair is I saw another lady with golden hair in the middle and I was astonished,I had never seen anyone with another hair colour except gray hair.
My moms hair grows in gold and a deep auburn color. I’m always begging her not to dye it smh lol
Beautiful hair at all stages and colors.
Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness- Proverbs 16:31
This is beautiful ❤
AMEN❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing. So true.
am i the only one who always loved how humans get grey hair and cant wait to rock it on myself. her hair is so beautiful 😍
I’ve got a little silver patch in the middle of my head after watching this video I hope it spreads like wildfire and looks half as good as yours!! Thanks for sharing your journey!!!
I love this because I’m 31 and I have a head full of grey hair and hate how old I look with it but you make me want to embrace it
I’ll probably come back to this video when I get to this stage of life ☺️
Your hair is gorgeous!
This makes me want to try again to learn how to do my natural hair. I have already dumped all chemical process. Now I am battling dryness and length retention.
UA-cam is my bestfriend. My daughter and I are natural 3yrs
I know this is a bit late but I’d totally recommend the curly girl method! It can be really good for healing your hair ❤️
(p.s. if you’re still battling dryness I’d recommend get hair products with humectants in them :)
Try looking up moisturizing routines on natural hair on UA-cam. There's tons of videos to retain moisture. I'm sure one of them will work!
I pull mine out after every wash day.
Your hair is gorgeous and you have helped me with my silver hair. Thank you. I just need to learn how to flat twist.
Aaww I’m so happy to hear that. That’s all I want.. helping others 🤎🤎🤎
Girl, you were blessed in a time where silver hair is trendy.
But even if it weren't a trend, you rocking your hair and embracing it makes it so cool. I honestly love your hair ❤
You’re so beautiful, you remind me of Farrah Franklyn, a very brief member of the girl group Destiny’s Child.
Your silver hair was your blue eyes, your dimples, your teeth gap, your melanin etc... you get the point and you were hiding your beauty mark all those years. The Most High I believe is pleased with this!
❤
If you’re not quite there yet, there’s always henna and indigo ladies! That said, wow!
You are Beautiful I'm 54 I just started my gray color journey I want to say Thank you for this video you TRULY inspired me I'm not walking on this path alone I've been doing my hair in quite a bit of protective styles so prayer & faith is the key
As soon as you said your name I was like: she must be Surinamese/Dutch!
For me it was her accent😄
Aaww I love this!! Thank you ❤️
After seeing your beautiful silver hair journey I am fully convinced at almost 60 years young I am ready to completely go gray😍
Where I come from, when you are born with or have gray ( silver ) hair early meant you had good luck
The grey is soooooo PRETTY! And they aren’t all dull and wispy! Obsessed!
