Silver is another color and a beautiful one. I think it's stunning. There are young women going to salons trying to get that color and can't. I think white silver is the most unique. Healthy hair is more youthful than what color it is. Society has placed a stigma on something that is natural and honestly gorgeous! ❤

When people say they feel free when they go gray, they talk about the free time they now have. However, I feel free emotionally. Like, I don’t care what people think. I no longer feel the stress of habit I get my roots done. Just….FREE

Yes i feel free now first i didn't i got tried of frightening the gray so i gave in now i love it mostly it is salt and pepper and wearing a pixie style short on the back ans sides i think it look sexy❤
Wonderful video !! Started transitioning to gray about three months it is definitely a process ,I have short natural hair, so far so good, I will never color again. I have had a few comments of it making me look older, however I am having selected hearing and tunnel towards the comments. I'm going for it! I love this video! The last two ladies story really touched me and had me smiling. Just turned 50 and the gray has been slowly coming in. Hardly noticeable by others, but I see it and I'm ready for it. I spoke with my husband and he says just let it come. I'm 10 years loc'd, and said I will cut it in a asymmetrical bob at some point. Some ladies say just leave it long. We'll see. Thanks so much!

I made the decision last week. My hair has been breaking and thinning since I went from a semi-permanent to permanent color. I thought I’d never give up “the Clairol”. I have cut my hair because I haven’t found someone who can cut a great short, pixie cut. Seeing the buzz cut, I feel I have an option. Thank you for posting this video.

I stopped coloring my hair. I now see how beautiful the silver hair looks. I am wearing braids because I don’t want to cut my hair so short. Hopefully this time next year I will cut my hair all the way down to the gray.

What are the shades of grey in colored women’s hair? Is silver hair the same as grey hair? I just stopped coloring my hair 4 months ago and i am curious.
So many varying shades . I recommend you google it for exact answers. The difference that takes place in the varying shades are the presence of the amount of salt (silver) and shades of pepper (Gray) that is present in the head of hair. Soooooo many different variations. Almost like snowflakes no two heads of hair alike. Some people will never have an entire head of silver it may just stay a mixture of silver and gray darker shades. My hair is darker more gray in the back and sides and then mostly silver right in the front. Hope that helps. ❤️🙏🏾
I don’t like the gray because it only on my edges and it makes look jacketed. I have locs for ten years and I don’t want to cut my hair. Any suggestions
Hmmm 🤔 maybe just Color your edges if you don’t like the gray and are not planning to cut your hair.
