Oh wow! I don’t even know what to say! I’m so grateful that my videos are able to do that. And thank you so much for sharing this. I appreciate you 🙏🏾❤️
I get a lot of messages asking when I’m gonna post a hair tutorial or if I can consider making hair content again. To answer that question I ask myself ‘what is my creative philosophy?’ ‘why am I creating?’ The honest answer is.. I’m creating because God gave me the blueprints to do so. I’m creating for me - and not creating to please ‘everybody’. My goal for this channel is to be able to create calming, still short films for the everyday person to escape the roaring busy life. If I can do so by sharing life through my point of view, I’m a happy person. It’s been a very long long long time since I feel motivated and inspired again to create. That being said. It’s been 6 weeks since I washed my hair. I thought it was a good idea to share a ‘realistic washday as a mom’. So here it is a hair tutorial but silent. Every time on washday I tell myself that ‘I’m gonna wear my hair in a protective style and after the protective style I’m gonna wash my hair’. But then life happens and before you know it 6 weeks went by - in twists, in buns, loose you name it. I’m trying to do better. Because my arms are tired.. I wish you all a wonderful week ahead. May God bless you tremendously.
This is the 'realest' hair wash I've seen and I've seen a lot! Tube fails, shed hair everywhere, the clean-up afterwards. Flinging the hair in 4 braids/twists because we tired. The detangling. Loved it all.
Thank you for this!! So true that your videos are beautiful and relatable ways to escape the hustle of this world. God bless you and thanks again for sharing
I love this style of silent video, it is a beautiful and intimate peek into your life. I felt like I was watching myself because I too have long, natural textured, gray hair. I felt relieved that I am not the only person that gets consumed by life and my hair get neglected. God gave you the blueprint so he will provide the inspiration, he always does. God bless.
I think we all have these days/weeks were we just don’t have the time nor space to give our hair the love it needs. And that’s completely okay. Thank you… he will provide amen 🙏🏾
I LOVE this rawness.🥰 Wow, I felt it! We see so much production with hair tutorials now, that when we turn them off and look in the mirror....we just see ourselves. 🥲We don't have lights and camera. We just have ourselves in the mirror. The reflection is our busy, hectic, tired spirits and that's okay. Our routines in front of our mirrors may not be as smooth, easy or perfect like youtubers, but it's still a beautiful peaceful process. It's meditative self-care
Girl, whenever you find your life's purpose in creative writing or literature or something, write a book and publish it, come back to this comment section and read what you wrote!
Everyone's hair and lifestyle is different. If I went 6 weeks without washing my hair, I would be bald with an irritated scalp. My hair likes be washed regularly and grows like crazy.
that pre-poo with some water and oil is an absolute game changer...so affordable and never disappoints. I use it to take down mini twists and it keeps my shedding to a minimum...sometimes i add amla and after detangling i sit under the drier before washing my hair.... happy you are embracing a simpler format, we are here when you are!
I was depressed & went this long without washing my hair but 4 of those weeks it was brushed back into a bun so it got so matted and tangled😒 when I finally got the strength to do it, it took me 2 hours to detangle my hair even when it was drenched in water. I was so upset with myself
When I clicked on your video and saw how beautiful your gray hair is I had to subscribe. I’ve been trying to decide if I should let my hair go gray and I must say you’re an inspiration to me. I’m natural and so tired of the color process. I’m so happy you are making videos.🙏🏽
You have the dreamiest, most beautiful head of hair ever! I really love the direction you've gone with your videos. Blessings to you and your sweet little one 😊
It's been awhile since I visited this channel. I think last I was in Ms. Lady had cut all of her hair off. It's grown sooo much since then and she's as BEAUTIFUL as before. I personally don't like my own gray because it's like I'm looking at a completely different person when I look in the mirror and I don't recognize myself.
my hair texture is 100 percent like yours. i wore relaxers for over 30 years and then big chopped in 2016 after extreme damage from a salon. I had no idea my hair texture was curly. i only used heat on it once since 2016. It is currently just past my bra strap. i cannot believe how much i see myself in this video. i have been binge watching texlax videos for 4 days trying to decide if i want to do that or not in January. my hair has become overwhelming with me raising a child. I don't enjoy my hair any more and it just seems like work. it is in plaits 90 percent of the time. My wash day is exactly like this. managing my curls is a lot of work because of the length and density of it. I am torn between getting my texture loosened a bit or just dealing with it. i will binge watch your more recent vidoes to help me decide. your grey hair is absolutely beautiful as well as your spirit! thank you for sharing
I'm sorry but I love your hair. And your texture favors mine.....but it's way shorter. Love the tutorial handling our hair texture. Thank you woman of God, needed this openess to natural hair maintenance and connection to how God wants you to create.
Your hair is gorgeous. I too am Salt & Pepper all over, but my hair is snow white in the front. We have the same hair texture. Mine is thinner now. Both times that I had Covid, I suffered hair loss.
Aye notfication gang here. Omg your hair grew so much and it's all gray now. I remember you had cut it and was embracing your gray hair and now to see the progress. Thanks for the update.❤👑
Your hair is so beautiful, Sista. I'm transitioning too, from black to my natural gray and silver, and it'svery hard in not wanting to keep touching up the roots of my hair. When I use to swim in my younger days, I washed and conditioned my hair everyday from the chlorine in the water. How often do you wash and condition your hair? The last time I washed my hair it was in November before Thanksgiving.
I think I might be new here not sure if I hit subscribe in the beginning of this video. But this is my first time watching. I like this concept of your videos! Very calming. You’ve inspired me to wash my hair. It’s only been two weeks but my scalp is on fire and I’m tired and I want to put it off for a few more weeks. But my scalp wants to fight😩 Edit: I could watch an hour of this.
Sista you know I've been watching since you first discovered a gray in your hair and baby girl I got hair envy WOw must be something in the water LoL 😂😂😂😂 shoot I'm going threw thinning and look at you growing like a beautiful garden 😂😂 work it and the calmness of your videos now is amazing..have a meet and greet and I tell you I'm on the next flight 😂 Blessings and Love..

Ik had op deze video gewacht. Heb je last van haar uitval gehad na je bevalling door je keizersnee?? Mijn haarlijn was helemaal weg.
Weinig tot geen wash and go’s. Dankjewel! Much appreciate it 🙏🏾
