Jobs are out there you just to be willing to do the work no one wants to. I was unemployed for about a year in my early 20s and instead of complaining about it I went through about a 100 applications a week every for any and every job I could find. Found a job building furniture for a police academy for their class rooms and also running Ethernet cables through the walls and ceilings of their offices and class rooms. Had no clue how to do either but I learned on the job and now have two more skills and experience to add to future resumes. Then I found a decent manual labor job in the agricultural field and it’s been where I’ve been at for years worked went from seasonal part time and worked way up to permanent full time worked straight through covid with it. Moral of the story is you gotta be willing to do odd jobs you might now have experience in or take jobs you don’t wanna do in order to get work. But every job will add more skills and experience and make it easier in the future.

Hey, If this helps anyone… living with your parents until you’re ready to move out IS OKAY. Don’t worry about the people who aren’t paying you or your bills. Especially if you have a plan, if you don’t, make one. Be kind to your parents, give them rent money to show your gratitude, help around the house and any job even a cashier is a start. Don’t feel shame for protecting and building your financial future in a way that suits you, don’t move in with a room mate and pay $1k/mth for a box if you don’t have to!
What’s worse, is people psychopaths who live with their parents for money and inheritance and claim that you should live with your parents because they’re getting old. So when I finally do get a job and get married, my parents will be OLDER than they are now. They don’t need to be taken care of. And I most certainly am not volunteering. Leaving behind an adult daughter who has no love, kids, friends or job, is called SHIT parenting. Not good parenting. Luckily, my parents don’t want me to live with them and never asked me to do so. I’d be embarrassed to have a 33 year old adult child live with me unemployed, single and no social life. I wouldn’t glorify it or parade her in front of people. I’d be ashamed of not doing enough to ensure that she’s independent. I’d see it as a personal failure and curse. Not as a blessing. I certainly wouldn’t get up everyday and go about my day, as if it’s normal to have a 33 year old adult child live with me.
It may be that you are clinically depressed and need therapy to tackle underlying problems before you can move forward with life. Your issues are clearly not just unemployment.
What’s worse, is depressed and stressed people who see stress and depression everywhere, because they’re unhappy with their income not increasing and their marriage falling apart, and want you be stuck in your parents house, and claim that you’re stressed and depressed like them. They want to force depression on you, so that you’re not social, entertaining, don’t go out, don’t get a top job or marry an eligible bachelor. The worst is jealous, unemployed and single people or people in bad marriages, who glorify your unemployment and single life because they don’t want you to be well off and they certainly don’t want you to date an eligible bachelor or marry one. They offer shit unsolicited advice. Advice that goes against your skill set, sensibilities and goals. What you’re dying for, they advice against. They don’t want you to achieve your dreams. They want to hold you back from being the best that you can be, surrounded by people who are good for YOUR sensibilities but make them insecure. They want to hold you back so they advise you against everything they don’t have. People show their true colours. One day, I’ll tell my eligible bachelor about the stupid advice people have me and he’ll be disgusted. One day, when I become super successful and I live the best life, I’ll write a book about all the nasty statements and advice people gave me, which has resulted in me being 33 years old, single and unemployed with no friends and no future. They wasted my time with their stupid shit. It’s been a shit experience. I’ve lived my worst nightmare. I’ve fallen to the lowest degree possible. It’s only upwards from here and I can’t wait.
This is me. I just live with parents lol. And I would love to work but nowhere is hiring in this shit economy. I've given up.

Now imagine someone without a job and without money.
I struggled to get an engineering degree and now I am jobless. I just don’t want to live anymore

I’m 21 and unemployed. I’ve never worked in my life. My source of income is loved ones
@@Mary-pt8jmfr bruh
Same. I’ve applied to places and never heard back man it’s depressing 😭
I am literally the same way too its so hard :(
I'm 24, literally same ..
Feels better to know I’m not alone but I’m not okay…I’ve applied to over a 100 jobs in 1 month and it’s either some mlm misleading scheme or door to door sales with a nice title. I re édit my resume to fit job descriptions and all… I can’t help but feel hopeless sometimes
Well done. Inspiring story.
This should be the top comment. You have to start somewhere, you can't expect to land a 6 figure job just outta college. It's simply unrealistic
Reading all the comments made me realize I'm not alone
Its the same in 30's & 40's
I'm jobless engineer and that is quite my daily routine!
Are you still jobless? I think there are lots of jobs out there for engineers.

This explains me so much 😢 I have the privilege to love with my bf family and other reasons for that. But still I have that blessing to do that until I find a better job that I can feel good in and not feel overwhelmed and stressed everyday
I hate that I relate to this now, while seeing all of my peers working 🥲 Im living off my parents' money and its extremely stressful and depressing for me for being a burden BUT still couldn't find a job although im a postgrad with first class.......

Don’t we all want to travel the world and make content like everyone else Jesus this is over saturated nowadays

Can actually break the loop by learning a course or a skill and start your online biz to make u busy
I am also doing this same routine on the video .but I find a lil bit of purpose by learning something new and using the skill to start my own biz and (fail)
Failure keeps your blood pumping and learning more
Idk if it’s just me but i don’t think people need to work that much anymore. We don’t require a lot of maintenance and services to the point we need to support each other by working 9-5 5 days.
Lets hope we move to 4 days work week.
I’m 18 and I’m taking a gap year to save money for uni. And I’m already in this situation. I really hate myself as a result. I need a job so badly and I just want to slave away in some job all day for 45-50 hours a week. Maybe even more. I just want to be doing something.
I’m doing self study and personal projects in the meantime so I can feel somewhat more productive, but I’d much rather work right now.
Be a traditional housewife
as an unemployee i can confirm its video is too accurate
People today give up too easily. Stop whining about being "overwhelmed"

But my question is, how are you affording all of your expenses with no income? I would love to live a life like this
Me at 19 until I slowly but surely become locked into life😎
oh! so I’m not alone 😊
My parents says I’m not trying on looking for a job but those job websites goes in circles to nowhere, it’s frustrating. So time consuming I easily move on. I don’t got the drive to apply to more than 1-3 jobs in a few days. Unemployed and inattentive adhd perceives as lazy or not doing the obvious to take care of my self and get a job….. 😐😤😭🥺
How you are affording rent
Savings I guess

A little bit of job searching?
Find something online to flip
Yeh not long turned 25 and I’m unemployed currently. Any job I do get never lasts or is 0 hour contracts they just get rid of me like it’s nothing.
It’s a horrible feeling getting older and doing absolutely nothing with your life.
All your old friends are doing stuff and successful? Know that feeling.
Was a passenger in a car accident when I was 18 really put me off driving for years.finallly started to learn to drive and had a good jobs life was coming together and then covid hit. Lost my job driving tests cancelled and then my theory expired again within lockdown.
I rlly feel I was robbed of 2/3 years of my life during covid 19.
I guess some people would say try harder and these are excuses but they are genuine reasons I have struggled.
Now I’m stuck trying to figure it all out from square one again:/

I hate living like this

22. With my grandfather. What do people expect you to do? Even if I get an interview my anxiety and speech impediment ruin it.
Wow 😢😢😢 at least I got some productive things out the way.. me and happiness

Stay strong, sweetie. Ignore people who have nothing positive or encouraging to say.
