This one's a quick little trip we took out to Willamette NF with some of our best friends. After they took off to home, Kim and I explored some forest roads throughout this area of the forest, found some nice dispersed camping spots, and enjoyed the big groves of trees we stumbled upon.
Glad to see you three! We'll call off the search.

Very cool that you did not edit out the "grumpy ending." We all have trips like that and its just the reality of what we do. Made me smile to see that others have similar experiences!
I really contemplated even publishing this video, but when I watched over the ending again I was hoping it might be that for some people. It’s not always epic trips and butterflies. Still beats sittin at home!

You guys are such relaxed and normal people compared to my fellow metropolitan Southern California whackos ( I'd have to admit to being one, too). People around here are so anxiety-ridden and frustrated they shoot each other on the freeway, or in public parks, and the local media just report it as if they're talking about a new fast food joint opening up somewhere nearby. Can't wait to get the 'F' outahere and get me some Oregonian Chill.
Nice seeing the Willamette NF, never camped there yet. I pretty much take my rain gear by default, but I car camp/backpack. Fun little summer camp trip, I enjoyed going along! And LOL @ the wife's secret hot sauce stash
I almost always have a rain jacket stashed somewhere too…I was caught off guard by this one 😅 we drove down I 5 right before a small tornado passed over on this trip…
And I am now dedicated to discovering all of the hot sauces
