Kim and I needed at least one more outing before getting married, so we took off to central Oregon in Deschutes National forest in search of a relaxed dispersed camping site. We found a wonderful creek side spot, had a big fire, and even had some unexpected snow fall on us while camping. Dylan & Tessa brought their Tundra with a rooftop tent along with their 4runner and we had some fun on the chill dirt roads in this area of the forest.

Camping around the Deschutes National Forest was the thing that got Christine and I to COMPLETELY re-think how we pack to stay warm (and cool) on a trip. The weather over there just seems to vary so much (and so quickly).
