They both continued to work in movies and the theater, they both had great range, they both took the craft seriously and stretched themselves. No one else really stands out at the moment though there are good movie actors out there. Christian Bale, Joaquin Phoenix, Gary Oldman, Denzel. Probably a couple I can’t think of. Who do you think?
