      I'm doin' really good so far actually. I'm an extraterrestrial Gray Alien Hybrid, and i'm soo good at this that when I tell someone that I'm an Alien, they won't believe! Isn't that COOL? I've been studying humans also. And talkin' more human-like. If you can see here, I'm usin' the apostrophes at the end of a suitable word. E.G. Words that end with an "ing" instead of that, it's " in' ".
      And I play video games as well as having human resources.

    I've been trying to Mew for a year and I find it difficult not to forget. But this month I've started the Gokhale Method to improve my general posture, with and anteverted hip and ribs in. For some reason, Mewing became more natural inmediately. I think Michael Mew and Esther Gokhale should have a phone call! For me those two methods are a perfect match. :-)

      I was wondering if someone would mention appetite in association with an element of Mewing. It has crossed my mind many times. My argument against is that I see many obese people with good facial form (its in the science as well Carl Magnuson if I remember), although many eating and thus using the masticatory system more. #mikemew

    • @Peteru69
      @Peteru69 5 років тому +7

      @@Orthotropics Orthotropics may be the first step to improving public health. Something as simple as allowing your saliva to properly mix, and chewing your food properly, prepares your body for digestion. Your mouth is a vital part of digestion as enzymes in your spit and chewing is the first step.
      I also think society need to wake up to the possibility that our hunter gatherer ancestry had a large role to play in the way we should eat, because it's the way we evolved to eat. Plants were *not* very likely to be the main source of nourishment in early man, but rather an opportunity that would arise on occasion (together with novelty foods like honey or fruit, as those were not a viable long term source of food all year round).
      It's a controversial topic but I believe a much lower intake of carbohydrates (and especially processed food) is the way to health and weight control. And it provides a significant decrease in "spontaneous appetite". Indigenous people eat a lot less starch and carbohydrate dense foods than the typical western diet. And their facial structure is often better for it. Not just because of tougher food, but also less histamines that causes blocked nasal airways and is likely to cause an early onset of allergies due to an unnatural diet. You know how mouth breathing severely effects facial structure, and a blocked nose is no good for the health of a child. The controversial thing to say is eat more fat and meat and less carbohydrate filled foods, but it is proving to be a permanent cure to people with histamine intolerance.
      Removing more processed foods from your diet will undoubtedly be one of the biggest changes in overall health. If you have a histamine response to dairy, that would also be something to get less of.

      @@Orthotropics My grandfather used to emphasize good chewing. When you chew well, you spend more time with your food and your body has enough time to signal that you're full, thus you eat less. Shortly, you feel full when you chew your food really well. So, I would say, appetite does have an association with an element of mewing. Thank you for your work Dr. Mew, your efforts are greatly appreciated.

I'm chewing, and then I try to stop chewing so I can follow the steps Mike shares in the video, which is stop, think, bite together, push tongue to the roof of the mouth, and not using any of the face musculature, swallow, perhaps doing a small chin tuck. I cannot seem to even stop and think before swallowing. it's like my body HAS to swallow before I even stop in order to put the tongue into a new position. it feel like I cannot control it! not going to stop trying, but just wanted to share my experience.

      maybe it's good not to breath constantly. less pollution getting into your system long term and it helps train your cardiovascular system to not spend so much engery on uncessary breathing. so he just instead breaths big for the parts he needs to breath instead of breathing alot like some people

      But she was not before, and she would have grown up a lot worse with no serious other option until surgery at 18, meaning that she would have developed though her most formative years with a significantly less than optimal facial form. In short she would have looked ugly and typically aggressive. Compare that to her live outlook now. THIS IS WHY I AM PUTTING ALL THIS INFORMATION UP. People need to hear this, parents need a choice, lives need to be improved and improved without surgical procedures. This is something that i am very passionate about. Please share all my videos and tell everyone that you can. #mikemew

    Mr mew, is there a problem if my tongue appears scalloped event though I'm not biting it? My whole tongue is on the roof of my mouth with no discomfort and teeth are touching so I know I'm not biting my tongue. I've just assumed that the scalloped look comes from my tongue touching the sides of my teeth due to a little too narrow of a palate.( last time I saw an dentist the measurement was 39mm)
