I've been enjoying all your vids. You helped me unlock my hips, get better mobility in general and I find your style very relaxing, enjoyable and humble. Keep doing these vids please! 👍😊
MORE TMJ, pls! My right side has been SOOOO tight for years, it messes up my breathing, therefore messing w/ my posture. I'm fit, active, productive and can't seem to solve the problem of my back right jaw.
Felt immediate release of tension in a jaw that's been "stuck" and painful from constant clenching. Thank you!
This is so helpful and the most simple I've found. Thank you soooo very much!!!!
That 3rd exercise pops my jaw out of the socket
not even exaggerating, you've become my deity, I worship at the shrine of your videos every day to try and survive this onslaught of muscle compression and atrophy that's shrinking around my skeleton like a torture bag
Thanks I’m a dental hygienist and I do think would help a lot of our patients . I will share this video with them 😊🦷

🔥💪🙏
Where is your clinic located as I am looking for some help with hip flexor pain??
My first thought when this video started was 'I don't hold my head forward' but then I tried the back-to-the-wall exercise. It seems I do. I held it for a minute and it felt great. I felt aligned and my jaw softened quite a bit. And I'm a lifelong jaw-clencher. Will integrate these moves into my routine.
Being a lifelong clencher how did your teeth survive?
People dont realise that posture, tongue posture and breathing are the most important things in life.
Literally, nowadys everyon is so stressed and anxious. This is due to posture in many many occasions. Closed chest (less confidence), pushing diaphragm (not expanding) leading to hyperventilation (no oxgen in brain) that causes headaches and dizineess. FWD neck posture that make your jaw tight and then temples get reeally tight contirbuting to tension headaches and disorientation due to tension. Facial structure and crooked teeth start appearing.
It took me 7 years, reading, watching videos etc to see everything being related. Most of today's anxiety and depression can be avoided by paying attention to the above.
Finally exercises for TMJ instead of massages! Thank you!
Can’t wait to try this before bed tonight…teeth clencher😬
At one stage of working on your programmes for my posture I suddenly had problems with my teeth no longer aligning - my lower teeth were pressing into my upper teeth instead of sitting behind and it was getting very uncomfortable. My dentist gave me a great exercise to do with the tongue and jaw and everything dropped back into place. You arch your tongue back to touch the soft palate - that stage alone took a bit of practice! - and then lower your bottom jaw whilst keeping your tongue in place. It’s a great stretch. I’m looking forward to incorporating your new jaw element into my hunchback routine. Thanks for all your great work 😊
Your dentists sounds smart! I’m doing your exercise now. Thank you.
This was amazing! Thank you so much. My dentist recommended a night guard for $400🤯
Your video made me realize that my posture is what is causing my jaw pain. I already feel relief!
Respect this dude for not being afraid to make the double chin online ❤️
I think I may have achieved triple chin!
I've had tmj issues for about a decade. This all seems like sound logic and I wish I had learned this ten years ago.
It never occurred to me that I could improve my teeth grinding with stretches and exercise. This is brilliant. What other everyday annoying things can we fix?
Awesome advice.. very rare to find quality advice like this
I can really feel these muscles working. Thanks!
Thanks Matt, your video's always seem to come at the right time for me.
Thank you very much! My whole face relaxed!
Great info. Thanks!!
You’ve saved my life Matt! Thanks !!!

Thank you so much these exercise help me alot👍
Thank you for your accessible videos - practical and totally do-able. I appreciate you 😊
Thank you, it has been a lifetime trouble for me, will try the exercises from now on.
That looks great! I have been a tooth grinder forever. In fact my dentist and hygienist are often pressuring me to try to stop grinding and clenching, but your video is the only time I have heard of an exercise program to try to stop grinding. Just doing a few of the exercises with you and my jaw muscles are tingling in a good way.
Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
Man... these exercises combined with your neck tension exercises have been a lifesaver... In just a couple days I've felt such relief... Thank you!!!!!

These were great and super helpful, thanks so much! Did them all before bed and felt so much relief especially in the first exercise. New to your channel, looking forward to diving deep!
Just doing this once gave some relief today! I'll try the regimen before bed time tonight! Hopeful after years of jaw clenching!
I so appreciate your time and suggestions. I'll give them a go. May you continue in good health.
👍👍❤ All of your information is So Helpful and therapeutic! Thank you!!!
Your video's are Excellent!!!
Excellent video. Thank you sir. I could really feel different muscles activating and working that normally don't get any love.
Thank you for sharing this video it helped me so much ❤😊
Hi Matt. After watching a few of your videos, I have to say that I’m very impressed with your knowledge… I so appreciate your down-to-earth instruction for helping us with our posture and muscle function. I also love the quick pops of humor sprinkled in to help us smile while we’re learning to keep us engaged . 🤗
Hi , and thank you , have been a jaw clenched all my life and wear a mouth guard at night , I just did this exercise ,and it has really loosened the tightness in my jaw … this will be my regular routine now again many thanks
Going through these just while watching the video, my jaw already feels better. I don't grind my teeth, but I do clench--I carry a lot of tension in my jaw. Looking forward to these helping.
I absolutely adore your energy, wit and personality! You’re content is always so helpful and so much appreciated! Much blessings to you always and a GREAT big THANKS for sharing all your knowledge 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏼💜
You are so welcome
Definitely trying these!
Omg!! You’re the first UA-camr I’ve ever seen teach resistance stretching!!! I have a grinding problem and now need a crown replacement because of it. I never thought about my posture- ironically because this is what I preach!! 😬 I already feel the difference!! 🤩👏🏼
Wow - one set of following you, and jaw relief & relaxation… look forward to doing them before bed & reducing teeth grinding… thank you 🙏🏽
Fantastic tips - which I'd known these years and years ago before I had the darn botox!! No longer clenching so badly, thankfully, and I will add these great exercises to my daily routine.
You bring so much fun to movement, toning and strengthening. Thank you
Wow, thank you!
Wow that really worked well on me! Super grateful for these awesome tips ❤😅😊 thank you so much!!
These are awesome exercises to learn. I started doing the wall angel one a few months ago and it has changed my posture and my quality of life. I had mild kyphosis and the wall angels fixed it immediately.
An oral surgeon just told me that an otc mouth guard actually makes grinding and clenching worse, and I can't afford the one from the dentist, so I've been trying to make a more conscious effort to not clench throughout the day. But I still struggle with it, and I guess it's cause I've trained the muscles in my jaw and neck to do the opposite of what I want. Thanks for this man.
Life changing 🙏🏽
Tell us more!
This is very helpful. Felt the difference immediately. Thanks so much for this information.
You're so welcome!
Thank you for sharing this video. I need this one since my dentist gave me night guard due of bruxism.
Thanks! I love all your videos and they always come out when I need them. I like how you keep them simple language and make them fun. Please keep posting.
Thank you! Glad you like them!
A dentist once said I needed surgery and a splint just to lessen my grinding.
I grind so much that I have had to use dental night guards. Hopefully these exercises help lessen my grinding. Thanks for clear and informative video.
Thank you😍.. I always get headaches stemming from my neck so this I will try. It felt stronger my neck or like I opened a muscle I obviously wasn't aware of or using. 😁
You just helped me pinpoint the root of some newer sensations between my shoulder blades and possibly my chronic vertigo too- that forward head posture affects a lot! Super excited to do these daily and see what changes
I went through PT a year ago due to serious vertigo and pain, constant headaches too. The exercise they gave stretch those same neck muscles, helping tons! But this guy goes into even more, he helps with jaw clenching and muscle building. It's funny you brought up vertigo too, and I'm betting this will help.
So did it help? Did it change your posture?
Great one brother Matt!
Thank you kindly!
Thank you. I use u every night. I swear I gain an inch every time I come off the wall. And the jaw exercises help prevent the grinding. I also had to do a hyoglossus massage cause I was contracting and quivering there all the way to the base of my tongue. Thank you. I’ve been waking up with no clenched teeth and my teeth are finally getting a rest!
❤ you are so funny. Will do these every night❤
Wow! A few minutes of stretching with your guidance gave me such relief! Thank you 🙏 😊
Glad it helped!
I have watched several podcasts for bruxism and yours is the best! Thanks for sharing it.
MORE TMJ, pls! My right side has been SOOOO tight for years, it messes up my breathing, therefore messing w/ my posture. I'm fit, active, productive and can't seem to solve the problem of my back right jaw.
Finally some useful info...
“Not a lot of sexy action” 😆 thanks o clench my teeth really bad during the day and worse during sleep. I’m going to do these.
Really relax my jaw ❤
Great exercises.
Glad you like them!
Thanks!
Big thanks to you, Barbara!
just tried these exercises because my dentist pointed out that i'm grinding my teeth due to strong developed cheek muscles and jaw popping, etc. it relaxed my jaw and side muscles right away, ohmygoodness. i will keep working on this, thanks so much for sharing these brilliant tips! it's a life saver because i was trying to figure a way to relax them without botox (as i keep clenching/grinding during the day too without noticing and really struggle with stopping).
Great video. Thank you!
Do I continue with #3 if my jaw continuously pops as I do so?
So glad I found this. I will try and hope it helps w my #tinnitus
Thank you!! It would great if dentists told us this! 😮
very interesting now I have to begin doing it. I kind of thought my posture had something to do with it as usual. Kyphosis no fun
Thank you for these exercises. I'm addressing grinding and don't want a n/guard. Hopefully I can fix it through exercise and prayer.
Any update?
Truly one of the best explanations I’ve seen thank you! Do you recommend training your tongue to rest at the roof of your mouth?
Also where are you located?
I really like these ideas, and the little video clips that are sprinkled throughout......they make me laugh (the best medicine!)
Excellent, do you all make these every night before sleep? I tried and they relaxed my jaw a lot.
I’ve become a major clencher. I look forward to tying these exercises.
Thank you Matt. Love your videos. Can you do a video for Carpel Tunnel? Sorry you may have already done this? Only recently subscribed to your channel. Also one on neck tension leading to back of lower shoulder blade pain and arm discomfort. Thanks.
Great suggestion! Will get that in queue.
thanks
Thank you for these. I'm definitely going to try these. I use a nigh guard, but still clech it, & sometimes grind, so its mainly just protecting my teeth. Except on that last one. , I can't round my low bk, I jave a degenerating disc at L2&3, & that would put me towards a spasm. I have to keep my bk flat or arched.
Thank you for this video. Do you think this will help people who chronically push their top front teeth with their tongue while sleeping?
When I do the fists-under-jaw head tilt I get a cramping work sensation (ache but not really pain) in my neck maybe 1.5 inches below my occipetal ridge.
(Note, when I do something like "bleed brakes" in which I have to hold my head up, supine, I get a strain in my neck. It makes me short-tempered and not-happy. I noticed the same thing in a Nautilus machine, doing neck work. The emotional irritation vanishes immediately when I stop working those muscles.)
WOW after suffering from grinding my teeth, for many years, your help and concern is GOLD !!! A Big THANK YOU !! Your explanations and demonstrations are the best I have ever found. I have used your other videos to help me and my friends with pain issues, and guess what, they all work. Thank you for the time and effort you put into these videos, they are soooo much appreciated :)))))
Thanks for taking the time to leave this comment so others know that this stuff can actually work! 💪
have you solved teeth grinding at night with these? If so, how long did it take?
i’ll never stop grinding 😤😤💪🏻💪🏻
Omg I need this. Hopefully after time I will stop grinding. It used to be just at night but now it’s all the time. Please do another video
Very nice! I'll be trying this to help with my night time jaw clenching and grinding. I was prescribed a gum shield previously, which I promptly chewed through 😬👍🏻
Haha! Same here!
Let us know how it goes!
I'm
Hoping these help me because I can't seem to get used to sleeping with those guards. Thx
how did it go ? @@airheadcreations3371
Just Excellent 👌. I have seen on 11.11.2023. I wish I had known these before losing almost all my teeth. They are half in height and fronts are half in back too after COVID. Greetings from Istanbul. God Bless You . I will shame all my dentist of 50 years. God Luck
Bedankt
Und begeistert! Vielen Dank!
I have really bad TMJ and it is causing me to have severe hearing problems. So I am gonna try this and see if it helps. I hope it does cuz I am 34 and have the hearing of an elderly person all cuz of TMJ
Please l really love your videos and audio 👍 I struggle with my voice overs and I thought using a microphone like yours will help a little bit! Could you drop a link where to purchase the microphone you used? Thank you for all that you do😍👍❤️
If you're doing voiceovers you should just get a USB microphone that plugs into your computer. Audio quality will be better than the wireless setup I use. It will also probably be cheaper than getting a wireless mic setup (probably around $60-$120 vs. $200-$250).
Thank you. Amazing results with my jaw relaxation by head posture adjust exercise.
I have no discomfort but I sure notice I’m clenching my jaw.
Love the videos, they have helped me a lot! The only small criticism I have is that it would be good if you had a Note right at the beginning of the video saying to only do a few of the reps and go easy with the exercises before progressing to the normal amount. I know you mention it later in the video but the earlier the better with injury prevention! Otherwise flawless stuff, thank you so much!
I’ve been clenching and grinding for YEARS. I really haven’t been able to find anything to help so I’m hopeful to try these out. I was trying the up and down jaw movement and I really feel pressure in my lower back teeth. Is that normal/expected when first trying this out? I know my left side is my worst side and that’s also where I get all the clicking. Thanks for all your videos!
I am the same. Did the exercises help you?
I'm 76 and have noticed over the last few years that my lower jaw sometimes trembles. Now, when I do this exercise where I have to push down on my fists with my lower jaw, my jaw shakes and trembles very badly. Please show some exercises for this. Thank you.
Did anyone get rid of Bruxism completely through these exercises? And if yes, how long does it take?
I am suddenly facing tongue thrust issues after wearing masks during covid period. It may be change in resting position of tongue also. It has started affecting my speech little bit.
Please suggest some exercises that can help in this issue. Thank you for your helpful videos.
Matt, I have TMJ and forward head posture. On X-ray my neck bones show some fusing. When I try doing these exercises it is really difficult and painful. I am 78 yo. If I can persist with trying to do them, will it improve or is my spine too deteriorated?
I noticed that doing the exercise opening and closing the mouth with resistance the first time while watching the video, the back of my neck felt a bit achy, which made me want to rotate my head/neck in a circle to relieve that sensation.
When I do the up and down movement do I have to let a space between my teeth or I can close my mouth completely?
Right now I am grinding my teeth. Let's see how this vid help me.
Did it help?
Hi Doc, when I do your jaw exercises, my upper neck, c1, 2, area gets the strain. Are they just weak? I am ensuring my head is held back, no hunch forward. I do not yet feel the strain in the jaw, just the neck. Probably cuz neck is so weak ? TY Brenda
good for double chin too :)??
Should my teeth be together or slightly apart when doing the exercises when the mouth is closed? I find that keeping them together feels a bit uncomfortable so I keep them apart, but I'm not sure if it's going to impact the effectiveness of these exercises?
Gonna try and do these before bed regularly, as I'm getting really frustrated at waking up with neck and teeth pain. Massages help sometimes, but not always.
