How I store big fabric bolts |

Sometimes I just don't have room for something in my sewing room! These big bolts of upholstery fabric have been relegated to the attic, which is dirty but mostly environmentally stable. While at the store, I hit on the perfect solution to protect them from dust - a Christmas tree storage bag! Inexpensive but still pretty durable, and a zipper allows for easy access.
The trick is to make sure you get one long enough to hold your longest fabric bolt. Some bags say they can fit a 9' tree, but they depend on the tree breaking into shorter sections. And of course, they're only in stores during the end of the year!
