Thanks, I appreciate the kind words. I try to make videos and discuss so that anyone can understand what I'm talking about. Don't always succeed but most of the time I do. Best Blessings. Keith Noneya
Instead of taking all that stuff off to get to that back clip. Just use a 14mm 6 prog socket and reach in through the hole and press the socket on the clip and pull.. it works.
That is a totally awesome tip. I had someone mention that and saw it in another video, it worked great! One I'm sure I'll do the next time I need to take a stock Headlight assembly out. Thanks for posting it for myself and others to use. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
A trick I figured out for the black clips that you have to squeeze to get out. If you take a box wrench that barely fits over the back and push it all of the way towards the metal. Twist it and you'll feel a little tension. As soon as the tension stops. The tabs are squeezed and you can pop it out. Much easier than channel locks. I forget what size I used on the truck because I did the same to my mustang. A socket would probably work as well. Unfortunately the lights I got require cutting. I'm watching as many videos for advice. Hope this helps you in the future
Fabulous video, very thorough. Thanks for sharing. I have a 2003 F-250 diesel and just installed Sea-Light LEDs in the stock headlight housings, but someday I want to do what you did with new housings...
Thanks bud. If I was going to do it again I think I would actually cut just a small portion so I could get the Headlight bulb in and out without having to remove the clips. Not that I change them a lot but just to make it easier. Thanks for watching and the taking the time to thank me, I appreciate it. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

@@2alawabidingcitzen If you have one of those after market big round filters sometimes they're put in the tube, and sometimes people just let them hang loose in the engine bay. If it's hanging loose in the engine bay, that's not good. Then sensor it to take the intake temperature so the PCM knows how much fuel to inject and at what time based on temperature. So it should get inserted into a hole in the tube right after the filter going towards the engine. One of the problems is some people don't install a Cool Air Box and just use the HOT air in the engine bay, so that's one of the reasons some people just let it sit in the engine bay because they figure it won't make a difference in temperature. They are right it won't make a difference in temperature but it will in PCM Mixture over what the real outside the engine bay temperature is. When people do they they also loose HP, Torque and MPG. Hope that info helps you locate it. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
If you check description I give a link to where they're sold and some more information on them. If there is a failing on them I would say the alignment is a little tricky but they work way better than the Halogens it had in it. Thanks for watching. Best Wishes & Blessings Keith Noneya
I love these so far. The only issues I had was the alignment of them. It was a lot harder to align than the standard headlight assemblies, but very doable. I'm making a video on how to upgrade these to LED's without modifying the Radiator Frame as well. I should have that video up next week so stay tuned. Thanks for watching. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
If you can do this one handed I can with both hands..LOL Assume these fit 2000 F350 as well? My stock housings are so fogged over they hardly let any light out. I'll probably go with new bulbs given the pain to change going forward. Thanks
Yep they'll fit just fine. Change the bulb isn't to hard other than you have to pull the batteries. I went with the AUXITO LED's Here's a video on those in these Headlight assemblies; ua-cam.com/video/svE8Be-Su58/v-deo.html The only two things I don't like about these headlight assemblies is after alignment there's a 1/8" gap between them and the fender and to get the best out of the High Beams you have to aim the low beams lower than I would like. However they are still WAY better than stock and Halogen Bulbs. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
Not at all, and they seem to be holding their clear as well. The only thing I found I didn't like about them was in order to align them I had to have a 1/4" gap on the outside near the fender. Other than that I love em. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
@@josephoverstreet5584 HI Joseph it's been a year and they're still doing great no fogging at all. To get the best out of them make sure and align them after you install them. The only thing I didn't like about them is to change the Light bulb on these you have to pull the clips on top to access the bulb. But how often does someone change a bulb, almost never. The other option is to cut a hole right behind the ring for the bulb in the Radiator Support Frame, which I chose not to do. I did make a video on how to align them as well. The best advantage this light assembly has over the others is you don't have to cut up your truck to use them, it's a plug and play. I hope that answers your questions. Best Wishes & Blessings. @@josephoverstreet5584 Yeah my OCD didn't like it either. I was thinking of either trimming it some how or adding some rubber trim in there. I do love the lights though and for the price and the no cut I couldn't pass them up.

ALL and i mean ALL of the cheap amazon or ebay aftermarkets are junk. Some are immediate junk but all will be regrettable within 2 years. Go with AlphaRex lights. Well worth the money (and the header panel mod if you have a pre-05).
So far so good. I'll check out the others for sure, but I'm not much into cutting up my header panel. That's why I chose these one. Anyways, Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
On these units, it's internally connected to the Parking light harness, as soon as you plug in the Parking light wiring, they come on when you turn on the Parking lights. Hope that answers your question. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

I believe I want to install new light bulbs when I do this to my excursion. Can anyone recommend a particular brand and/or wattage of bulb? Thanks for the video.
You're welcome KC I thought others might like to see a No Cut or Mod could be done with the right Headlight Assembly. I should be doing a video on upgrading the bulbs to AUXITO LED's in the next two weeks. I also have a Rear Hub Seal/Bearing & Brake Rotor/Pad video I'm editing to post as well. Thanks for the thanks and watching. Best Wishes & Blessings.
Most likely a bad connector. Try slightly twisting the blade or bend them more outward that should solve this bad connection. The other problem could be a internally intermittent wire, if that's the case you'll need to replace the connector on the truck. Hope that helps get you back up and working good. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
Upgrade? It's still a single bulb setup. Ford is the apple of the car world. Way to many followers for old tech that everyone else moved on from. Single bulbs are terrible for high/lowbeam setup.
Yep that's why we use added driving lights like motorcyclists do. I love the old tech like this truck, my 69 GTO and my old 74 Trans Am etc. Also the old tech when it breaks down I can fix 99% of what goes out on it in my driveway at a quarter the cost. Try and get a 6.7 fixed these days. You're looking at 2-10K if it's broke. I love the new trucks bells and whistles, but I also love the single bulbs and the added lights for looks. Anyways thanks for the comment and I hope you find the headlights on the truck you want. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
