Hey man, thanks for the help! Your video was the best example for my led U bar 05 and up headlights that I installed on my 01 f250. I’ll recommend your video to anyone that asks about my setup!
@@donttakebiscuitsfromelmo1931 no, that also needs to be cut to fit the older trucks. You can either cut a $500 header panel or cut your junky old header panel. Gee, I wonder which one is the better choice?
@@thatrealba Just did the install with the newer headlights, after cutting the old header panel they fit just fine, like you said im glad i didnt buy a new one. now i have the running lights and headlights installed with the adapter for the h13 bulbs, but im having trouble finding the side marker sockets, is that something i should just go to an auto parts store for?

Thanks man I really appreciate that ! Glad it helped
where you get headlights feom with harness???
Some company from Amazon if I remember correctly.
Just ordered mine today do they get secured fine by the stock clips?
Can you adjust the new light ?
Yes there is an adjustment on 6.0 headlights.
Cutting seems very excessive. May not want to cut this much. Many other videos show a lot less cutting.
Thank you 🙏
Where did you get the black grill? I have 2002 F250 7.3L
Painted
Glad I found this video. I will be doing this on my 01 f250 soon
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I made the video cause I figured there was more people like me that liked the 6.0 headlight look.
@@HunterStephensKY
Yeah I love the 6.0 headlights on the 7.3
Have you had any issues with your engine dying whenever you turn your headlights on???
Nope
Did you have any issues with the signal bulb? Some got special adapters for them.
riceburna no I didn’t the headlights came with adapters I used them in the video
I was hoping you would show how to connect the h 13 bulb to the 2004 model connection instead of using the adapter That's where I'm at
Do I put the head lights in and trace around them to get the line or sometbing?
You just gotta eye ball it and take your time.
you can find a picture online of where to cut, as long as the four mounting spots arent cut and enough material is there to be sturdy.
I like your style
98 12 valve thanks man I appreciate it
Like you style to man 👍
@4:34 He knew he fucked up lol

Thanks for the video. I'm doing the upgrade too on my 2001 F250.
The right way is just buy a 2005-2007 header panel
I wish the previous owner of my 04 6.0 knew to just do that.....
@@oscarfoxman785 does the header panel from 05-07 swap directly to 99-04?

@@donttakebiscuitsfromelmo1931 pretty sure I bought mine from OReilly. But yeah, any local parts store should have 'em.
OK do NOT do what this guy did lmaoooo
That’s literally what everyone does
Did you notice any aiming issues left to right? Mine are off with now way to adjust. Wondering if it's just cheap housings
Not to left or right I did tighten the adjustment bolt on top to bring the light beam up
This is a Real Hackjob!
Nicholas Sackman thanks for watching 👍
