LED headlights are a simple and cost effective way to improve your night time visibility. The LED headlights I tested in the video are much more clear and bright, compared to the OEM halogen style bulbs. Great video. How about a follow-up.....Are the new lights brighter from from your point of view or just whiter ? Do you think they help you see better ? Are they holding up well still? FYI the link to them isn't working.
Thanks! After doing a 1400 mile road trip after installing them, I do feel like they are brighter and definitely more clear white light. It was noticeable when out on the highways at night where high beams are most helpful. Holding up fine so far and thanks for the feedback on the link, I'll get that fixed.
what size drill bit did you use for the holes to allow the fan ?
you need to re adjust your lights now that you have more light. then you would be amazed!

Why when i switched the wires my lights wont flash the high beams?
So have any oncoming cars flashed you when you had the low beams on?
Only when they were out of alignment. I did have to lower the beam a little bit as I did get flashed a few times at night after the first alignment.
Did you clean your lenses already ?
Yes I did. I a couple videos that show how to do that.
I put some LED bulbs in my 2002 F250 7.3 PowerStroke. After installing them, the truck wouldn't start. I was doing some research online and someone said that LED bulbs can do that. I put the halogens back in and it started right up.
Did you have any problems with this in your truck? I have LED foglights and love them, but couldn't do the headlights.
Wow, that is really weird. No I didn't have any problem like that. I had to swap the wires around to get high beams to work right, but that was it. Did you test to see if the truck would start with no headlight bulbs plugged in at all, or just 1 LED and 1 halogen? Maybe try wire swapping on the LED's like I did in the video?
@@TheBTRGarage No, that was years ago in the early days of LED headlight conversions. I just gave up on it. My son has a co-worker that used to work in an auto parts store who said it was common and there was a module you had to get to correct it.
After watching your video, I want to try again!

I will double check, sometimes I post recommended alternatives if the exact Boslla light is not available. You can always order direct from their web store.
@@TheBTRGarage Thanks....I actually went ahead with the linked SeaLight product because they are 100w. The Boslla's were 65W. Thanks for your response. I just ordered those Yitamoto towing mirrors for as well. I also have a 02 Super Duty. Thanks again.

Performed the same upgrade to my 02 F250. After the upgrade, my fog lights do not work as they did. When the headlights are on and I turn on my fog lights, the high beams come on and fog lights do no come on. Have you experienced the same?
Hmm that's odd. I do not think I tested out that scenario, let me try and get back to you.
