This is a great video and I’m glad you took the steps to explain everything out and get good camera angles so we could see everything.
Great video man! I love how it's so step by step and you show all the little details. I have the same exact truck and it would be cool to see more videos like this on the things you guys do to yours!
Thanks for the feedback. You will be seeing all our tips and tricks over 2020, we live eat breathe these 99-07 rigs!
@@816Diesel that’s awesome, I think your videos will be very useful
I have found that a 14mm six point socket placed over the end of the tab down low, will release itself if you rotate the socket slightly. The tabs push in and its a lot easier than messing with the pry bar...
This is the best tutorial I’ve found on this!! Wish this video existed before I installed these headlights
Finely a decent video on this retro fit. After watching your’s I think that I’m ready to attempt my upgrade. .
Do it, looks so much better, you pull it off?
Another way to do it is to buy a new header panel that is for a 05-07 truck and swap out the header panel. If you do this it's already set up for those headlights.
How easy is it to do this does it hook up like these thinking this would be easier cause my liner is already cracked on one side wish I could find a video doing this
@@420slaker is not to hard to do. There are a few videos that show you how to do it. You should be able to do a search under "changing a Ford truck header panel".
Best tutorial on this I’ve seen.
Not sure where I saw it but you can put a 14mm socket on that hidden connector to hold the wings in while you wiggle headlight out
I'm gonna try that today. Nice tip.
Looks great! It’s always worth taking the time to get it right the first time. Nice walkthrough and explanation - great vid 🤙🏼
Great video! I would be very helpful if you would include a link to the Harley Davidson lights you installed. I drive a 99' Super Duty and would love to use these headlights. Thanks again.
Damn good instructional video...Thanks for taking the time to show us how to do this!
No problem man, glad you liked it!
Great video and explanations. Took the afternoon to do this today on my 03 F-250 6.0 and it came out great. Would have taken a lot longer if not for this video.
Thanks, glad it was helpful!
Any other how to's you would like too see for these trucks?
Just picked up a 04 excursion. Will be doing this cause the stock headlights are terrible looking! Great how to video by the way.
Great Video. Followed your directions and turned out great
Awesome man. Glad it helped!
Best video on this
Nice video, I really need to do this upgrade to my 03!
You have a unique way of saying: "RēhTRowFït"
Nice video man. Would you be able to take the truck out on a dark country road and show us the difference between the two. Stock vs This upgrade. Thanks!
Great video, just did mine last night.
Thank you for the video!
Glad it helped!
@@816Diesel it help a lot brother made the install super easy. quick question any idea why amber blinker light works when I turn the Turing signal but not when parked?
@@soldierscraft9213 not sure about that one, I'd think a bad old socket or wiring. Pretty simple system to mess with a figure out
Great video!
I’m doing a grill and headlight swap so my plastics just come off and put the 2005-2007 ones on.
Where can you find the parking light conversation to the straight bulb socket. The one is at an angle and won’t fit unless but I can’t figure out where to get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Keep the videos coming.

I tried that part number and it different size and part number 😬
Is there a link to all the adapters?
Hey man great vid, what size of those pushpin pieces did you use? I don't wanna mess with finding u nuts and bolts to fit
Honestly they were just some random trim clips we had sitting around from over the years. Lotta parts and hardware stores carry them
What adapter did you use for the turn signals? Doing this project this weekend on my excursion.

Instead of pushing on those tabs the black one on the back of the headlight, with a torx bit on the top of the headlight housing run it all the way down, headlight pops right off.
Where did u get the turn signal connector I just found the lights and harness now just need the turn signal connector
They look great. What marker connector did u use?

Thank you!!!!
Hello my truck is a 2002 I need that part number for the corner light I'm having trouble finding it. Great video I'm for sure using this video
Found them on Amazon
Are the 2004 lights a direct replacement for the 2000 and are they any better
Does this still accept the same headlight bulbs? Or do you need to purchase a different style?
It's a slightly different one.
Do you happen to have a link for this headlight set? I have a 2003, and this is the exact look I'm going for.

@@816Diesel Thank you!
@@OkieVet918 no prob man! They sell out fast so don't snooze on em!
what’s the part number for the straight sockets

With this set up are you able to adjust the headlights, like the old ones or that's it no adjustment
Yes oem adjusters still work
What do you guys charge to do this service
Where do you get the fender flares? What kind?
What is the side marker straight adapter called
So are you not able to adjust the light beam with these?
Yes
Takes seconds. Very easy adjuster sits on top
What do you use to cut?
Whats the link for the bulbs
How are they holding up?
Like new. We do 2 of these a week
Links to parts?
Anybody have their Hi and low beams reversed after install? When I did mine with the lights from Headlightdepot with their adapter when the lever is in the Hi beam position it projects low and bright. When in the Low beam position it is projects higher but with a less bright beam? Any thoughts?
Sometimes when you use the adapters the prongs need to be flipped flopped, and just takes some time finding out which one. unplug each headlight and see if just one is doing this issue, but if you can pin point it too one, then inspect wiring on that one, if both are faulting it could be a very weird electrical issue. best of luck, let me know if you have any more questions
Where can I find those blue harness headlights connectors .?
Ebay
Thanks buddy

Hey guy, great video by the way. I am definitely going to do this project as soon as I get parts. You wouldn't happen to know the part number of the headlights? Thanks Ty

That is so confusing the cuts you should’ve marked it with a sharpie and then everyone can see exactly where you cut would be helpful. I’ll just go back and watch it several times thanks
A quick "googling" will show you all the lines, seems everyone else in the comments has enjoyed the video, so I guess we gotta get too the bottom of your problems to help you, what's on your mind? Headgaskets starting to blow? Having high pressure issues? Tell me what's grinding your gears Sean... I'd like to help!
@@816Diesel No major problems with the truck just I'm having a tough time cutting that panel behind the lights and thinking "there is no turning back" I got the lights from my nephew along with the those same lt blue plugs adapters. Normally not shy when it comes to modes I guess I'm not seeing it, I'm so visual if I saw a white line I would have just went for it but I think I'm over thinking it. After you get done laughing at my hesitation maybe point me to another similar mode with templet. Or I will just watch your youtube about 50 times and maybe I will get it. Thanks for getting back I do really appreciate any words and I know I deserve some ribbing and I'm used to that, my uncles were all contractors and that's how they taught me stuff when I was a kid.
I think I'll buy a new header.
