I made the Strawberry Panna Cotta, today. (4-15-21). We liked it so much, my wife asked me to make a triple batch. Only changes I made, was the gelatin leaves. I could not find them in any local stores. So, I had to use Knox brand gelatin powder type. Still turned out great. My garnish was a strawberry.

I make this in the summer time in the restaurant.. Such a lovely simple light dessert. I don't find it too heavy and I use fresh strawberries from the garden that grow wild here in the restaurant gardens

If I feel fancy I use a vanilla pod for the nice flavor and strain the coulis to remove any seeds that remain after blending. But panna cotta is a great dessert.

I did this recipe quite a few times now. As i usually dont consume sugary foods, only on the weekends or only on every second weekend, I can say that i prefer a bit less sugar in this dish. Maybe only 20g per 100ml of cream. Also similarly less sugar in the strawberry souce.
You can always cut back on the sugar if you don't want it to be too sweet, and that's fine as long as you enjoy your dessert. Don't forget to share this with family and friends!

Just attempted this recipe for New Years, it is in the fridge waiting to be ready. I am really nervous how it will turn out. 😅 Very useful video for newbies though; would have made a few mistakes if I had not watched this video. My stove is horrible, so it took around 30 minutes for the tiny bubbles to appear, even if the cream was still warm. The gelatine soaked for that long as well. The cream turned slightly beige/very light caramel color. But I did use vanilla pods instead of extract, so I think it might be color from there. But there was no gelatine clumps, so I will cross my fingers it still taste good! I don't think it burned, because I stirred it the whole time.

Credo che la mia prima panna cotta fosse ovviamente con la salsa di fragola ma mi era piaciuto forse di più la salsa al mango. Per dirla tutta, preferisco finire la salsa prima per poi godermi la parte panna cotta verace separatamente.

I just finished the procedure and my panna cotta is in the fridge, can’t wait to try it, also, I hope it’s not a mistake, but I wanted to make a big big very big one in a bowl, to slide it upside dow in a plate, put the sauce on top and cut it in a few slices, will see what happens I hope I don’t brake it ahah

I did this recipe quite a few times now.
As i usually dont consume sugary foods, only on the weekends or only on every second weekend, I can say that i prefer a bit less sugar in this dish. Maybe only 20g per 100ml of cream. Also similarly less sugar in the strawberry souce.
You can always cut back on the sugar if you don't want it to be too sweet, and that's fine as long as you enjoy your dessert. Don't forget to share this with family and friends!

Just attempted this recipe for New Years, it is in the fridge waiting to be ready. I am really nervous how it will turn out. 😅 Very useful video for newbies though; would have made a few mistakes if I had not watched this video.
My stove is horrible, so it took around 30 minutes for the tiny bubbles to appear, even if the cream was still warm. The gelatine soaked for that long as well. The cream turned slightly beige/very light caramel color. But I did use vanilla pods instead of extract, so I think it might be color from there. But there was no gelatine clumps, so I will cross my fingers it still taste good! I don't think it burned, because I stirred it the whole time.
