The unofficial patch has done nothing but make my game somehow MORE buggy, and it killed all of the useful features (such as the soul trapping a dead rat to max conjuration, or training for free with your followers). For instance, last night, I was fighting an ancient dragon at the summit of some random mountain outside of Morthal, and my follower disappeared. I ran around in circles trying to get her to appear... then I look to the skys, and to my great horror, there she was floating 10 meters off the ground spinning in the air head at about 250 RPM.
Just a friendly little note here: There's a bug where if you pickpocket Astrid's (Dark Brotherhood) Blade of woe, you'll get one. But she also gives you one once you fully complete the dark brotherhood quests. the pair of daggers is a deadly combo.
In the old Skyrim, when you kill the torturer in Helgen he had a hood, but you could never get it. Now in Skyrim SE you can get it and it's called "Torturer's Hood" with a base armor rating of 15, one more than a leather helmet. A great starter piece of armor
Jagr Melo All of it is vanilla or DLC. All the Dragon Priest masks are vanilla, Miraak is DLC, and a whole bunch of other stuff is just regular vanilla Skyrim. You could probably get 90% of these items without even getting the DLC. Anything Dawnguard/Vampire is DLC as well.

It's the most versatile play style. I have two characters open right now: a two handed heavy armor orc warrior and a no-armor destruction Dark Elf mage. The orc struggles against ice mages and dragons who just don't ever want to land. And the dark elf is only as good as his mana pool will allow him to be until you can enchant the mana hunger away. Sneak archers have no real flaws. You can take out fors at near or far range. The perks in the tree are actually useful. Arrows are plentiful. Sneaking allows you to end a fight before it has even begun and it is fairly easy to level because Faendal allows you to power level for no cost at all.

I actually did acquire the Falmer crown, but I use the unofficial patch. I don't know if that makes a difference or not, but if it does, I think it's stupid that Bethesda would forget to include it with the rest of the set.
Those “shit” predator boots actually have a cool and hidden purpose, same as vegetable stew. That 1% stamina regeneration is all you need for an *incredible* loophole. The game allows you to power strike or shield bash so long as you’re regenerating stamina, even if it’s only 1pt. Normally your stamina pauses before regeneration each time it hits zero… it leaves a sizeable pause before regeneration and resets the pause each time you attempt a power/bash move, potentially leaving you vulnerable. With those boots, that 1% makes *all the difference* in combat by allowing unlimited shield bash and power attacks! Try it for yourself, go make some vegetable stew that regenerates 1 stamina for a few minutes and just bash away! With Targe of the Blooded you’re basically unstoppable! Unlimited bashing and making everyone and everything around you gush blood until they die in a pool of their own filth! You never have to stop smashing them into ground beef! All because of those “shit” boots… ;D Hope this helps someone, it’s a very useful trick for 2H and S&S type players.
It is kinda weird that he included the Penitus Occulatus armor but not Stormcloak Officer armor. The easiest way to acquire it that I can remember is by killing the impersonator who sends you into one of the Dragon Cult ruins.
you dont have to kill anyone to get the vampire royal armor, its just lying around somewhere in the un-inhabitated area of that vampire castle (whatever its called)

Actually the ancient falmer crown can be obtained.You need to use these (ruby,diamond,etc) paragons which you find in the forgotten vale in the way to obtain auriel's bow.That is why the giant you saw on the auriel quest had paragon. Otherwhise these paragons won't have use except maybe for selling.
Fur Helmet can only be looted from two or three places in the game and cannot be bought or looted. Also, I think the cultist set (it is a mix of light and cloth iirc) would also qualify.
if you want to get the vampire royal armour dont kill serana!!! you can find it on a shelf in one of the rooms in Castle Volikhar (i don't know if i spelt it right)
You made an error on the nightingale armor set, specifically the gloves and hood, the maximum is 25 percent to one handed and lockpicking. Also a fun bit, if you wear the full set, it increases your armor rating by 25 percent making its armor rating superior to the guildmaster armor and the blackguard armor sets.
I actually consider Volsung to be useful enough to wear all the time. Its +20 points carrying lets one carry more dragonbone/scales without becoming overencumbered, and the breathing underwater enchantment is useful just in case you do become over, and can't run like the wind.
My light armour is op when I have my armour combos I get a armour rating of around a thousand with my full light armour (no shield either) If your wondering what my combo is its composed of Dragonscale Gauntlets, Boots, Chestpiece, Vulsung and a Penitus Oculatus Headpiece.

Don't kill any important Vampires, you can find a Vampire Royal Armor in Harkon's daughter's mother's room on the right corner before the door that is either hidden or requires a key. Alternately, you can "Pickpocket Equipped Items" including clothing with the 'Level 100 Pickpocket' Perk.
The nightingale set enchanting effects are better as you get higher levels (I think that if you get the set at lvl 35 or higher you will have the better enchants).
Uh, sorry but no, I got the Ancient Falmer Crown in Dawnguard when I killed Arch-Curate Vyrthur - it may have been from a mod of mine however, but I don't use any mods that add armor to the game aside from Wet and Cold adding cloaks and hoods and stuff, and another one that modifies loot tables to make end-of-dungeon chests, and top-tier enemies (Dragons, etc.) have better items - or potentially the Unofficial Patch - not sure if the Falmer Crown is in those or not, so if it is I apologize. But the only console command I have ever used was to change my fov to 100, and that's it. Not sure how or why other than potentially one of those three mods. Note I am also playing the Special Edition - perhaps it was added in that version? But it was definitely on his body for my game.
You either have the Ancient Falmer Crown fix mod and forgot about it, or you're lying. If Vyrthur wasn't wearing the crown, then you cannot loot it from his body.

Nope. Too high graphics (textures mainly) quality to be anything like Morrowind. I should know. I have played -- more accurately, am playing -- it. The stuff in Morrowind isn't nearly so heavy on those ultra-thin hardline edges. In fact, it doesn't HAVE ultra-thin hardline edges. It has thick, slightly blurred hardline edges, I believe would be how to best describe them.

In regards to the Ancient Falmer Crown, it's possible the people who claim they obtained it either have a bug that allows them to obtain it, or are using the Skyrim Unnofficial Patch, which makes it possible to obtaine the crown, and don't realize that the SUP has made it possible to obtain the crown.
How to get it: Go to Castle Karstaag Caverns (Solthsteim) and search the dead guy in front of you. Take his stolen note to Glover Mallory and he will give you a key. Use it on the locked door in his basement and take the treasure. The Blackguard armor will be there.
The crown doesn't need a console command if you have the unofficial skyrim patch installed. You get it by defeating the eleven vampire in dawnguard dlc quest with serana.

You forgot the Stormcloak officer set it's a Stormcloak unique set only worn by Stormcloak officers.

My favorite has always been the nightingale armor. Shrouded is second for me. Sometimes I combine the two.

Nope. Too high graphics (textures mainly) quality to be anything like Morrowind. I should know. I have played -- more accurately, am playing -- it. The stuff in Morrowind isn't nearly so heavy on those ultra-thin hardline edges. In fact, it doesn't HAVE ultra-thin hardline edges. It has thick, slightly blurred hardline edges, I believe would be how to best describe them.

with the deathbrand set, I argued if it was OP, as the armour rating was maxed out for me and was 526, but considering you are supposed to get the set when completing the game, it makes some sense, at the begining and you become a god, a god that has multiple cuts and bruises

for the vampire royal armor you can find in on the quest with serana when you have to go into the soul cairn. its in a corner somewhere near her mother's lab. or you can get it off harkon.
you can find it in harkons room lying on the table, it always respawns after a while. even after you kill Harkon

I looted the Ancient Falmer Crown in my last playthrough from the boss and i'm not sure how. I just looted it from him like normal.

no offense, but it's annoying and redundant when u say a piece of armor has "+20% sneak which is very handy if your sneaking". no shit lol...of course it's useful. it's also useful to wear a parachute when going skydiving

In regards to the Ancient Falmer Crown, it's possible the people who claim they obtained it either have a bug that allows them to obtain it, or are using the Skyrim Unnofficial Patch, which makes it possible to obtaine the crown, and don't realize that the SUP has made it possible to obtain the crown.

How to get it: Go to Castle Karstaag Caverns (Solthsteim) and search the dead guy in front of you. Take his stolen note to Glover Mallory and he will give you a key. Use it on the locked door in his basement and take the treasure. The Blackguard armor will be there.
