The reason why there is an apostrophe in General Tullius' Armor, is because that indicates that it is his armor, not the name of the armor. If that made sense
Ah, Vokun, my friend and enemy. My game bugged out after I put that mask on one of the manikins in my Falkreath home and it just kept dupping it forever. No matter what I did, it just kept making new ones, even if I removed Vokun and put a different helmet or mask on it, it would just spawn another Vokun and stash the second mask or helmet on it. Vokun is love, Vokun is life.
It does that with all armor it takes time it happens to me in the same house as you and I keep getting free dragon scale, bonemold, hardened falmer, and nordic armor I mean who turns down free money and speech levels haha

in ysgramoors tomb, you can go bacwards through the dungeon (to avoid the vent trigger) and pickpocket the ancient nordic armor pieces of of the ghosts, by using the detect lifeform shout with silent casting to see which graves have ghosts. then aim around the bottom edge of the 4 graves with ghosts in them, and pickpocket their stuff before they are alerted of your existence. they do kinda move while in the graves. you cannot loot them after defeating them.

Camel, I think if you have the ability Ancient Knowledge from the quest "Unfathomable Depths" Dwarven Armor gets a 25% boost but since it's bugged you get a 25% boost to all armor except Dawrven which could explain why the Visage of Mzund has a lower armor rating.

I am not sure if anyone said this but General Tullius' Armor is pronounced with the extra s at the end. When you place a comma behind an s, such as in Marcus' it implies ownership, the same way you would write Michael's. Although the extra s is not there it is implied and thus spoken.
The visage has lower armor rating because of the ancient knowledge glitch probably (dwarven armor supposed to be 25% stronger but every other armor gets that boost instead)
9:10 The reason why the defense is like that is because the passive effect “Ancient Knowledge” actually does the complete opposite of what it says, it increases defense for all heavy sets except for Dwemer.
Great guide, very thorough. I like the Mask of Clavicus Vile, I just wish it had a matching armor set as I typically use heavy, and would be able to benefit from the matching armor set bonus
You can't craft it, and it can only be acquired in one location, and only after doing a specific quest. That still qualifies as "unique" by his definition.
Camelworks one thing, when a name ends in an 's' then you only add an ' at the end of the word and it still sounds like 's, so when it says 'General Tullius' Armour' it actually reads as if it was 'General Tullius's Armour', but for some reason that cant happen in the language. Dunno why and dunno how to explain it well just thought id mention. Good vid tho
Camelworks I love your guides but I would so much prefer to see these items ON PLAYER (female of course, they're nicer to look at ;) rather than in inventory. I understand the added effort it would require and all that additional editing but it would make a huge difference in interest for viewers. so throw those items on your hottest character and let her model all that good shit! thanks mate. ;)
You can also keep the Jagged crown by a glitch. For whatever reason while it is a quest item you can pickpocket it onto Ralof or the Imperial dude and then complete the quest and get it back through pickpocket
@camelworks Since you didn't know why the priest masks we're higher than dwarven, dragon priests masks get a set bonus with daedric, dragon, and I think some others, depending on if it's heavy/light
It's probably been mentioned, but just in case: The reason the Visage of Mzund is showing a lower armor rating is a combination of things. For one, you've done the quest called Ancient Knowledge, I believe that's the name, the one you get from that ranting Argonian in Riften that has you return the puzzle box to a Dwemer ruin. That quest's reward is supposedly an armor rating buff to Dwemer armor, however it's bugged and actually buffs everything BUT Dwemer armor. The Visage is Dwemer armor. Most people into Heavy Armor won't notice it because Dwemer's pretty low-end and they leave it for Orcish and above pretty quick.
What about the unique imperial helmet?? The one with the full face mask n'stuff, it only has two exact locations in which it spawns... which makes it unique as far as I'm concerned
sorry about that last comment mistakes were made but what I was trying to say was I stand corrected what I was thinking about was the hardened Falmer Armor so thank you for clarifying that in the video
Great vid, know has been up awhile, but FYI General Tulius' Armor IS correct spelling...when pluralizing a word that ends in "s" (especially when the pluralism is on a Proper Noun, ie a name/town/person), the s' IS actually said as "ses"...so Tulius' & Tuliuses are 1&same (technically Tulius' [if say, on a Eng/Lit test] would be the correct/preferable method). Cheers & keep up the good work!
Also "s's" (Tulius's), the apostrophe was still intended to shorten "ses"...this shortening of the word was mainly due to hammer&chisel days, as well as grammatical purposes/literary indicators (vowels/consonants simply get "#'s" as their ending, but "s" [again, particularly in ProNouns to indicate possession of - or origin from, etc] is the sole exception with s', as you see there in Tulius') *Good luck on that test, fellow students~
its general tullius' because of english, not for any odd typo sort of reason. if a possessive word ends in s, instead of adding apostrophe s, you just add an apostrophe.
The dwarven helm that seemed to have the wrong armor rating is because of a mistake in the game. When you complete a quest you are given ancient knowledge that is supposed to increase armor rating of dwarven armor only. Instead it increases every other kind of armor. You must have already finished that quest.
You did the quest Ancient Knowledge, which, due to a bug, boosts the armor rating of everything EXCEPT Dwemer armor. That's why the Visage of Mzund's armor rating is lower.
+NubCaik For the sake of this video, I used console commands to get all of the items. I used singular console commands as I don't believe one exists that will deliver all items.
I usually go with Hevnoraak on heavy armor characters, armor rating is super good and its not even hard to get it early, disease immunity is very high quality of life and poison immunity make completely nullify some enemies and traps.
you have to give up the forge masters fingers if you want to complete the quest and there are plenty of items you can find with a more powerful version of the same enchantment. If you want to get the most out of your equipment I would advise that you learn the enchantment and then enchant what you can(gloves, rings, and necklaces) so you can wear it all at once to give your weapons and armor a huge boost.
I found a glitch (among many others) at Hendraheim. Maybe others already know about it. Seems like a great way to make coin. You can walk away with as many sets of each armor set you want. I don't know why it's happening, but so far I've made 5 sets of Blades armor. I put any set on one of the mannequins, then swap it out for a different set, come back at some point later and find the first set back on the mannequin, as well as the second one, even though I took the first set out of the mannequin inventory. I think it's happened at least one other location but can't remember where. Beyond selling duplicates, and having a display set, both you and your companion can have an awesome armor set.
Christian Dael The one with spikes? I have it and its Falmer Hardened Armor go to Forgotten Vale (part of dawnguard) and I forgot what paragon it is but it's a forest one with snow and the falmer will have this armor and helmet with it, it has also has the boots and gauntlets but it didn't let me take it.
Khonariik also has another secondary and hidden effect that really only happens about .1% of the time I think, extremely low. Anyhow, the mask literally summons a dragon priest to your side for about a minute or so. Found this one out personally doing the Namiras Ring quest and fighting the 3 powerful draugr in the end chamber, a dragon priest appeared but did not register as an enemy. It also acted like a summon in the respect that it had "(A) Isaac's Dragon Priest" below the cursor. It was not a mod and I had no follower at the time. Later I did research and found that it was the mask, because I did not summon nor did I have anything else that could summon, a dragon priest. I killed it, and then it summoned it again, except the priest was in spectral form that time around. I haven't played on that data in a long time, so it hasn't happened since then. Just thought you'd like to know.
You should've included an area or questline, or person you can pick these items up from for all the videos. Still the videos are much appreciated and you've done a great job!
weasle min max your heavy armor and unlock every perk after max your smithing and unlock every perk then get your ebony mail and go to the workbench and upgrade it
I do believe there is a bug with the passive power you get from the Unfathomable Depths quest. The power says it makes Dwemer armor more effective but in actuality it enhances every armor except Dwemer.
Mods really piss me off because I'm a consul user and will never get to have these skins that make the masks look so amazing Bethesda really needs to spend more time on making items look amazing and breath taking
I'm sorry about no punctuation Like for example I hate it how its cut and paste with some items or its like a common item with a different name Bethesda needs to slow down and look at items and make sure they are Worth getting...it seems as though when the team was working on items Todd Howard was asked if it looked good and he pretty much just waved his hand saying yeah sure, or even some items like the Grey Beards Robes I would love to have those, and another thing Why Did They Get Rid Of Repairing Armour there is Way, Way too much hand holding in Skyrim
Yeah Skyrim was easy as and played itself. Morrowind for example kicked your ass! I won't get into it here but I will be having plenty of discussion talks about what I want in TES 6 and why I think they need to change a lot of things.
One thing I would love to see is more Sheagorath, with how developed Skyrim was a new Sheagorath experience would be amazing maybe even more race type like you could be a Flesh Attranach maybe even experience something like the Black Plague and you have that weird freaky snout mask and robe, real legit looking Armour, and I Really Want the Bi Polar Blade to make a come back as well as Her Hands Armour, that Armour was sexy in Morrowind never mind with next Gen
Dude, they spend about five years on each game. They don't need to spend anymore time... lol. Go PC instead of console. PC will always have advantages over console gaming. Always.
your videos about all the Skyrim unique things are awesome, man. I use these videos to help me determine which unique things I want to take the time to find, and whether or not I want their enchantments. sure is sad though, that so many people have nothing better to do with their time than be grammar nazis. everybody wants to hate and judge. anyway, thanks again, man.
' in General Talius' Armour stands for 's in others Thats a rule if the owner's name ends withs, else it would be General Talius's armour which is incorrect
You even middle school English bro? When a name ends with an "s", you put an apostrophe just at the end of the word without following it up with another s. Show it is Tullius', but sounds like Tullius's. It's very basic English mate.
5:36 Oops lol I just came across this helmet in my game the other day, didn't realize it was unique. Already knew the fire resistance enchantment and had a 52% effective on one my boots, so for fun I shot an explosive fire bolt at this thing and sent it flying.
It's not so much that people are right or wrong about this (it'd be Tullius's Armor, by the most recent standards I read), because everyone here was right at some point in recent history. English changes rules more often than most people are aware of, and some of those rules have been switched back and forth as newer interpretations and miscommunications are recorded. Because most people would say the S after the apostrophe, it is often included in the spelling, but can be omitted. As long as people understand the message.
Apparently this guy can't even English, because when you punctuate a pronoun that ends with an S, it's still pronounced with an additional s although it's not written...
why the F$%£ is the blade armor heavy armor... they are baseed on Samurias, Samurias NEVER used heavy armor EVER edit: this was years ago! and have learned more since then, I know historically there was no definition between light, medium and heavy armour and this is a modern concept, but in the elder scrolls world light armour is weaker, lighter and more flexible (generally) and heavy armour is heavier stronger and more rigid........ and the rigid part is the part that always bothered me.... Martial Arts.... the idea of the a group of warriors based on the samurai being stuck in a tin suit unable to me because it conflicted with allllllllll my training. I still have room to grow though. and still comment reminds me of of how much worse I used to be, still growing and always moving forward.... now can the cringe please die?
Sathar common misunderstanding of light/heavy armor classification... they weren't classed on weight... have you ever wore chain mail.... let's just say for being classed as light armor it isn't light to wear... it was classed on how restrictive the armor was to wear as the more movement that's restricted the heaver it feels even if it's light to wear, if you tried to kick me in heavy armor your leg won't go higher than half the height of your skin... a Samurai would be better at fighting WITH OUT armor at all than with heavy armor... heavy armor ONLY existed in countries with Knights and fighters alike to Knights, Rome, Greek, Chinese, Japanese and all other countries with Martial Art fighting NEVER used heavy armor as it could get you killed
Sathar based yes.... but done really poorly... I didn't get paid to do tons of research to get the Akaviren done right... it shatters the immersion of any Martial Artist/ someone who goes to museums for education (I've done both... the museums are how I know of the strengths and weaknesses of heavy armor) the Imperials being based off Romans and the Blades are both done badly... it makes Bestesda look lazy when some random on one on the internet know more off the off of their head then Bestesda seems to know from what they puts into the games... it's kind of sad really
if you kill patthurnax(don't remember how to spell his name)and go back to sky haven temple delphine will tell you to bring members to the temple to become blades (the people you bring are just followers)they take an oath and they say they are committed to the blades or some crap(you can still take them on adventures)and delphine will give them blades armour and sword(you cannot take it from their inventory)if they die in battle you can take their armour
It's FALL-mer... (They say it in the game...) -and actually, it is General Tullius/'/, because it is his... The apostrophe shows ownership, but it goes at the end of a noun that ends in S, and is still pronounced as "David's" would be, but you double the S sound.
The reason why there is an apostrophe in General Tullius' Armor, is because that indicates that it is his armor, not the name of the armor. If that made sense
Hahaha thanks mate. I knew this but unfortunately had a brain fart while making this video.

I understand the added effort it would require and all that additional editing but it would make a huge difference in interest for viewers. so throw those items on your hottest character and let her model all that good shit! thanks mate. ;)
Dukaan's mask is my favorite style. He is the only priest I have fought thus far..
You can also keep the Jagged crown by a glitch. For whatever reason while it is a quest item you can pickpocket it onto Ralof or the Imperial dude and then complete the quest and get it back through pickpocket
He said that in the video
After I completed "Unfathomable Depths", I can't stop wearing Dwarven armor due to the perk I get.
@camelworks Since you didn't know why the priest masks we're higher than dwarven, dragon priests masks get a set bonus with daedric, dragon, and I think some others, depending on if it's heavy/light
The asterisk on the "s" of " tullius' " gives the sound of tuliuses.
It is an apostrophe
You should do a video on all unique enchants, I'm sure there are any enchants you could showcase.
The apostrophe is for when there is an s at the end of the name.
sorry about that last comment mistakes were made but what I was trying to say was I stand corrected what I was thinking about was the hardened Falmer Armor so thank you for clarifying that in the video
Why does everyone care about his grammar on one word? One person says it. Done. Everyone doesn't nt have to go and say it.
Also "s's" (Tulius's), the apostrophe was still intended to shorten "ses"...this shortening of the word was mainly due to hammer&chisel days, as well as grammatical purposes/literary indicators (vowels/consonants simply get "#'s" as their ending, but "s" [again, particularly in ProNouns to indicate possession of - or origin from, etc] is the sole exception with s', as you see there in Tulius')
*Good luck on that test, fellow students~
Is anyone else getting this long ass buffering circle. Seriously UA-cam, this is 2016. Step it up a bit.
OMG CURENT YEeR EVERTHIG SHUD B PURFECT
Is the all caps supposed to impress me?
James Roper
?
James Roper guys it's the current year seriously Jesus Christ it's the current year!!!!
James Roper no, because I don't steal my internet from a McDonald's...
its general tullius' because of english, not for any odd typo sort of reason. if a possessive word ends in s, instead of adding apostrophe s, you just add an apostrophe.
that optical illusion at 10:05
Ik your comment is old, but that is really cool👌
The dwarven helm that seemed to have the wrong armor rating is because of a mistake in the game. When you complete a quest you are given ancient knowledge that is supposed to increase armor rating of dwarven armor only. Instead it increases every other kind of armor. You must have already finished that quest.
*JESUS WANTS TO KNOW YOUR LOCATION*
You did the quest Ancient Knowledge, which, due to a bug, boosts the armor rating of everything EXCEPT Dwemer armor. That's why the Visage of Mzund's armor rating is lower.
How did you get all the unique heavy armor pieces and unique one handed weapons? Is there a console command for this?
+NubCaik For the sake of this video, I used console commands to get all of the items. I used singular console commands as I don't believe one exists that will deliver all items.
Camelworks Aw, crap. :3
+Camelworks What's the mod your using to change the Dragon Priest masks? They look WAY better this way
+NubCaik ^ help then the name of the piece =D have fun =D
+NubCaik yes there is a command
Konahvrik actually summons the dragonpriest to fight alongside you, when you are low
what is the name of the mod what you are using?
I usually go with Hevnoraak on heavy armor characters, armor rating is super good and its not even hard to get it early, disease immunity is very high quality of life and poison immunity make completely nullify some enemies and traps.
Beware, grammar nazis incoming.
Mr Niceguy The only place with more salt are feminist marches
*Grammar Thalmor
Soviet Wanderer nice one
It’s funny how when someone calls me grammar thalmor I feel more ashamed of myself than when someone calls me grammar nazi.
every all up in arms about the tullius' thing and im over having nightmares for the "im watching you" at the end of the video
Apparently 2015 Camel was unaware that the apostrophe at the end of a word ending is "S" you pronounce as if it were spelt "Tulius's"
A go cares
you have to give up the forge masters fingers if you want to complete the quest and there are plenty of items you can find with a more powerful version of the same enchantment. If you want to get the most out of your equipment I would advise that you learn the enchantment and then enchant what you can(gloves, rings, and necklaces) so you can wear it all at once to give your weapons and armor a huge boost.
Everyone knows this. I mean... it's obvious!
Kai-chan you would be surprised at how many people seem to miss the obvious.
+PsychoGamer2100 Good to know. That's sad .-.
"Not General Tullius' Armor but General Tullius Armor" It literally says Tullius' right there.
Otar has always been my main man... Those resistances are so nice
I use Vokun for my conjuration character, and bound sword
Ik I'm late but what is the last armor in the thumbnail?
I was thinking the same thing.
Would have been nice to know in the video where to get all of these :(
I found a glitch (among many others) at Hendraheim.
What's the armour on the bottom right of the clickbait?
Clickbait? You mean the thumbnail?
Christian Dael The one with spikes? I have it and its Falmer Hardened Armor go to Forgotten Vale (part of dawnguard) and I forgot what paragon it is but it's a forest one with snow and the falmer will have this armor and helmet with it, it has also has the boots and gauntlets but it didn't let me take it.
Thanks babe
I wish there was heavy vampire armor, that's what I thought it was at first
Bryan Volkers I no man
Khonariik also has another secondary and hidden effect that really only happens about .1% of the time I think, extremely low.
Just thought you'd like to know.
you forgot Morokei
Deezee Breezee . Morokei is a light armor mask
You should've included an area or questline, or person you can pick these items up from for all the videos. Still the videos are much appreciated and you've done a great job!
post a video of how to get to that room!
+Xavier Jewell modded
+jesse zwaan thx I don't plan on moding any time soon the anyway
The legendary ebony chest piece was awesome, I wore it until the end, (ps3 version), and will soon start the PS4 updated game soon!
why is the ebony mail Armour rating over six hundred
weasle min max your heavy armor and unlock every perk after max your smithing and unlock every perk then get your ebony mail and go to the workbench and upgrade it
Elder scrolls V Skyrim but obviously he shouldn't do that since the armor cap is 567
he used restoration glitch, its pointless for armor anyway cause there is a cap on it.
Where is saviors hide?
I use black mail spell break and nightgale sword with A's bow 👌🏽
You mean the Ebony Mail, the Spellbreaker, Nightingale Sword and Auriel's Bow
You are aware General tullius' actually means general tulliuses. The ' just takes out the es.
I love this guy. I am getting wet everytime he says "This is a powerful enchantment".
The Devil xD
If you put a video of the strongest armour in the game without dlc or mods minds blown away
how is his armor rating so high without him improving it at all?
Gryphon05 He most likely has a high Heavy Armor skill level or Heavy Armor perks
He used cheats bruh
Joachim George Poulose Skyrim noob right here
Perks, and armor leveling with him.
I agree. I think you will be keen for my "Elder Scrolls 6 Discussion" videos series.
I'm sorry about no punctuation
Like for example I hate it how its cut and paste with some items or its like a common item with a different name Bethesda needs to slow down and look at items and make sure they are Worth getting...it seems as though when the team was working on items Todd Howard was asked if it looked good and he pretty much just waved his hand saying yeah sure, or even some items like the Grey Beards Robes I would love to have those, and another thing Why Did They Get Rid Of Repairing Armour there is Way, Way too much hand holding in Skyrim
The azidal helm is differant on myn
i_warrior_gaming my one looks different, too. anyone got an idea about that?
Mods.
@@trichogaster1183
Depends if your character is a man or a woman
' in General Talius' Armour stands for 's in others
Thats a rule if the owner's name ends withs, else it would be General Talius's armour which is incorrect
Yeah,as if there isn’t 400 comment saying the same thing
@@ghosttoast8610 At least im not 404
You even middle school English bro? When a name ends with an "s", you put an apostrophe just at the end of the word without following it up with another s. Show it is Tullius', but sounds like Tullius's. It's very basic English mate.
thanks lol I was looking for this comment
It really doesn't matter. It's the Internet, bro. Stop complaining
Dont make me wield my Trollbane
ACTUALLY in English if it is a name you still add an s.
+Vincent Smith IT DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER!!!
5:36 Oops lol I just came across this helmet in my game the other day, didn't realize it was unique. Already knew the fire resistance enchantment and had a 52% effective on one my boots, so for fun I shot an explosive fire bolt at this thing and sent it flying.
He says not tullius' when it clearly does say tullius'... 😂😂😂
IKR! That was a facepalm for me
It would actually be tullius's
It wouldn't if an s sound needs another s sound after it like Tullius' it does that not Tullius's
A name does not mean it is plural, so you still add the S.
I'm pretty sure it does if my schools have been teaching us this exact thing for years...
Sadly, I can't English enough to read your comment
Roasted!!
nice
Julian Harrison glad I wasn't the only one to notice that
Julian Harrison and that's how you clearly english
You do realize that Falmer armor has boots and gauntlets with it right? It's on the same table and can also only be found there.
why the F$%£ is the blade armor heavy armor... they are baseed on Samurias, Samurias NEVER used heavy armor EVER
edit: this was years ago! and have learned more since then, I know historically there was no definition between light, medium and heavy armour and this is a modern concept, but in the elder scrolls world light armour is weaker, lighter and more flexible (generally) and heavy armour is heavier stronger and more rigid........ and the rigid part is the part that always bothered me.... Martial Arts.... the idea of the a group of warriors based on the samurai being stuck in a tin suit unable to me because it conflicted with allllllllll my training. I still have room to grow though. and still comment reminds me of of how much worse I used to be, still growing and always moving forward.... now can the cringe please die?
ya they did
Sathar common misunderstanding of light/heavy armor classification... they weren't classed on weight... have you ever wore chain mail.... let's just say for being classed as light armor it isn't light to wear... it was classed on how restrictive the armor was to wear as the more movement that's restricted the heaver it feels even if it's light to wear, if you tried to kick me in heavy armor your leg won't go higher than half the height of your skin... a Samurai would be better at fighting WITH OUT armor at all than with heavy armor... heavy armor ONLY existed in countries with Knights and fighters alike to Knights, Rome, Greek, Chinese, Japanese and all other countries with Martial Art fighting NEVER used heavy armor as it could get you killed
***** well there not samurias there akaviren who are diffrent but basted off samurias culture
That's a fair question... I would have really liked to have a Light armor version of it...
if you kill patthurnax(don't remember how to spell his name)and go back to sky haven temple delphine will tell you to bring members to the temple to become blades (the people you bring are just followers)they take an oath and they say they are committed to the blades or some crap(you can still take them on adventures)and delphine will give them blades armour and sword(you cannot take it from their inventory)if they die in battle you can take their armour
That One Kid or just get it and dragonbane from the room on the left the first time you go to sky Haven.
I love the dragon priest masks you get from solsthiem
The apostrophe after the s in Tullius' means Tullius's, it implies it, like James'
Ahzidal is also really good when you are a vampire it negates a good bunch of your fire weakness.
Antivaluvian that coupled with being a dark elf, you ain't getting sun burned at the beach no more
It's FALL-mer... (They say it in the game...)
-and actually, it is General Tullius/'/, because it is his... The apostrophe shows ownership, but it goes at the end of a noun that ends in S, and is still pronounced as "David's" would be, but you double the S sound.
